¡Vine aquí por el Domingo de Pascua y tuve un gran asado! Diré, que tomó siglos en venir porque estaban ocupados, pero el personal era nada menos que acomodar e incluso computó nuestro aperitivo. Definitivamente volveré. También tienen juegos de mesa, así que apenas nos dimos cuenta de que nuestra comida estaba tomando un tiempo.

we had a lovely sunday roast for mother’s day and the team here are so lovely, friendly and attentive! the roasts are amazing - highly recommend and if you’re lucky you get to see the pub dogs! 🥰

Great place close to the Euston mainline station, so ideal to meet friends before a journey. Team were lovely and we had a great selection of dishes.

Fish and chips had a weird taste that made them inedible and the chips had a weird taste and were undercooked. At least they refunded me no quibbles. See photo to see how much I ate.

Gran pub que hace un gran Guinness y Murphy y Glen sabe cómo servirlo. No sabía que hacían comida, así que lo investigaré la próxima vez.

Tuvimos una noche realmente brillante en el Dartmouth Arms, la comida era absolutamente deliciosa y el servicio era perfecto - tan atento y amable. No podía recomendar más y espero volver pronto!

Great pub up the hill from Chalk Farm. It’s far away enough from the touristy busyness of Camden, but still nicely walkable to get a more friendly local feel. Staff are friendly and having Mahou on tap is a great bonus. The decor is eclectic and interesting, with a pool table on offer too and live music on certain nights. The food menu of burgers, roasts and a few classics looks good at reasonable prices. Not tried it but will certainly return to do so in future. Worth a little trip up the hill from the main drag.

He estado en este pub un par de veces, pero me sorprendió el trato recibido hoy. Los últimos pedidos fueron llamados a las 11 pm y a partir de las 11 . A la 01 PM el personal de seguridad estaba molestando a la gente para que se fuera de una manera agresiva e intimidatoria. A partir del 11. 05 pm básicamente te amenazan con irte. Como pub que pretende ser un pub británico tradicional pensé que aceptarían el concepto de 10-15 minutos de “tiempo de copas”, pero no, se han convertido en otra copia plástica de las cosas de las que solíamos estar orgullosos. Mantente alejado y busca lugares que demuestren que respetan tanto sus orígenes como a sus clientes.

We have been eagerly anticipating the opening of the Angel since we heard the owner of the Red Lion and Sun was taking it over. Not just because there is a shortage of good restaurants in Highgate but because the Red Lion and Sun is the best by far. We’ve been to the Angel three times already and the service has been very warm and extremely accommodating. We were served by Gary tonight who was very charming and recommended a lovely Malbec to pair with my Wagyu cheese burger. The food is honest pub grub and the cost is reasonable. The wine menu is fantastic and the vibe is quite lively without being too loud. Currently there is no way to book a table but we haven’t had an issue yet. Give the Angel a try, it’s slowly becoming our new regular and we love it.
