Great pub with great staff, especially Gwen who looked after us (group of 12 guys) so well. We sat outside in the garden which was lovely in the sunshine.

Food was bad. Disappointed. Under cooked chips & slaw made of browning veg that seemed days old. Had to ask for normal condiments.

I've recently starting going to the Garden Gate on a regular basis. The cask beers are consistently excellent: well kept and well poured. My favourites are Tribute and Proper Job, which appear on rotation. The staff are always very polite, efficient and friendly. I'm writing this review after an evening visit with my two sons and godson (late teens/early 20s). We sat in the huge, bustling garden area, which has recently had a classy refurb. We had haddock and chips (crispy batter, flaking soft flesh and skin-on fries) and an Instagram-worthy cheeseburger. Gone in 60 seconds! Shout-out to our server, Erin, who was quick with both service and clearing our plates so we could relax with another pint before heading home. Weekend visitors will love its proximity to Hampstead Heath and the Overground train station, but I'm a midweek local and it has become my new favourite in the area. I've read some negative reviews from the past and I agree that it isn't cheap - but that's London for you!

My first time coming to the garden gate and Tayahna made it such an enjoyable experience, really looked after me and my friends. Will be coming back

The table was fun to play with. Good experience with the food, drinks and game. My wife loved the prosecco. Sangita was very helpful with the table explaining and ordering. Will back soon again.

Bang bang cauliflower was the best, everyone should try this one. All the food we had were great of taste and such a lovely environment. Not to mention, we went for the interactive table which turn out to be fun. We were more focused on playing then eating. Tasty food and great customer service. I took my sister out for her birthday, it was a wonderful experience with all of the staff making big efforts. I want to thank Sumitra imparticular for making it a special lunch.

We recently had lunch at Inamo and being served by Chetna. The service was excellent—Chetna was attentive, and made our experience truly enjoyable. The food was good, with fresh sushi and nicely presented dishes. Overall, a great experience, especially thanks to Chetna's service.

Had the unlimited sushi & asian tapas at Inamo - Covent Garden branch. Food was decent and good selection, not the best I've had - but not bad. Staff called "Sumana" was serving the food was very friendly, helpful, and fast. Very good service.

Honestly not a great experience. I almost certainly got food poisoning from the food after narrowing down potential sources. Violently ill for 2 days, most likely from the rice as I am vegetarian. Atmosphere is average and the gimmick of using a touch screen to order is pretty tacky and even cheeky to then still charge service charge. Staff were quite blunt and had a strange manner so just didn't really feel comfortable / have a good time. Wouldn't really recommend

Had a wonderful time in the sun at the garden gate! Big special shout out to the fantastic bubbly bar staff, especially Roberta! Such a gem! Will definitely come back for the great service, drinks and yummy food!

Great food, great concept, after 1h15min we were asked to free up the table for the next guests - awful hospitality ruining a very nice concept in principle, especially given the prices I’d expect better treatment as a customer

Lots of lovely food. We did the Bottomless Sushi and tapas - Great way to try different types of things you wouldn't usually try. Lovely food. Our waitress Sumana was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very good evening!

We went for the unlimited tapas and sushi option and many of the food items advertised you had to pay an extra surcharge for which we were not made aware of when we booked. Great concept, games at the table were fun which made for an enjoyable experience. The food was tasty and it came out fairly quickly however had we known about the surcharges we would more than likely have dined elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing! One of the best bottomless brunches I've done for the experience amd service. My only tiny gripe is maybe that the food is a smidge salty. That could have been an on the day thing. Maybe the chef on was a bit heavy handed with salt or MSG maybe. But otherwise it was stunning.

Welcoming nice food, seamed like the restaurant could do with a little bit of a update on the walls.

The menu system is an interesting idea implemented poorly. The complex restrictions around what is and isn't included make the experience less smooth than if they had a normal menu system. The food was fine. Staff gave conflicting instructions about ordering drinks from the menu or if we should verbally tell wait staff what we wanted to drink.

Amazing service and ambience. I originally booked Sushi Samba for my daughter birthday and they were asking for almost £1000 deposit which I found absolutely ridiculous. I then looked at Inamo which was £10 per person which is so reasonable. Food and service was both great and the interactive tables was a big hit for the kids! A special shout out to Dhruv who was so helpful with our orders and booking. Our time ran out for the table but he managed to accomodate our group and enjoy our evening Thank you Dhruv and everyone at Inamo so glad I booked here instead of @sushisamba

Disappointed and let down. "We thank you in advance for your generosity". We had a PRE-PAID gift voucher for Unlimited Sushi and Tapas and our Opt-In by **default** SERVICE CHARGE doubled the price we were to pay from 15.9 GBP (for two drinks outside of the deal and some additionals) to 29.38 GBP. I believe the service charge was based on our already pre-paid meal to which there should be NO expectation of additional charges. This did not feel fair, and resulted in confusion and awkwardness when having to decline such a charge. I will not be coerced into paying money outside of the agreed terms. Food: We have been to Inamo 3-4 times now, and the food quality has dropped. Not only has it dropped but the pre-paid meals have since changed the available dishes so that you're restricted to what I can honestly say is a bland or poor combination of food. Not only do you have few sushi options on "unlimited sushi" but the Tapas options are fairly bland, overly seasoned, or just miss the mark with flavour. It is because of these restricted menus that you feel that it is necessary to upgrade and purchase items that USED to be included in your deal. We purchased a few things but felt let down by the food we had once enjoyed. By the end of our meal, we just wanted to get out and wash down what we had. Service: As mentioned above, we were not expecting a service charge to double what we had to pay from the few things we purchased outside of our deal. Regarding the actual service, it felt more like we were caged with constant check-ups from multiple waiters and we could not just simply relax and enjoy what little there was to enjoy of the food. That being said, why are we paying a service fee to begin with? It's a TIP and I would encourage people to fight back against the changing landscape as fees given to you without your knowledge is what I'd call disrespectful. This isn't America, so I have no idea why we're now getting their tipping culture. The final note is, this place has lost two returning customers. Our first assessment of this place was that it was great but every return has only led to more let downs. Would strongly urge people to not buy others gift vouchers for this place as the money can be used for better experiences elsewhere. Goodbye Inamo.

Booking with vouchers was a rough experience. Place is dirty and draggy dull. Food was boxpark style, big portions, fake taste covered with mediocre sauces. Vegetarian really not classy. Games were great. Come again? Nope.

This is the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in years. Sushi tasted like it came out of the freezer. Service was awful and staff were unfriendly. Screens barely worked and we could only play single player. Extremely overpriced gimmicky restaurant. Do not come here

Afternoon Tea booked for a Birthday Celebration. Front of house representative was really attentive. Food was mediocre. The service was poor. Although we used the automated call waiter feature, no one attended to us. We only were given attention when we managed to ask a waiter passing by our table. However, when we requested the bill, the waiter was oh so attentive at that point. We won’t be returning.

Not gonna lie the food was kind of average/mediocre but its kind of expected from an all you can eat. The 'interactive' tables made the experience feel slightly quicker as there was something to do between the waits for food. However, As soon as I entered the door I saw a small rat scurrying near the entrance! We still decided to eat there though but a rat is concerning. Also, we were very much pressured to giving 5 stars to the experience, I gave a 5 star review 11 months ago when I visited because the waitresses would not stop mentioning it. The service was just about average It was nice to check out but I would not go there again.

Table top computer ordering which is very quick and games etc to play while you eat. We had the 1.5 hours to eat anything on that menu deal. Food excellent, our 3rd visit so far. Staff very good too.

The interactive tables were a first and hopefully not a last! I only had the chicken katsu roll which was great, but I was with a group of 6, so I heard great words from everyone!

Amazing customer service, our waitress Sumana made us feel very welcome. As a vegan I felt very well looked after, and they even checked which wine was vegan friendly. The interactive tables made a very fun and ubique experience. We came for the bottomless brunch and our glass was always full.

Great food and our server Babita was really nice. Had some issues using our voucher but it was resolved by the manager with no hesitation. 100% recommend x

Had a voucher for 3 people, they booked us for 8pm and didn’t mention that the unlimited shushi is only valid until 8.30pm. No mentioned when booking or anything. Bill came out to £145 which we didn’t pay as we had the vouchers, drinks were around £30. The crazy things is we expected to pay just for the drinks. They charged us service charge for the entire bill which amounted to £30. That's a first for a below average food and place with little to no service!! Don't waste your money here!!

Staff are lovely, explained everything so well with the digital table - we had the unlimited option. Everything was so tasty! Nice atmosphere, not rushed at all, excellent value for money. Worst sushi I ever had in my life and incredibly limited menu choices, sushi from Tesco is probably better than what they serve at Inamo Covent Garden. Very confused by the positive reviews, unsure if these people know what sushi is meant to taste like. The only positive note of the meal was the lovely service from Chetna. We won't be back.
