Lovely little find, will definitely be back. Staff were very good, friendly and welcoming. Had a really nice vibe about it.

Brilliant hidden gem of a pub in London West end we had a few drinks and a meal before we saw Mrs doubtfire in shaftesbury theatre opposite the pub so brilliant option for a pre show meal and drink and post theatre drinking. The pub had a laid back atmosphere so felt very relaxed the menu is pub classics which where very tasty I had the sausage and mash and my girlfriend had a vegan curry due to intolerance to glutin and dary it was clearly indicated on the menu. The Guinness is very good and you get a nice picture on top my girlfriend was drinking the house red wine the two drinks where around £12/13 and I paid around £33 for the two meals including service charge for London prices I thought the prices were very fair and under the average. I would strongly recommend a visit

We ordered the baked dipping camembert cheese to start and 2 of the steak ale and pot pies. We waited over half an hour for the starter to arrive and within 30 seconds the mains also turned up which did not allow us any time to eat the starter. The camembert was not creamy and soft like I've many times before and can only assume it was not cooked through properly. The 2 pot pies came with a very high puff pastry on top and looked impressive, but under the top was very disappointing, there was lots of insipid looking meat, but it was not tender and almost chewy. The color of the gravy of each pie was different, flavors were different and virtually tasteless (not a rich ale flavor we were expecting). There were 2 people serving and were taking it in turns to serve behind the bar, take orders, deliver food to the table and clear up, which was not working out too well. Very disappointed in the overall experience here.

Very cold day, pub very warm and inviting. Plenty of seating. Food was very tasty, hot and arrived in good time. Will definitely be back again.

We stayed at the nearby travellodge. We visited to have just drinks and also visited to have a meal. Great atmosphere great service and tasty food. Will definitely be back next time in london

This was a great spot to get a good hearty meal on Drury Lane. The staff were friendly and efficient, and I seemed to be one of the first few customers in for an early lunch. I had the fish and chips and later got some ice cream. Maybe a little pricey for portion sizes, but can't complain for London as both were delicious. The pub seemed cosy and had a great atmosphere and a wall in near the tables with some memorabilia, which was quite interesting for me as a thaetre buff. I can't complain too much at all :)

Came here today for my sister’s 40th. The food was fantastic, great portion sizes and value for money. Staff were very friendly and attentive, the pub has a great atmosphere and I think that’s greatly down to speed and friendliness of the staff. I will definitely be returning next time in London.

The pub offers a real feel-good atmosphere! We were here for lunch, the food was really delicious. In the evening it must be very fun as there is a dance floor and a DJ booth. The staff is very relaxed and friendly.

Lively at night. And, beeing a tourist myself I guess, not too many tourists. Very friendly and helpful people behind the bar. Serving the best St Austell IPA ‘Proper Job’ I’ve tasted this week in London. I never got into eating there so I can’t jugde that, but a few signs outside look promising. To be recommended!

I LOVED my first ever Sunday Roast at this cozy establishment. Not only was the food super yummy and the Guiness came as per my request with two dollops of syrup (yes I am one of those) but our special day became even more special as I noticed a funny foam art on top of the Guiness head - to my surprise and delight. I added some pictures to share my 'ooh' moment here. Even more delightful was Christof, who came in announcing that they could take a photo of us and print it out (edible vegan ink) on our foam top as well and of course we went for it! Definitely pleased this is where we chose to spend this beautiful Sunday - thank you Christof and team White Hart!

We’ve been turned away for wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh. When we asked why the manager at the door said “we don’t allow political stuff”. We just wanted to have a drink; nothing else. Very sad, very sad indeed. This is not the London I know.

Amazingly friendly pub , clean and excellent drinks very well kept beer thanks to the Polish chap who told us about his cellar , a lot of effort goes into making draught beer and lager perfect. Brill. Food looked good too .

This pub was dead on a Sunday afternoon. One patron was reading a book. So it’s good if a quiet calm time is what you’re after. The bartender wasn’t friendly and they don’t offer and gluten free beer or cider. Snoozefest.

Lovely cosy pub. I visited last night and had a wonderful experience. Live DJ and great atmosphere. Unfortunately I never caught her name but I was served by a lovely lady who was very helpful and chatty. Congrats to her for graduating from kings. The shots were a good price and the Guinness had a very funny logo. Would recommend this place to anyone thinking of visiting the area

Stopped by for a quick lunch with a friend - food was ready within 15 minutes. It wasn’t very full so it was easy to get a seat. Staff interaction was minimal.

The bartender sprayed soda water in my cask ale which I think may have been off.

Absolutely loved coming in for a drink! My friends and I came for a drink while waiting for a theatre performance - Jess was so fun & entertaining & she printed a picture of my friends & I on our Guinness’s - never seen before - super cool!!

Visited this pub for lunch on our last day in London, and it was a perfect end cap to our trip! The staff was very friendly without being over the top, they were accommodating to the kids, bringing out colored pencils and paper for them, and the food and drink were exactly what we wanted. My husband tried the Sunday Roast Beef dinner, and it was excellent, and I tried a bit as well, and wished I'd ordered that instead of my Greek salad... the salad was good, but I really wish I'd gotten the Sunday Roast!!

Good food and drinks, coffee can be improved. I asked for hot milk, but they couldn't re-heat. The bar staff wasn't friendly, a bit slow aswell.

A great pub with great service , but the best thing about it is the doorman Godfrey from Uganda . An absolutely lovely man who is kind and gentile to all, even the tipsy youngsters . 10/10

Friendly staff. Good food at reasonable prices for London. Ideal place to eat if you are going to the Shaftesbury Theatre as it's just down the road.

Called in last week to watch the football on tv. Staff were very friendly and the pub had a decent atmosphere. Due to the odd lay out of the building it’s not easy to watch the tvs if you’re not there early. Decent choice of beers and definitely a place I’d call back to.

Advertised as the oldest licensed premises in London but you certainly wouldn't know when entering. Characterless decor and music has ruined what should be a fantastic venue. On the plus side the member of staff that served me was very friendly and pleasant and the prices weren't too ridiculous. Staff get it the 3 stars for their excellent attitude to customers and dogs!!

Great pub with lovely food. All the staff were really nice but a shout out to Nathan. We visited a few times while staying at the travel lodge down the road. Would definitely recommend

We really enjoyed the Sunday Roast Beef dinner! This was our first meal in the city after long flights and travel and it did not disappoint! You will not walk away hungry…the portions are very generous. The roast beef was very tender and the cheesy cauliflower was wonderful! The staff were very kind and ready to make us comfortable! Great spot for a nice beer and comfort food!

An absolute gem to find in the centre of London. Has a wonderful, unpretentious, community feel. All the staff are so lovely and friendly, you can't fault them. Some tasty, classic pub grub is available and they put on some fab events. Their Fri & Sat DJ nights are particularly good - dancefloor space and music continuing until 2am. Just brilliant!

Ther is on decent mamber of staff (assistant manager?) but the rest, including the manager are ignorant, stupid gen-z who don't know that they don't know how to do bar work. Mediocre overpriced food.

English pub, traditional, home-made cuisine, served on Sundays, unfortunately no pies or jacked potatoes (maybe because it's Sunday?), and fish and chips lacking a little crispiness. For the rest, a large and rather bright place, which contrasts with the usual pub atmosphere. Fair prices, friendly service, background music, without being thunderous. Good beer of course.

Lovely pub close to London theatres and Covent Garden. Has a great, reasonably priced menu and nice atmosphere.

Really good dinner. Very peaceful if an early eater like we are. About 5pm the place was very attentive and food came quickly. Good variety of food and it was all very good. Highly recommend.

This is an interesting pub. I was there at 16.30 on a Monday afternoon so it was not too busy. The bar staff were very friendly and prices very reasonable for the area (double Makers Mark, £9.80). They had a limited range of draft beers including 2 cask ales. They also had 2 cocktails on tap. They have many events including quiz nights, open mic nights and a DJ (Friday and Saturday nights until 2am). They do say that they are the oldest licensed pub in London, not sure I agree with that. Certainly a nice pub, but I am guessing the clientele differs during the day.

Little gem in Covent Garden. We went there for Sunday roast with zero expectations and what a lovely surprise it was! . Delicious vegetarian roast, very good kids options in a very laid back atmosphere.

I love to visit The White Hart. There are no TV's, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good, and tasty. Their Sunday Roasts are fabulous.

Didn't have food. The beers were fine although Neck Oil seems to be the get out for having a craft ale on the list.

I’ve never eaten here and it’s on my to do list. However I occasionally drink here Saturday evenings as it’s open late and it’s one of the few places I can get served quickly due to plenty of efficient bar staff. I also visited here New Year’s Eve which was a delight! Music was slightly on the low level side for dancing, however it was refreshing to be able to chat easily and the atmosphere was very good.

A good traditional pub near Covent Garden. It gets busy at lunchtime. Friendly staff and decent beer. Didn't eat, so can't comment on the food.

Was ok at first , we booked a christmas meal at £19.95 looked great when it came out, brussel sprouts were like bullets, couldn't poke fork in them or they would have shot across the table, roasties were cooked, but looked anaemic. Then came the sweet, we ordered chocolate log, with cream. For £6.95 a slice of log was over the top, the piece I got was half of a slice, I pointed it out to the waiter, and got told that it was the way it came out , my friends piece was a full slice, but swamped in cream, as was my half of a slice, cream should have been put in a small pot or jug I asked for another full slice, but was refused, he told us he'd take 10% off the bill.... he could of easily gone and got another slice. Will not return here! Oh... so 10% taken off .... then we got the bill and 12% tax was already added , which was really cheeky, considering the service we got.. very pricey......my bill was £44.85 with a drink, and cup of tea...

Great staff and food great place to relax

Very poor experience, I have been here a couple times with my partner before and had no issues yet when I tried to come here with my Asian friend the bouncer said no and refused us entry but proceeded to give no explanation as to why. He then also let two white people in right after, yet still refused to give us a reason.

Group of 9 of us , firstly the waiter really didn’t know the menu that well . Was told the vegan sausage meal was all vegan but it wasn’t when it came out came with dairy mash sent back to be replaced with chips . Came back very quickly the sausages still had mash on them ! One of us went to the bar , lady server sneezed didn’t wash hands . Not once offered drinks at table . Not cleared, plates with us till we left . But on the plus side the fish was nice . Bangers and mash doesn’t come with any type of veg and no option to purchase any . Overall not very good . Please train your staff . Then 14.80 service I don’t so .

Just want to say a massive thank you for the amazing support we had from the staff on Monday for our friends 60th birthday celebration. We felt welcomed and supported from the moment we walked through the door at mid-day, till filtering away after six. The staff were always attentive without being intrusive. Good, varied, food for 15 coming out the kitchen, piping hot, at the same time, must have taken some doing! For a busy central London Pub it has to take 5 Stars

Be warned. Me and friends went here after an NFL game as it's across from the stadium. I brought 3 beers wasn't told a price and the card reader was held at an angle I did not see. When I checked my bank I was charged £36 yes that's £12 a beer £4 more than in the stadium. £12 for a flat pint in a plastic cup. Once I told my friends we left absolute rid off it's just a standard pub be warned go elsewhere on match day.
