Benugo - Regent's Park in Camden

Honestly one of the most inedible meals we have ever experienced. The fish was virtually cremated (literally inedible) and the 'mushroom risotto' wasn't even made from risotto rice, but from pearly barley - swirling in tasteless oil with a few mushrooms and carrots thrown on the top. We would have asked for our money back, but had to get back to work as we were kept waiting so long for our meals. Utterly disgusting and a deeply unpleasant experience - would not go back.

We hoped to have a enjoyable afternoon tea at Regents Bar but it wasn't to be. Situated off the inner circle of the park, it's convenient but the vibe of the place is like an overpriced work canteen. The pastries we had were quite dry and coffee just didn't hit the mark. We sat outside and didn't realise our table had bird poo on it, so had to do a clean-up.

Lovely location and delicious pizza. Such a shame the chef was all smiles for his customers but audibly bullying his staff. Really aggressive. This shouldn’t be happening in 2023.

We were here for my husband's 70th birthday in April so thought that we would return for lunch on our 49th Wedding Anniversary. We decided to just have a light snack and some wine. The restaurant did not disappoint and we had a lovely meal. Thank you to all but especially Charlotte for our surprise. 😁

Laughable service and painfully slow. It’s like the staff haven’t spoken to people before. Overpriced and poor quality.

A simple pizza and chips took over an hour to arrive, after asking about the food twice. Table was dirty and had to clean it myself. Not coming back. Sorry.

Une jolie découverte, commande rapide grâce au numéro sur les tables. Serveurs efficaces et aimables. Les pizzas sont très bonnes et faites maison par un pizzaïolo italien ! Et le cadre est agréable, en plein dans le parc. C'est le lieu idéal pour les familles, les groupes etc.. Et enfin, les plats sont à des prix raisonnables. Je recommande.

We invited friends for lunch, we had been to this cafe over ten years ago so we expected reasonable standards. We couldn’t be more wrong; 1. The premises are dirty, run down, and in need of major renovation. 3. The toilets facilities are insufficiently small and out of order. 5. The food is poor quality

We were told “Pizza’s only” when we went for pre-theatre meal at 18.30 on a Tuesday evening. “And no sides” as “kitchen closed early”. No explanation or apology. Placed order for pizzas - which took 38 minutes to arrive rather than the 7-8 minutes it should have taken. Chased after 25 minutes to be told kitchen printer was broken so food preparation hadn’t even started. Staff were indifferent to the point of rudeness. A harassed and clearly overwhelmed ‘chef’ argued about the situation in front of customers. Food was delivered just as we had decided to leave. Still no apology or apparent concern. The pizzas were fine. Nothing special. So if you have any other choice - such as eating at the Open Air Theatre - then I’d recommend you make it. Or bring sandwiches. Great location alone is not enough to save this restaurant / bar / cafe. We will not be returning.

There appears to be a change of management . It used to be excellent . Today the salad nicoise took 45 mins to come . It was v small - most unlike the previous one we had here . It was appalling value at £13.50 . The pizza was fine and came after 10 minutes . No one appears to know what they are doing . Avoid - such a shame .

Awful food. Incredibly disinterested staff, although I don’t blame them as we were seated right next to the kitchen and could barely have a conversation because of an angry chef screaming, berating the staff and throwing a tantrum the entire time. It was incredibly embarrassing to see a chef making below average burgers and chips cos playing Gordon Ramsey. Really dreadful experience altogether couldn’t wait to get out of there.

If I could give 0, I would. Horrible customer service, the guys just simply didn’t care in serving us or when asked for help. I do understand that it was 1 hour before closing and on a Bank holiday, however that’s not an excuse. I have ordered a coffee with oat milk, due to being lactose intolerant and they have given me a regular milk product… 0/10 would recommend.

I was massively overcharged. Check that you keep the receipts. It was a busy day and the staff seemed stressed and rushed off their feet. The coffee tasted ok, but not £32.40 ( which was what I was charged) tasty.

Waited so long for a breakfast in a half empty restaurant. By the time our breakfast came, we had long finished our hot drinks. My husband had cold fried eggs and something that tried to resemble bacon. My Guacamole, which was taken straight from the fridge, not room temp, turning brown on malted bread, advertised as toast was soggy, possibly frightened with a toaster, all topped with uncooked poached eggs, whites running across the plate when stabbed. I had to send it back for cooked eggs and the girls in the kitchen looked disgusted that I dared to.

Going to regents Park open air theatre, and fell upon this fantastic restaurant. The food was excellent, cooked fresh and served fast and hot. Thanks Nicole for excellent service and quality. I had the fish finger sandwich and I think they were the best chips I've had in ages. Plenty of meter parking nearby

Decent staff and very good food. In my opinion it’s a good quality restaurant in the center of Regent’s Park. We came for breakfast and the food was tasty and quiet affordable, we had a full English breakfast and a sausage sandwich for around £18,...

I just can't understand some of the these negative comments. Some people just like to complain for sake of it. We had the beef burger and chips which was honestly the best burger I've had. My partner had the fish finger sandwich which he loved....

Chaos in action! I’ve never seen such disorganisation and confusion. Lost, delayed and mixed up orders; streams of complaining customers; no availability of some menu items. Pizzas were ok but other food was over cooked (charred fish fingers for children’s lunch) and tasteless. The park...

What a find - food amazing - staff very friendly and helpful - will definitely return if in London again

Average food outlet in Regents Park. Not so much choice within the park so settled on light refreshments here. Staff were helpful and courteous. Payment by contactless only. Prices higher than ever age but not too bad.

We visited regents bar and kitchen today, the food, service and atmosphere were outstanding. The general manager was so accommodating and even sat talking to my father as he sat alone waiting for me and my friends to arrive.

Stopped in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with a very tasty meal. We sat inside, due to the time of year, however the outdoor seating would ideal for the Spring/ Summer seasons. Reasonably priced and a good value .

Este lindo restaurante - café dentro do Regent's Park surpreende pela decoração e pelos pratos deliciosos. Tem o salão interno e mesinhas ao ar livre, além de embalagens para levar para comer no parque. Os bolos são sensacionais , difícil escolher qual levar....Uma atendente brasileira, ao nos ver falar em português , veio nos ajudar com as escolhas e ainda nos esclareceu que há caixinhas de papelão para levar os doces para o parque e que as geléias ( maravilhosas) eram cortesia ! Adorei !

This place is lovely. You can sit outside on hexagon tables and talk about anything. They make great coffee and also oven baked pizzas. The staff are great. Sit and enjoy the gardens and plants. Good range of menu items. If solo best enjoyed listening to Ed Sheeran. Amazing place. Regent’s Park lovely. Must be seen. A must if in London.

Visitamos temprano / a media mañana después de una caminata en Regents Park. Los asientos estaban adentro o afuera, pero era imposible rechazar la oportunidad de sentarse afuera en una mañana tan encantadora.Había escalfado huevos y mi hijo pidió tostadas francesas con tocino y jarabe de arce.La mía consistía en tres huevos escalfados muy bien cocinados sobre masa fermentada tostada (¿qué más?!) Y estaba muy bueno. Mi hijo disfrutó muchísimo su tostada francesa; rara vez lo he visto disfrutar tanto de su comida y, para empezar, tiene una paleta muy variada. Completamos nuestros desayunos con té de desayuno, que era muy bueno (¡pero no tan bueno como el que se sirve en The Regency Cafe!). Eso fue 20 más o menos.Desayuno encantador, un restaurante atractivo y una maravillosa ubicación en el parque.

We sat outside.had nice lunch . Chicken on pitta bread .salad. Was ok.just had tap.water. Toilets were clean.service was good.

Came here for a late brunch after doing a 10k event. The menu is very appealing, we ordered the eggs royale and veg full english. The eggs royale came out first and was so cold and poached eggs overcooked. Didn't complain as was hungry. My boyfriend meal came out 10 minutes later even though we ordered it at the same time, and it was a tepid temperature. Then 5 minutes later the additional hash brown came out. The service was really poor. However, the coffee was really nice and would come back just for that.

Heavy rain and we nip into this cafe for a drink. It rains more heavily so, it being Sunday morning, we decide to have a late breakfast. The menu looks good and the separate self service area inviting. You pick from the menu and order at the till with your table number.This is where the chaos begins. No cups: they've run out so we're all using disposable and confusion about who has ordered what. Drinks collected I return to our table and shortly the food comes. A full English: black pudding, bacon, the works. Shame really as I ordered the vegetarian. Its sorted quickly.The place is full of cyclists too and the restaurant is noisy.Would I give again, yes, but I'd pick carefully to make sure it wasn't too busy.

Fue una visita muy decepcionante para mí y mi familia. Decidimos tomar un poco de helado y el chico que estaba sirviendo esto afuera fue muy cortante al preguntar "¿has pagado?" Y cuando no pudo entender mi orden, se molestó e incluso golpeó la tina de helados de regreso a su lugar . Después de lo cual, comentó: "un poco grosero, ¡ni siquiera un agradecimiento!"Sin embargo, un miembro del personal con el que hablé dentro de la cafetería después del incidente fue encantadora y servicial.

First went here a couple of years ago and vowed never to return but ended up coming back again last weekend - big mistake! Things hadn't improved in the two years since I'd last been. Overpriced, average food and drink. No waitress service - have to queue up. Two years ago had fish and chips that was ok but not great and a very overpriced Pimm's which had no Pimm's in it. Last weekend decided to try the pizza instead and had the mushroom one which looked nice, but had about one mushroom on it, and was mostly cheese and a big crust. The base was at least crispy. Made the mistake of having another Pimms, and still overpriced (£7) with no discernible Pimms in it. Lots of pigeons eating left overs on the tables.

Visited yesterday, it was very busy as a sunny Saturday. But the queue just to buy a cup of tea took over 25 minutes (not enough staff and those who were serving were incredibly slow) and in the ladies toilets one cubicle had no door, and three of the other toilets had no loo paper. Not impressive for one of the Queen's parks. The gardens, or course, are magnificent.

Endroit très joli dans le magnifique Regent Park. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par nos plats qui étaient très bons (burgers). Malgrés le monde, une fois la commande passée en caisse, nos plats sont arrivés assez rapidement. Seul bémol, c'était un jour très ensoleillé et chaud et il aurait fallu quelques parasols en plus pour ombrager plus de tables (rien de très grave ;)) . A faire sans hésiter lors d'une jolie balade dans le parc pour un café ou un déjeuner :)

Tog en promenad upp från Oxford Street via St Chrisoffers Place -Marylebone till Regents Park. Strosade runt till Primrose hill och stannade till för en kaffe och ett glas vatten vid detta vattenhål. Inget speciellt mer än att det var humana priser, trevlig ung personal, men framför allt att det fanns där och var öppet. I fint väder som vi hade, få är det underbart att sitta utomhus vid träbänkarna med sin kaffe.

We cycled here on a gorgeous hot sunny Saturday morning for brunch. I ordered Eggs Benedict and J ordered full English. Our coffee cake in disposable cups because they’d already run out of clean mugs. The food was simply inedible. Disgusting infact. Ingredients so cheap it was embarrassing. £30 for breakfast. A tiny flavourless egg on a slice of cheap salty ham on a bed of congealed yellow goo sitting on a 3 day old white burger bun. Husbands fry up equally awful. Most staff were helpful and pleasant and I felt sorry for them having to dish up such crap. I complained and mine was refunded. The guy collecting plates took away my husbands breakfast when he was 1/2 was through. So all in all a real shame because they have a monopoly in the Park. The food was absolutely awful and so so cheap. Stop being greedy and maxing out what you can screw out of tourists and try to take a bit more pride in what you dish up at this iconic spot.

Came here with my husband on a lovely sunny afternoon. Miserable service- sighed heavily when we ordered extra food. Tables outside dirty. Bad atmosphere in lovely location.

We ate a very good fish and chips, accompanied by one of the best British beer, the "London Pride". the food was cooked well and in good portions.

Visited here twice recently. The first time it was just for a coffee but the second we decided to eat here . Had an amazinf fish finger sandwich and some fries. lots of places to sit inside and outside underneath umbrellas. A little oasis on the outside of Regents Park. The pizzas looked good, freshly made in an oven.

I stopped to eat here before going to the open air theatre. I had the beetroot flatbread. Ok. A little dry. Too many radishes. The restaurant tables are well worn and need to be replaced.

We went on a Saturday hoping for brunch after a nice walk but they stopped serving it at 11:30 am which is early for a weekend compared to many other places. Settled therefore for lunch. Somewhat limited menu and long queue to place your order at the bar once you find your own numbered table. Very noisy with loads of noisy children running all around. Food was very good though. Husband had pizza - very fresh delicious dough but little meat and four tiny tomatoes on it. I had chicken flatbread dish -delicious. Best suited for families with children.

We wanted a nice meal on a hot Sunday afternoon and this place was perfect. Firstly we could sit inside and get some shade. Send the food was varied and very high quality. Pizzas were as good as I've tasted anywhere.

Visited yesterday with a friend to have a bite to eat before heading to the outdoor theatre. The menu is varied and we both ordered the chicken flatbread with fries. The flatbreads arrived and we were told the fries were on their way, we waited 10 minutes before chasing the waitress for the fries, approximately 5 minutes after they arrived. It was very busy and it didn’t seem very clean, there were lots of cakes out in the open and dishes from the kitchen sat out in the open under the hot plate. It’s a shame as the menu is really appealing and the location is ideal.

Otra mujer respondió cuando finalmente logramos obtener su atención, pero también nos sirve con muy mala gracia, apenas nos vio más que el punto en la máquina de tarjeta para realizar el pago. Mujer #1 con la coleta alta que también parecía estar en cargo: Muchas gracias por la experiencia completamente miserable y esos tipos antipáticos; podríamos sugerir respetuosamente un trabajo de servicio al cliente no es para ti? Y quizás algunos cliente básico - formación en servicio para los demás empleados? Que no hay razón para que los clientes/personas sentir tan mal.

Caught up with an old mate. Great spot for a beer esp in summertime. Nice outdoors space to chill out in. Easy to find and well priced. Plenty of eating options as well

This is a nice cafe that does good quality coffee and cake as you would expect from this chain however today it was very busy. They coped and there is loads of seating but it is not pleasant when there are so many people.

My husband and I ate here before we saw Peter Pan at the outdoor theatre. We got sandwiches and chips (fries). My barbeque was tasty. His sandwich was just okay. Our chips were not the best. We sat outside, and that was lovely, being surrounded by trees and flowers. Service was pretty quick.

I went to Regents Bar and Kitchen with my friends as we felt a bit hungry during our stay in the park.

Hamburguesa Vegetal de mi pareja (muy normalito) llegamos a cata de al menos diez minutos antes de mi sandwich de carne. Cuando le expliqué que no era muy amenos de tener comida que llegan tan lejos aparte me recibieron con una excusa defensiva y tono maleducado.

Una bonita cafetería en el entorno perfecto, pero muy mal gestionado, con un servicio muy grosero. El personal es desorganizado y precios aún más elevados de lo que cabría esperar para un café monopolio. park

Probablemente sirve bien la comida y la bebida. Quién sabe realmente. Es en los jardines en el Regent's Park, lo que significa que no puedo tomar una copa o comer allí, a pesar de tener asientos afuera (francamente ridículo para ser sincero).

Excelente ubicación y el personal del bar de trabajador, pero mal dirigido. En una ocasión abrió tarde como cocina no había chef; calidad de la comida varía, dependiendo de que el chef está trabajando; los ingredientes enumerados en el menú no siempre llegan en el plato! Es una pena porque la ubicación y las instalaciones deben hacer una gran experiencia.

This is part of the Benugo chain but the cafes in Regents Park seem to change names. It is a good place to stop if you are walking through the park. Tea is tasty although there is only a small section of cakes. You can sit inside or out and also enjoy an expensive ice cream afterwards.

Visitamos el café en un cálido día de abril (muy caliente por dentro). . . Sentamos y disfrutamos de un brownie y mi amigo tenía una porción de Tarta clements calle. . . ambos deliciosos. Pero el té es el peor que he borrachos. . Media taza de. de agua con una bolsa. El color del té y el gusto de haberte ido lavavajillas. . Me sentí mal, así que tuve que preguntar, ¿quién es el proveedor? La etiqueta sólo tenía una E y té de desayuno inglés escrito. Así que me había sorprendido; cuando el gerente t me dijo que era su propio té! Bien, necesitan algunas lecciones sobre cómo producir una mezcla buena. . . o, simplemente comprar desde consejos Pg quizás? !

11 adultos y 2 niños descendiente en el bar Regent's Park y la cocina para el almuerzo para celebrar el cumpleaños de nuestra hija en ley. Mientras que habíamos hecho una reservación allí era una cuestión de sistema. El personal era excelente. Se dieron cuenta inmediatamente de lo que había ocurrido y comenzó a reorganizar las mesas para nuestro grupo. La comida era excelente y el servicio muy bueno. Sin preguntarnos, han aplicado un descuento generoso. Felicitaciones al equipo de TI pro activa de aproximación. El almuerzo hasta el resto de nuestros días. Gracias! !

Cadena benugo's run este café en Regents Park círculo interior. Recién hechas con corteza delgada - pizzas estilo italiano en hornos de leña, también bueno para visitar para el desayuno. Fish and Chips y recién hechos los palitos de pescado (no cosas congeladas! ! ). Buen menú para niños. Como su desayuno - prueba los huevos benedict o color crema, huevos revueltos (con cebollino picadas en la parte superior - si es que falta entonces pide el chef para poner algunas en; hace toda la diferencia! ). Mucha variedad en el menú para las papilas gustativas de la mayoría de las personas.

Gran lugar donde parar para un desayuno inglés o una pizza en horno de leña italianas (). La ubicación es buena, acogedora, y rodeado de la elegante atmósfera de Regent's Park.

El lugar tenía una comida riquísima, pero la aminaties tanto los hombres y las mujeres los inodoros no eran buenas roto cerraduras urinarios fuera de servicio

Servicio rápido. Fácil de ordenar. Pero la pizza es horrible. Mina fue quemada más allá de creencia.

Perfectly situated in pleasant surroundings we stopped to have some brunch being 11.55. With breakfast menu finishing at 11.30 and lunch not starting till 12.oo our only option was pizza. Whilst waiting in a queue for a while we managed to persuade the girl on the till that at 11.57 she could take an order for salad as it would be 12.00 by the time we paid and submitted order.Sitting outside was preferable until we were swamped by pigeons eager to take any crumb that fell; swooping down and landing on the tables. Once bird poop landed on the table we decamped inside.Finding a table was difficult although 3 were available but reserved. We eventually got a table as our food arrived but watched 5 families turned away from a large reserved table. It was reserved for 12.30. I asked the floor manager why she was still turning people away as it was after 12.30. "They rang to change their arrival time to 12.45" she replied. It was now 12.57!! Paying customers with plates of food were left standing as the reserved tables continued to remain empty.A number of the staff could not answer the most basic of questions as they explained - "no speak English ". The number of staff compounded the sense of chaos in the place. There is a need to rework the order process. 3 times food was brought to our table that was not for us.Lovely location. Food was good. A slice of cake for £4.00 is hideously overpriced so food not value for money. Chaotic service and poor seating. Disappointing.

Not one of Benugo's better places - food very average and expensive for what we had. Convenient for the Open Air Theatre but the food in the theatre cafe is better.

So, popped in for breakfast but stopped serving at 1130, fair enough I'll have an early lunch. Lunch menu doesn't start until mid day but offered a pizza instead after taking payment for something off the lunch menu which I couldn't have!!! Sorry guys, nice location but you gotta get your act together.

After a long walk in the park, we went to this restaurant near queen's garden. Nice outdoor sitting facility. we noted our table number, placed order for vegetarian breakfast, and went to sit outdoor. It was quickly served, with a nice coffee. Decent atmosphere. Love to go again.

This is in a really lovely location with a nice decor, with quick and attentive staff and we couldn't fault our breakfast. Really lovely place.

We had flat whites with soya milk at no extra cost. There was also free water from dispensing vats to the left of the coffee dock. The cakes looked too exposed to the public and expensive. We sat outside as it was a lovely day. The service was a little slow.

good quality of cappuccino and nice sitting tables with a beautiful view inside Queen's Mary gardens!

Have been here loads of times and normally good, this time was busy, didn't think our pizza was that great more like a cheap one from supermarkets this time, salad what sad looking , the male who brought our food which was slow in arriving was not helpful didn't get sauces for us, at all our food came In Stages ,because some has to be ordered from out side,one of us had finished 10 min before the rest of the food turned up including chips for the meal ordered out side
