Didn't eat but the food looked good. Barstaff were friendly, it was quiet but we sat outside and enjoyed Camden in the late afternoon. Nice

Just had drinks there, location is good and staff friendly. Only thing I found very strange is there’s a man in the toilet who sits there insisting on washing your hands and begging for money. Very strange and made us feel quite uncomfortable!

Came here first time early last year with then-boyfriend for late evening drinks before returning to our long-distance relationship back then. We exchanged ring pops, had Hugos and white wine. The next time we were there it was closed off for a private function, but we weren't deterred and was just there a day ago, now married! And it was nice reminiscing over beers, cocktails and hummus. Nice crowd, great views, a balcony/terrace-like sanctuary above and away from the main Camden Market, you can view the excitement from a good perch! There are heaters, too! The servers were really nice to chat with and were efficient with their service. We'll keep coming back here to remember our own moments, but it's also because it's such a great place to dine and take a break at. Thank you!

You have to go to the bar to order! The meal arrives cold and the worst part is you pay £12.80 for service! And I think I'm going to go to McDonald's! The quantities are not adapted to the price.

Not much to the atmosphere when you walk in but it is in a great location. It is right in the heart of Camden Market, along the Camden Lock. We weren’t wowed when we walked in but were hungry and looking for food. I had been drinking their beer at pubs around the UK since I arrived two weeks ago, so I wanted to try their brewery. Although not wowed by the atmosphere of the place, the food was fantastic. They don’t have a kids menu but I got the Cotswold fried chicken, without the hot sauce, for my 4 year old daughter and it was amazing. My wife and I shared the fish and chips and it was probably the best we’ve had since we’ve been here. The only hiccup was that a lot of the cocktails on their cocktail menu contained Beefeater Gin but they were out of Beefeater Gin and they couldn’t, or wouldn’t, substitute another of their gins in the cocktail, so half their cocktail menu was unavailable. That being said, I wouldn’t come here for the atmosphere or cocktails, there are better spots you can have a drink overlooking the Camden Locks, but if you’re hungry, definitely come for the fish and chips or the Cotswold Fried chicken. Based on the quality of these two dishes, their kitchen definitely know what they are doing and you wouldn’t be disappointed.

This burger was £15.95 . Barely one step up from MacDonalds . Four of the draft beers were unavailable.The two stars are for the polite service .

Terrible service by the security guy at 13h35 on 6th October. He was so rude to one of the guys in our group, that we decided to leave without ordering..

Great place to visit and enjoy a beer while you watch the world go by in the market below. Would have stayed for the free DJ but only had time for a beer.

A chillaxin location that let's you watch the day go by. You will love the fish n chips and the reason we stayed so long was not only the Neck Oil but the great service from Charlie and Tom. Hospitality plus plus thanks to these two. Their mums would be proud 👏

The bar is lovely and nice location, but throughout our night I had three drinks of mine that were not even half way emptied picked up by staff and taken away as if those drinks were finished. The first one that noticed was missing I just bought another one and the 2nd a mate of mine got me another but by the 3rd I had to go up and say something, I got two drinks back. The funny thing as well is I watched it happen to my friend to and the lady just put it on the bar where they put glasses to be cleaned, clearly loads in the glass told me friend and she had to go pick it up. I feel like if it's not emptied or the staff hasn't asked anyone if it's finished they shouldn't be picking up people's drinks that they have paid for. Other than that the bar is good with a good vibe but that has put me of as that has never happened to me anywhere

A pub that serves food should never have toilets in that state. Utter disgrace. Perhaps a cleaning rota? Perhaps even cleaning them might help. I would never eat there.

Nice place to sit outside, good selection of drinks. Cocktails were nice too. Toilets were a bit ropey, though 😬

Utterly terrible food. Niçoise salad with tinned peas and a slab of tuna greyer than the sky today. The only GF option on the menu. Totally inedible. Refunded without question, but this should never had made it out of the kitchen. I’d avoid this place if I were you.

Wonderful location. Live music and super friendly bar man. I wanted Slimline tonic which they didn't have so I asked for soda water. The barman gave it on the house

Great place in the heart of Camden. Home of Camden ale so was a must to visit. Only went in for drinks but staff were great especially their spicy Margarita. From what we saw on the tables, if you're going after 4pm book early to avoid disappointment. Being in the place, you can see why they get booked out. Go experience it, you won't regret it!

Terrible customer service, I was waiting outside to have a beer since they don't let in food from the market, which is fine and logical, but it turned out that I couldn't even be outside the premises!! As there is always one tourist over another, the treatment is basically like prison!

Pretty scammy to charge £7 entry when it was £5 an hour ago and the lady with a horrible attitude telling you can’t go and check the party while the others stay back! Ridiculously boring party and that snobbish woman needs to go 👎🏻

Went there for a date and they had “a special night event” pay entry £7 per person no tables to seat at although they say on their website there is a terrace, this was closed. Had to stand next to the bar with a bottle of wine and people bumping into as cheap music was playing through their cheap music speakers. Will never go back there

Service was extremely lacking. We waited 15 minutes to order when there were over 3 workers not doing anything but walking back and forth from one end of the bar to another. Bartender was chatting and taking with another bartender instead of finishing our drinks, and took several breaks to continue their conversation when I just ordered a spritz and one cocktail. I don’t know what happened to service, it used to be so lovely.

thought it would be lovely as it’s a view by the canal, food was okay, the downside is that when we entered, it was immediately too loud. as my child was charging their phone, and we had no idea the music turned off. he had autism so i had to, and he’s a bit disabled. they came over and said ‘that’s to plug the DJ in’ when she could’ve been nicer about it, left my son crying. but dome staff are okay. i am not the one to complain, but i think there should be where if someone is sensitive about noise, please don’t have musics. won’t be coming here again unless improved!

Came here for ESCP Farewell party. Most of the food served which was fried was undercooked and thus unedible (for eg the onion bhajis). Service was good given the high volume of people but the food quality is unexcusable.

Charged me service charge when ordering a small plate at the bar. Before that, they put service charge when ordering 4 pints, also at the bar. They shouldn't put service charge when people order at the bar, they are not providing table service so why make me pay a tip???? And also service charge on drinks???? Nope, never coming back here.

Candem town is truly crazy with people, places to eat, places to buy the most unusual, vintage and also just old things. In this joint, if you find a place to sit, you can eat and drink decently.

Delicious schnitzel I had there a week ago, good selection of beers and ipa's, nice atmosphere and overall good experience. Staff very friendly. Will be back for sure when next time in Camden!

The bar was very nice, looking across Camden Market. Had the hot chicken wings with stilton sauce, very nice. Good selection of beers, Camden Devil very nice. Some criticisms, they add an optional service charge of 12.5% to your bill but don't tell you. Also the male toilet floor was soaking wet, it wasn't water.

We had to go and order alone. No service. Very rude (didn't even look at us when she spoke). I had a lemonade, it had a weird taste that stayed for a long time. Very disappointing.

This is the god damn toxic and poisoned restaurant! I go there with my wife and ordered FISH AND CHIP and SHORT RIB BURGER！ The burger was taste so weird like extremely strange beef smell! After a few hours, we got seriously food poisoning keep vomit and diarrhea! This restaurant ruined my trip! Now the only thing we can do is lying on the hotel bed keep feeling painful from our stomach! Everyone PLEASE READ this comment before you go! I really don’t want you to become me! WASTED A WHOLE DAY TO SUFFER WITH PAIN! Can anyone feel my anger?

Bad customer service. This is special for NYE. Hi Joe, it is my mistake I didn’t explain my opinion about this interview. Apologies, if you understood me wrong. This 1start is for the 1 guy of security who was very rude with me. I arrived exactly at 1:10 am because I watched NYE fireworks. I did the best to arrive quickly. The traffic was terrible I had to catch bus or underground and I had to wait a lot, despite this I arrived for 50-60 min. When I was in front of the entrance the security told me “ I can’t let you in because the last entry was by 1 am. I understood this information from the security not from the Term & Service of the ticket. On the ticket doesn’t had this information. I don’t drink alcohol and I was very kindly. I explained to the security from where I came and took me time to arrive, but the guy was very rude. Yes, he add about the case with the girl and her friends were outside with me, they were very drunk. They, told me about the situation and I understood what’s happened. After, that I wanted to don’t enter and I wanted to speak with some of the stuff about my ticket. I met the manager very quickly. Than, the other security two guys they asked me what’s happened and I explained them. They wanted me let in but I was disappointed to enter because of the first security and I didn’t wanted to watch the case about the girl. I hope she is better.

Came here to see a friend DJ on the terrace. Place has a good vibe and the drink prices aren't terrible. Bar staff is very quick and friendly.

The menu sounded nice, but this was a masterclass in how to cook an awful Christmas meal. Mouldy black raw carrots, completely undercooked roast potatoes and pigs in blankets, packet gravy, and somehow it was worse than that because nothing had any flavour. Christmas pudding was a slab of heated up Christmas cake and custard. The sticky toffee pudding was even worse, the pudding consistency was not so much a sponge but a sort of collapsing mulch of something. It’s really not hard to cook an edible Christmas dinner, unless you’re trying to rip off customers by using the worst/not fresh ingredients and chefs who are not being able to get just basic cooking right.

I've been to this pub with a couple friends on a Saturday afternoon. There was a dj, which gives a nice atmosphere, but it can be a bit loud if you're trying to speak. We didn't habe any food apart from french fried, which were good, and some drinks.

The bartenders are extremely slow to be working a Saturday night. You would think with four people behind the bar that you wouldn't have to wait forty minutes for a beer. And when I first tried to order I was met with a bloody rude response. The rude bartender makes this place seem distasteful now.

Went for a few drinks with friends, we ordered 3 beers. I asked for a receipt. Upon inspecting the receipt I noticed we were charged 12.5% service charge on 3 beers?! I was not made aware of this OPTIONAL charge until I checked the receipt. I wonder how many tourists they have done this too?

My partner and I wandered up at about midday on a Sunday, saw a sign saying we couldn't enter from the side we had, so went back down the stairs, across the courtyard area, and back up the other side. Because we can read instructions. Went up the stairs at the entrance, and the colleague working at the door said they weren't open yet but we could wait, so we did. In that time a truly horrible couple of men entered through the wrong side, then started having a go at this colleague, prompting another member of staff and a security guard to come over to assist them. These men were being so rude, taking photos of the staff etc. simply because they'd been told not to enter from the side they had (where the very readable sign was) and they had to leave. Eventually they opened and we were able to go inside, chatting to the super friendly staff - all of them - on the way. They were grateful for any offers of help we could give with the rude men that had been outside, and honestly, we got the impression that they're used to this sort of attitude from customers. Just because you're a customer, doesn't mean you're right. Maybe try a bit of kindness, politeness, and compassion, and like us, you'll get it back. By the way, the beers were lovely. Jubel in an iced glass? Amazing!

A very unfortunate experience. Been there for lunch with friends. Doors were left wide open all the time so the place was very cold. Very loud music all the time. We ordered beers and food, we got told that all the chefs were in break at the same time (shouldn’t they go in different waves? Maybe different policy for them). We ordered burger and chicken schnitzel, asked to swap the chips for the fries. After waiting 15 minutes for chefs to come back, we get told by the waiter that the kitchen run out of fries so the swap was not possible. Chicken schnitzel arrived in 10 minutes, not the greatest I had in my life, really burnt and too crispy. Missing garlic aioli in one of then, ask at the waiter and brings only regular ketchup and mayo (bottles of condiments left out all the time). We had to wait an extra 15 minutes for the burger to arrive, not given any explanation for this long waiting time. Really disappointed about this.

Nice location, good music and air conditioning on a hot day. Minus for chips which were very dry and burnt, couldn't be eaten. When we complained staff not friendly. They offered new fries but too late when we already finish eating of course we give it back, was embarrassing. Sorry guys but like this you loose customers.

My friends and I were admitted at the venue at 10.45 by security staff with a very sheriff unfriendly attitude. We paid £10 at the door. The party was starting kicking off and more people were waiting to get in. We ordered cocktails at the bar and after 5 minutes a funny litte man stormed into the venue shouting on customers and turned the lights on and kicked everyone out at 11pm. We managed to get full refund for the tickets before leaving but I wouldn't recommend this venue at all.

Yesterday I had a ticket to a gig. Securities were more than rude and didn't let me in because I came after 11pm. Even though the event supposed to be until 3am.

Would leave zero stars if possible. Last night went to a gig yet only 1dj managed to do a full set and another one half a set then the lights were turned on in the middle of the set by a venue manager and we were told that the venue is closed and we need to leave. Security wasn’t letting people in at all. Their excuse was - it’s a private event. We had tickets and we weren’t let in till one of the DJs argued our case with the security. Security was very rude and kept shouting at guests all throughout the sudden closedown. Appalling customer service.

Lovely staff, great pint with a great seating area

The pints were nice however our cocktails seem to contain no alcohol whatsoever. When asked, the bartender told us it was poured from a carton. Very underwhelming, we left not finishing our drinks

Went here today and found one member of the staff to have a real attitude and made my son and I feel very uncomfortable. Won't be going back

Buen sitio para tomar una cerveza... 5 pounds la Guinnes, 4 una Cola. Buenas vistas al Camden Market, mucho ambiente, buena comida, se puede fumar en los bancos que tiene en el exterior. A uno de los costados del bar tienes el canal con sus esclusas y un par de gabarras que te sacan a dar paseos.

The bar itself is fine but I didn't like how the staff at the entrance treated my friends and me. We were coming from the food market and I had a closed box of leftovers with me. I've been told to throw it away or to leave it with them. When I told them I wouldn't eat my own food and asked politely if it was ok to just put my bag and my box under the table instead, the guys started laughing (for whatever reason) and responded in a very cynic and impolite way. I am not complaining about their food policy (it's weird but ok) - it's just that it's a very unpleasant start of your night out when the staff at the entrance makes fun of you in front of your friends.

Loud music venue with a choice view of the local food court. Inside and outside eating. Food menu not your typical pub grub menu but does have a few classics on there.

My favorite place to go on Tuesday night cause they always do Karaoke night every Tuesday and if Guinness is your favorite beer, they do have Guinness!!! 🍻🇮🇪😁

Sadly this was a lowlight to the Camden experience. The barlady started of by saying "dont mind me I never smile". Service was shocking and snail paced. The socalled fire escape was blocked and used by waiters carrying orders. Chefs (in uniform) were walking through the area with lighted cigarrettes. The mens toilets were a total mess and there was no cleaning roster posted in the area. I cannot see myself returning anytime soon.

Terrible experience, bouncer denied entry without giving any reason to. My spouse was going to meet with some friends and felt humiliated because they were letting white people enter but prohibited the entry of two latinos.
