Todo bien, excepto que después de salir comprobé mi recibo y me di cuenta de que me habían cobrado por 3 pintas de cerveza que no había pedido. ¡Me costó alrededor de 20 libras!

Fuimos hoy a tomar un té por la tarde. Estaba tan feliz de tomar un verdadero té inglés por la tarde y me fui terriblemente decepcionado! Las tartas no son frescas sino que se toman en supermercado , el bocadillo hecho sin ningún amor : Solo un trozo de queso y un pepino tiran dentro del pan, ¡y todo esto por 27 libras cada uno! Es una trampa para turistas. No puedo comentar la otra comida pero el té de la tarde para evitar Absoluto! No puedo poner ninguna foto porque estaba tan triste cuando vi la comida que no quería recordar esta experiencia de ninguna manera!

Reservamos una mesa para 7 sin ningún conocimiento previo del restaurante. Simplemente pasó y el menú en la ventana parecía atractivo. ¡Que hermoso lugar! La comida era absolutamente deliciosa. Excelentes entrantes: mini pudines de Yorkshire con rodajas de rosbif y deliciosos pasteles de cangrejo. Luego teníamos todo, desde el pastel de pescado y el pastel de pastor hasta una hamburguesa. Terminado con crumble de manzana y una mini bagatela excelente. El personal no podría haber sido mejor. Los platos principales tenían alrededor de 11 o 12 libras. Estamos todos aquí por tres meses y puedo ver que este lugar será un firme favorito.

I am so grateful to the staff here. I had taken my mum for a day out. She is frail and the café is perfect - nice food, good disabled toilet, good parking and in the park. I suddenly realised my purse wasn't in my bag. The counter staff did not recall it being handed in. I assumed that looking after mum my attention had not been on my bag and the purse0 had been taken. I was just starting to cancel my cards when a man ran up. The purse had been left on the table(!!!) It was in the office. A dreadful experience but switched in a moment to confirming this is a lovely place to go. THANK YOU.

Tuve una experiencia terrible. Me cobraron de más y supuestamente me dieron un reembolso, que no se llevó a cabo. Pedí mi recibo y me pidieron que esperara. Esperé y esperé y esperé mientras mi café se enfriaba. Entonces me dijeron que me lo traerían. No lo era. Así que regresé y la mujer que me sirvió finalmente aceptó que me había cambiado por un café extra y dijo que tocara mi tarjeta para un reembolso que no pasó. Fue muy grosera. No esperaba mucho y no me decepcionó. Para ser justos era barato (ish) a poco más de £ 80 por la noche. No hay personal visible. Hablé con el barman del pub adyacente que ayudó. Sin rollos de papel higiénico. ¿Estaba destinado a tomar el mío? Sin jabón para lavarse las manos. El grifo del lavabo manual era extremadamente guiñol y flojo. Botón roto del inodoro, pero funcionó. Olor muy fuerte a cannabis al entrar en el hotel. Oficial de policía retirado, así que sí, era cannabis. Iluminación desnuda en las escaleras que eran muy sucios. La puerta tiene un botón pulsador manual de bloqueo de código. Ninguna manija en el exterior y donde había estado simplemente estaba rellena con papel tisú para bloquear el agujero. No se puede cerrar con llave desde el interior que pude averiguar, así que bloqueé la puerta con la silla y el equipaje por si acaso. La habitación era sencilla y limpia, las sábanas y toallas estaban limpias. No sabía que hacían televisores tan pequeños, pero estaba bien, no lo necesitaba ni lo usaba. La zona no es la más salubre. No había mesa para la lámpara lateral que era tan alta que apenas podía alcanzarla de todos modos.

I knew this place under previous ownership, and thought I would give it a go. Still had a good, positive atmosphere, and a range of fresh, tasty items. Staff were a little offhand, however, and I suspect they had not been there very long, so lacked confidence. A great pity, as I enjoyed the produce greatly.

I was very excited to try this restaurant whilst visiting London and made a reservation for a late dinner on a Friday evening a few days before arriving in London. The restaurant comes from the founders of a famous London wine bar/market. I left underwhelmed. The service was aloof and “too cool for school;” the server showed no interest in helping us with menu choices or pairing interesting wines with what we selected. The server also didn’t seem to have much interest in whether we liked the food. I didn’t really like the food. It was not bad, but it was not outstanding or particularly inspirational. Prawns to start were served with an under-seasoned sauce; fish stew was nothing special. The space is okay, but a little spartan. I liked what they were going for but wanted a few cozier touches. Overall, not a place I’d seek to return. Whilst not a horrible meal, it wasn’t a great one, either, and much better experiences can be had for this price point in London.

A Cozy Cocktail Bar with Exceptional Service. I had a fantastic visit to this charming cocktail bar with a friend. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Lamar and Gavin, the dynamic bartending duo, crafted our drinks with skill and care—especially the peach and kiwi daiquiri, the best I’ve ever had. The ambiance was perfect, with great music and stylish décor enhancing the experience. I'll definitely be back
