I don’t normally write reviews but the service we received from Olga tonight was well worth the time. She went above and beyond to make our experience special and personalised! She catered to our every need and had we had absolutely no complaints with her service. If only everybody could be this enthusiastic about their work!’

Cold sausage roll is how it comes but when you order a sausage roll normally safe to assume it is hot. Ok place but not really suited for lunch

Food was lovely, and the staff were so friendly. Definitely recommend! The fish and chips were beautiful and the other people I was with recommended the Roast!

Food is ok but the service is too slow!

Hot and busy but lovely and old

Go for the wonderful architecture and great beers. Only one stressed bar-person behind the bar when we went, so service was slow.

Good music Good vibes Good people It is a lovely pub with cask (real) ale playing punk rock music on a Friday night open until 2am when we went.

Pleasant little old school boozer

Not much to the atmosphere when you walk in but it is in a great location. It is right in the heart of Camden Market, along the Camden Lock. We weren’t wowed when we walked in but were hungry and looking for food. I had been drinking their beer at pubs around the UK since I arrived two weeks ago, so I wanted to try their brewery. Although not wowed by the atmosphere of the place, the food was fantastic. They don’t have a kids menu but I got the Cotswold fried chicken, without the hot sauce, for my 4 year old daughter and it was amazing. My wife and I shared the fish and chips and it was probably the best we’ve had since we’ve been here. The only hiccup was that a lot of the cocktails on their cocktail menu contained Beefeater Gin but they were out of Beefeater Gin and they couldn’t, or wouldn’t, substitute another of their gins in the cocktail, so half their cocktail menu was unavailable. That being said, I wouldn’t come here for the atmosphere or cocktails, there are better spots you can have a drink overlooking the Camden Locks, but if you’re hungry, definitely come for the fish and chips or the Cotswold Fried chicken. Based on the quality of these two dishes, their kitchen definitely know what they are doing and you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Food was great - portion, tase - all was there all what you need after a long day

Friendly staff and the food was the best we had in while in London. Fish and chips were phenomenal. The mac and cheese was the best I’ve ever had. Sticky toffee pudding was ah-mazing!!

We visited on our family trip to London. Great atmosphere, traditional London pub. Attentive staff, very helpful and thoughtful, made us feel really welcome. The food was beautiful and delicious, dinner and desserts. Highly recommend.

We ordered two fish and chips, one with cod and one with haddock. Both were very fresh and tasted very good. Very generous portions, very good tartar sauce. Small downside on the fries which were very white... Top service and very good fish 👍🏼 I recommend!
