Solo lunch at Inamo, Covent Garden Popped in for a solo lunch and left with mixed feelings. The food was alright — nicely presented but not especially memorable. Service genuinely excellent throughout. That said, the overall atmosphere was lacking. The space felt quite dark and a bit grotty; it could really benefit from some well-placed wall art or anything to lift the mood. Without it, the place just feels a bit flat. One thing I found a bit cheeky was the charge for using the interactive tables (which i only used to order my food)— I suppose it’s no different from restaurants that charge a cover, but still, it caught me off guard. All in all, a decent stop if you’re curious, but probably not somewhere I’d rush back to.

For a sushi restaurant there is little to no sushi. For £45 for the bottomless food you would expect high quality, tasty food with decent portions of fish. However, they do not serve any sushi with fish whatsoever. The nigiri they serve has the tiniest slice of fish on top of a ball of rice. Most of the other food was cold or completely soggy and clearly had been reheated. The food is not fresh or tasty. The system they have on the tables is very poor and doesn’t work properly and it turned off completely multiple times and took a while to reboot, meaning we couldn’t order food and left hungry due to the time span of the all you can eat. Additionally, the music was far too loud and there was a club on the floor above meaning we couldn’t talk with each other. Overall, this was an extremely poor experience clearly aimed at being a novelty, and was a large waste of money.

Good food and fast service. Worth bearing in mind that you are charged a “technology use” fee on top of service charge (despite having no choice but to use the technology). It is also odd to charge for service when it is all done through the screens. I bought an unlimited/bottomless experience but there were those two additional charges on the day which was a shame because I’d already paid a lot. The “bottomless sushi experience” doesn’t actually include very much sushi - mainly hot dishes. Was disappointing to not be eating the sushi I’d planned to eat. Lots of the items also cost extra ontop of the prepaid experience. It all seemed be try underhanded. As I say food was good and came very quickly. Just won’t be returning because of all the hidden catches. Poor way to treat customers and a shame because the food was lovely

Me and my partner came for date night. If you are looking for a place to go come here, couple groups whatever this is the place! Interactive tables so much fun! Food? AMAZING and the drinks kept flowing! Bottomless actual good! Bottomless is hard to come buy, this place? Blows it out the water. 100% recommend. As well must mention Sonu service was incredible made our experience so much better!

Overall food was good and the staff helpful. The concept of interactive tables sounds interesting but not as good as it sounds . Once the dishes are out down there not really responsive and most of it covered. I chose the restaurant as I thought my child would find it fun but couldn't really use it once the food came out. I have been to another branch many years ago and not much has changed. Still just bringing out food randomly and I'm sure not much has changed with the interactive tables. The most annoying part is putting a separate charge on for the upkeep of these screens. It's not like you have a choice as it's the only way to order, it would be the equivalent of a restaurant charging for printing new menus... Also a bit pricey. Overall it was ok and the food all tasted great but wouldn't be in any hurry to go back.

We originally booked for 5.30 but we were ready to eat earlier Sumana was so helpful and managed to get us in earlier. The food was absolutely delicious and couldn’t wait to sample as many of the dishes as we could. We also brought our 9 year old twins for their birthday meal and they thought the interactive gaming table was just the BEST! Great staff very helpful and attentive!

We were very excited about a really varied Asian tasting menu, but the food was overly salty, not cooked well and with none of the beautiful Asian flavours we hoped for. The quality of food has depreciated a lot. We bought on groupon a voucher for myself and my friend . We did the same last year for her birthday. I could honestly say the food quality is not same as last year. Also some dish that we could order last year in rapas and aushi package, were not included this year . With £70+ 12% service charge + additional charge for using the table, you end up paying around £100 for 2 people that did not even enjoy the food. Sadly , I will not go again.

Visited inamo Covent Garden for the 1st time the sushi was to die for I recommend the dragon roll I love my food spicy so my host Sumitra and Subash looked after me and my wife so much. Unfortunately a very disappointing meal. We've been here before so came again when we visited London. Last time we did the bottomless brunch and it was delicious, all the food tasted great and we had a good range of drinks. We had a similar thing this time but in the evening. My partner ordered multiple sushi dishes and was disappointed with the variety of sushi available, and the quality of it. I ordered several Asian tapas and found all of them to taste very sweet and sickly, so much so that I could only have a few bites and then couldn't eat anymore. Everything was too sickly or salty, not fresh or tasteful. So we didn't eat much at all which felt like a bit of a waste. The really negative thing was when I went to use the ladies room, there was no toilet roll or hand towels in the cubicle I went in. So I told the lady on the front desk, who advised she would resolve it. Before we left I went again and when I walked past, the same lady was standing at the entrance desk completely engrossed on her phone. The cubicle still hadn't got any toiletries as she clearly hadn't bothered to restock. Even when I came back upstairs the lady hadn't moved and was still on her phone... On a Saturday night! I raised this with my partner and he said that he noticed some female children had been using the gents toilet for most likely this reason, which is really disappointing. We did raise this with the manager before we left who I am sure did resolve the issue, but we left feeling very disappointed in the food and service we received and won't be returning.

I cannot express how disappointed and angry I am after my birthday dinner at Inamo Covent Garden. This place is a total letdown-overpriced, misleading, and honestly, it ruined what was supposed to be a special night. First off, the whole reason I booked was for their cute easter chicken fried rice dish, which they advertised as available until April 27th. It wasn’t available, false advertising from the start. Then, the food options for the voucher were a joke-mostly just variations of disgusting sour, pickled vegetables that were off with gigantic mounds of rice. The only sashimi option was a "tuna sashimi rose," which sounded nice, but what arrived was just a few sad slices of tuna, nothing like what was promised. When I asked the staff, they admitted they’d just copied and pasted the description from the main menu. So, again, more false advertising. And the tuna itself? Absolutely tasteless. If I hadn’t drowned it in soy sauce, I wouldn’t have tasted anything at all. It definitely didn’t taste like sashimi-grade tuna, which is outrageous given how much they charge per person. The rest of the sushi rolls were 90% rice and barely fresh-sometimes we got a halfway decent California roll, but even those were inconsistent. The avocado was sometimes sour, and the rice was just overwhelming. The beef rolls tasted like day-old Burger King Whoppers. The vegan salmon sashimi was actually foul. The cooked salmon with black bean sauce tasted like it came straight from a grocery store bag, with sauce poured on from a bottle-barely even warmed up, let alone cooked properly. I barely wanted to eat, but since we’d prepaid, I tried to make the best of it. Big mistake. I ended up violently ill in the bathroom for 15 minutes. I’ve never had such a bad reaction to a meal out, and I eat sushi regularly. And that was just the food. The interactive tables, which are supposed to be a highlight, were an absolute nightmare. Every time we tried to play games to lighten the mood, the table would glitch out constantly. For its price this is a complete scam. I left my own birthday dinner hungry, sick, and furious. Do yourself a favour and avoid Inamo Covent Garden at all costs. There are so many better places in London. Don’t come here.

What an anazing find! We did the bottomless menu and it is both bottomless food and drinks. Food selection is very big! You can order some other items with supplementary payment, but honestly, you won't need to! You can change the drinks throughout your stay as well. But what really stood out was an amazing service from Sumana; so attentive even thuough it was a very busy Sat night, very helpful with the menu, quick with drink refills. Good food recommendation. Just overall so welcoming and kind. The interactive table with games and drawing board was a lot of fun too. Will be coming back next month for a girls night out!

To keep it brief: Got the bottomless brunch/drinks option through a gift voucher worth £100. Our experience was worth far less than that. The wine tasted like vinegar. The food options were very limited and only one or two actual sushi options. Majority of menu would have cost extra. Most courses had the quality/taste of take-out fast food. One dish literally made me gag. The hosts on reception kept chatting to each other and practically ignored us for a good while when we got there. Equally, completely ignored us when we left. Yes the interactive tables are interesting but wouldn't sync up if seated opposite your company, 2 player games only work side by side, rendering them pointless unless there's 4 of you. Also, very annoying to order on. Music jarringly loud like a nightclub. Honestly, there are so many quality Asian/sushi choices in Central London- don't let this place be yours.

Unfortunately we have nothing good to say about our experience at Inamo restaurant. I brought my Japanese wife here hoping to give her a familiar taste from home. We chose the ‘Unlimited Sushi and Asian Tapas for Two’ for nearly £200. This menu didn’t allow us to order unlimited sushi, the choices were a list of ‘Asian fusion’ dishes, not Japanese at all. The menus were difficult to understand and food is ordered from a tablet. When we ordered sushi - we were told off for ordering from the wrong menu. Service was slow and very unenthusiastic. We could hear staff longing for their shifts to end. The interactive game tables didn’t work. At the end of our allotted time period, it felt like a slap in the face to be handed such an expensive bill and to be leaving the restaurant so hungry. You can get much more authentic sushi from ASDA. Made to order, fresh, and a fraction of the price compared to here. Don’t ruin your evening by choosing to eat at Inamo.

What we didn’t know is that they charge £1.25 each just for using the tables, in addition to the service charge! Seems crazy considering this is one of the main reasons people come to the restaurant. Overall found it very underwhelming and set up just to get tourists on a busy day. Would not recommend.

Went here for my daughters 16th birthday. Food was underwhelming. First we had to send one back as it was cold. It was clear it was just fast food reheated in microwaves. But then they forgot a dish, we had to ask several times for it. They then brought out the missing dish, which was wrong. Eventually they bought out the correct dish after we'd all finished eating. The waitress really made no effort to engage or apologise. Then had the absolute gall to charge us an automatic service charge of 12.5%!!!! No chance of me paying that. Plus without telling you in advance, or communicating it to you, they put an extra fee on top of the bill for a "tech licence" because the menu is on a screen on the table?!?! When I complained about this and asked why I wasn't told I was informed they wrote it on their website somewhere - what a joke. Seemed like a good idea to visit but I wouldn't go back. So many better sushi places with great food in London and staff that care - avoid this place. The games are crap, basic and not worth the fuss TBH - it was like PC games from from the 90's or the first mobile phones. Overrated.

We went for the bottomless brunch on Saturday 5th April. The food was great with a decent selection. Our waiter was very good also (He said his name was Khan so thank you Khan for your great service). There was one lady who was a little aggressive 15 mins before the end of our slot (they stop serving you food and drink 75 mins into the sitting so it’s not actually a 90 minute bottomless brunch but 75 minutes). She slapped down the bill and told us our “time was up”. We hadn’t even seen her for the whole time we were there. We were aware of this process from a previous visit so it wasn’t as much of a shock as last time. Also worth noting that, although we were using a Time Out voucher and therefore had pre-paid, they put a tip on the value of the whole amount of food and drink you order also so can add quite a bit on. Despite this, it is still a great bottomless brunch and worth it for the great food and atmosphere overall and Khans great service.

The choices available to me were very limited, only 2 choices of sushi rolls , couple of salmon dishes- one was so salty it was inedible and a few vegetable choices. If you want a bigger variety you have to pay for them. Very expensive drinks. Again very limited. It took ages for someone to come over and explain what to do and how to order. The food didn't taste fresh at all, seemed like it had been sitting around a while. The comedy was great! Enjoyed that very much!

Two lovely ladies looked us after very well.They never leave our glass empty. Prosecco was toped us and even asked me if i wanted to change the drinks. Definitely recommend to other and i will be back soon. Games were fun too. How quickly time passed by.

Lovely pub. Excellent beer. Nice to see a proper London pub in the area, where you don't feel pressured to eat.

Tried out the Prix-Fixe menu and it was honestly excellent. Every course was tasty and well put together - great value too The cocktails were a real highlight, so creative and delicious Shoutout to Hannah for the amazing service - friendly, helpful and made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend checking it out!
