Only 1 person at the bar, prices are ridiculous and they add a 15%tip to each transaction without asking you so check before you pay! I tried to query why i paid £41 for 2 g&t’s but the guy just insisted its correct and walked off, i worked out the added tip after I will never go here again!!!!!!

Came here for a Christmas party on the weekend had an absolute blast!! Thank you to the bar staff and security for making it such a pleasant night. Especially my sister was sick and the lady security was so sweet being very patient with us thank you.

Avoid this place at all costs—unless you enjoy chaos and homophobia We booked Sway Bar in London for a birthday party, and it turned into an absolute shambles. To start, we were moved to a different room without warning, leaving us hanging for 45 minutes and losing precious DJ time we had paid for. When we finally got into the new room, the DJ decks didn’t even work, and no one helped us sort it out. More lost time, more frustration. As if that weren’t enough, the one person manning the bar kept wandering off in the first hour, so queues quickly built up. We couldn’t even order bar snacks downstairs to soften the blow of this mess. The real kicker, though, was the behaviour of the bouncers. A guest was thrown out simply for “acting gay,” under the laughable excuse that he was “too drunk.” Let me be clear—he wasn’t. He stood outside, stone-cold sober, for hours just trying to get his jacket back, but they refused. When I spoke up to defend him, I was kicked out too, verbally abused by the bouncers, and my brother—who didn’t say or do anything remotely aggressive—was manhandled by four bouncers and dragged out. It felt less like a party and more like a power trip for the security team. This wasn’t a nightclub; it was a private birthday party. No one had an issue with the “too drunk” guest apart from the bouncers, who seemed determined to ruin the night. I can’t stress enough how unsafe they made me feel. To top it all off, we had to beg to get the deposit back, and it took an entire month for them to cough it up. Sway Bar managed to ruin a special event with unprofessionalism, broken equipment, and outright discriminatory behaviour. Don’t waste your money or your time here—it’s not worth the stress.

Great venue and very pretty. Went to an organised dance event there which was held downstairs. Security was very nice and polite, as so was the lovely receptionist. Felt very welcome and overall great night out.

The security of this site abuse their power. My friend left the club by mistake for a second and they didn't let him back in for no reason, even though he had the bracelet on. A friend tried to talk to them and they took him out of the line and then pinned him down and threw him to the ground between four guards. Terrible service and the supposed manager said that she couldn't do anything about it and that she didn't care what we said.

This place is a scam, don't come, they just take your money.

The most disrespectful people… even when that are doing they job there are way tho say the think in a way they are respectful and they weren’t. So as as over all the music is good but you only have the last picture of the place and in my view is not good.

I haven’t even been to this venue but I got caught in the street party driving through, I’m really surprised this place has a licence and not have police patrolling on the road outside. Party goers were having a street party blocking the road and banging on cars. I felt scared and blocked in. I can’t imagine what it’s like inside full of thugs.

Bouncers are aggressive, rude and handsy (especially the man with the earrings and beard). The staff do not care about people or human rights.

Danger! You only pay for a room and get nothing in return. The entrance fee is too expensive for nothing!

Went here for the Playkrown Twilight Halloween event, encountered by far the rudest and most unprofessional security guard I have ever met in my life, bald headed, short and with Arab features, kicked my friend out for being "too drunk", my "too drunk" friend proceeds to stand completely unaided outside the club for an hour waiting for his lost phone which it turns out one of the bouncers had for some reason. Additionally when I tell him my friend wasn't drunk or a danger to anybody he tells me to "keep my hands off him" despite me not laying a finger on him and showing absolutely no ill intent towards anyone the entire night, a very clear indication he was looking for a fight, the manager I spoke to afterwards - predictably - couldn't do anything about the entire situation and was of no help to me or my friend. All of the other staff I encountered including bar staff who helped me try and find my friends phone and a Somalian security guard who was friendly and made good conversation, were very amicable, helpful and super kind, hence my three star service rating, props to them and I wish them all the best. Society has ZERO USE for thugs like the security guard I encountered on this night, if you are reading this (yuck) I sincerely and from the deepest depths of my heart hope you run into the wrong person one day, take care and stay safe (DON'T).

Literally the worst bar I have ever been. Yesterday me and my friends we went to a PK event in this bar，and the security guards used violence over my friends when they were only there talking to each other. The security guards were racist and rude. Two of my innocent friends were slapped，pulled by the hair and even try to rip my friends nails. At the end they were pushed outside of the bar for doing absolutely nothing. I have seen other people commenting about the security behaviour of this place and it is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting.

Rarely leave bad reviews but this was just bad. Extremely aggressive security, to whom I was nothing but kind to.Treat you like utter garbage, won’t listen to you, act like they’re top tier fbi agents. Look for a fight and will try to assert their “power” over paying customers. Will push and shove without communicating, trying to look tough. Bad music. Watered down drinks. There’s a million bars in London, won’t be coming back, honestly.

Overpriced drinks and bad service. Fights all night and lack of security. To note, this is for the bollywood event that took place. Not well run at all, 80% guys. Music system has issues too, music kept cutting out at the start of the night where the DJ has to get staff to look into this.

Worst place ever to go to Moroccan security guard was the WORST made me feel like i was not welcome there He was very racist towards there i have videos To show proof that the moroccan security was very disrespectful he told me “to wait for him at his work place at 3am and be said “he will show me what will happen if i waited for him” He said he will kill me So i called police for my protection they said they will deal witj this situation i hope you guys will sort this out for me.

The place had good Bollywood and Punjabi songs. We had a good time until someone in the pub stole my husband's wallet. The pub checks IDs before letting people in, and yet we were robbed within the pub, which is unfortunate. The reason why I do not recommend this place is because of the attitude of the staff, they were not trying to help us at all. My husband and I searched the pub for an hour and later found the wallet thrown on the street outside. Of course, all our cash was taken. London is rife with petty theft and more so in Central London and particularly this pub. I don't blame the staff for not even trying to help us or being nonchalant that a wallet was stolen. Probably, this is how London works, but unfortunately, I am unable to appreciate it.

My wife and I have always loved going to Loop Bar in Bond Street. It is lovely to see some of the old staff from there at Sway Bar! Especially people like Charlie, who has always been very hospitable to us and everyone we ever brought along! Whenever you have staff who are as lovely as her, it makes the experience of visiting more comfortable and enjoyable! Highly recommended!

We went there for a "inclusive party". The security kicked out my friend for no reason. They were very rude and unfriendly and we just were sitting having a drink and talking. The place was empty anyway, is one of the worst clubs I've ever been. The security were bored and looking for something to do and the DJ was the worst. Honestly never come to this club if you want to have a good time

Worst experience ever. They didnt mention to carry physical IDs. When the whole world’s going digital, they were asking for a physical ID even after showing all the ID’s in the pdfs. Didnt even refund my money. Worst ever!

Booked Studio 61 for my partner's 30th and it couldn't have gone any better. From the start the booking process and communication was great with Emmanuela. On the day of the event I was welcomed by Hollie who went above and beyond to help me decorate and throughout the night making sure we were good and we had THE BEST barman anyone could ask for, Colen, he was the only one serving our 50 guests in total throughout the night and he got everything right and also brought the vibes with our DJ 🙌 💯 recommend.

The bouncers and security guards here are awful and I've had bad experiences with them more than once. They are extremely aggressive and even violent, they shoved my friend whilst she was wearing heels. They abuse their power and this is extremely unacceptable behaviour on every level

A great place to go for after work drinks 🍻 Their happy hour cocktails are unrivaled l, price wise, and actually quite yummy. It can be a bit quiet during the week, which is either a good thing if you want to be able to hear yourself and chat (which is what I want), or not so good if you're looking to party on a week day. I've enjoyed the music and the food has been tasty. If the place is busy, service can take ages but that's London for you. Shout out to Colin this evening who made me and my friend delicious cocktails and who was very friendly.

Price on the menu is not updated online neither in the club. When I made noticing to the barman he took the menu and hided it then went in the back of the bar for like 5 minutes. I did not understand what was happening... When he came back he started ignoring me even if I was still waiting for my drink and for a reply. Not a good client service at all.

There was no security. there were 2 bouncers, they were sleeping people were misbehaving with each other there was no management. never go waste of time and money. Drunk People were teasing to girls entering into the middle of the groups the security is lagging behind and not doing anything. We just spent 20 mins and our group came out just because of dj and security poor dj.

I had a booking here last week for my birthday party , they gave me 10/10 service . Managers Dom and Sylwia made my night the best night . They were both helpful and professional . I strongly recommend SWAY BAR

Came here for a work conference and was looked after very well by a man named Rocko. He helped me find a plug when I was in desperate need and was very friendly and helpful. Great space, great atmosphere and excellent food.

Food and service is not the best but I love how they have a place for drinks and eating with a DJ playing music then there is a separate cocktail bar with another DJ playing in the area and they have the proper club separated as well with another DJ playing music.

Had an excellent time at Sway Bar last night, we enjoyed the Divas show too, best night weve had for a long time, great singers and dancers...so cheeky lol the only thing I have to say is sometimes the cocktails werent made in the proper way, ie not mixed up in a shaker ....when that was done it tasted bitter and too sour. Apart from that it was grt night.

This was my first visit in 3 or 4 years. I went to Sway for a few after work drinks on a Thursday. The two bouncers on the door were not the most welcoming and seemed to lack some social skills. They basically said WHAT as we went to enter the bar. The bar was empty, which was fine. The person behind the bar tried every beer and cider tap, and the only draught working was Guinness. This limited the options to bottles in the fridge and cocktails/spirits. The cocktails tasted pretty bad. I watched as everything was underpoured even though it was all being measured in front of me. The female bartender definitely did not want to be there and were on their phone most of the time we were in the bar. We ordered a few sides to nibble on. Everything was pretty tasteless and seemed microwaved. Definitely avoid the food. The 50% off happy hour makes the bar worth a visit, but they definitely need to have more than just Guinness working on tap. There was no mention of changing the barrel, just that everything was out apart from Guinness.

Went here last Friday night. Got there about midnight. The bouncer warned us on entry that they were 'quiet' inside. He wasn't kidding. Not one other person was there. Literally not one. Music was pretty awful RnB stuff. I counted ten members of staff dotted around the place, obviously bored out of their minds. Unsurprisingly, service was quick and efficient. At 1am they closed and we left. We walked 200 m and found a much better place, Simmons, that played a mixture of classics and modern pop that was lively and good fun. You should go there instead.

My sisters and myself went today for a 60th birthday celebration. Was fantastic in every way possible. The staff were brilliant and the ENT was first class well done everyone you really do deserve a big round of applause xx

50% off for happy hour is such a great deal! Service was great, however im giving 4 stars because the cocktails were awful. The bartender may have been new or something because we had 3 rounds of the same drink and it tasted different each time? First was too strong, next too sweet, last tasted like water. We never even complained so it's not like he was trying to change it up for us. He looked so stressed even though there was literally no one but us to make drinks for when the burlesque show started. Just some constructive criticism because otherwise it is a great happy hour bar to head to!

Friendly staff but no atmosphere

Lame place waste of time and money. We rented this venue for our conference and half of the people didn’t even get in because they security was checking already pre-approved guests. How does it make sense? Questioning IDs and even rejecting some attendees of the conference even after displaying their IDs was unacceptable. There was definitely some racism involved and the security was also very aggressive with our guests. In conclusion, this was a big disappointment, especially after flying in all the way from NYC and getting treated so poorly! Do NOT use this venue for your events, please do not waste your money. There are a lot of much better great venues in London where you will get treated with at least some sort of respect.

Went here for a west end musical themed brunch and my God my socks were blown off. Service is incredible, and they never let my glass stay empty. Would I go back 100% yes.

I don’t usually do reviews but I picked this place for a friend’s birthday and it was honestly so stressful; not to mention the service was painfully slow. If any of my friends went up to the bar, we literally didn’t see them for half an hour. The organisation was so poor and there was no efficiency despite the place being busy-ish but not heaving. We went during happy hour and there was a burlesque show happening downstairs. Obviously there was a demand for cocktails, but the venue only had two bar staff on at most. When the manager came to help he took an order from the first person he saw who had only just walked up to the bar when we had all been standing there for so long! That happened several times when I waited at the bar (all I wanted was a bottle of Prosecco) - I’d be waiting for 20 minutes and bar staff just couldn’t gauge who to serve next so kept serving people who just walked in front of their faces instead of people who had been standing at the bar for so long. I saw one bartender would who was making cocktails and walked from one end of the bar to the other every time she needed a bottle for a cocktail- so for one cocktail she’d make three trips instead of taking all the bottles she needed. The other guy was taking a couple of orders at a time but it was just slower. If anything, they looked defeated because they needed help and all the manager did was just flap with panic. Also, the burlesque show really promoted buying bottles of Prosecco but they were always downstairs and the fridges weren’t stocked upstairs in the main bar - that kind of organisation just makes no sense to me. In the end, because so many of my friends were coming back frustrated every time they had to go to the bar, we decided to take our business elsewhere because we were spending a lot but getting such poor service in return. It was honestly disappointing and really stressful as the person who organised the birthday party.

Very nice venue. Food was good, but buffet went cold and should probably be served on hot or warmed plates. When I mentioned the poor state of the toilets to reception they didn't care at all and nothing was done, really poor. Decor and atmosphere nice, but need to do better. Shame.

The bouncer, who resembles “Paul Blart: Mall Cop,” hates his job. He attempts to code-switch by speaking Spanish initially but then resorts to hurling insults at attendees. Such behavior is unbecoming and raises questions about whether this is the type of brand and message SWAY intends to support, especially during an event for LSE students—a top-tier school full of international students. At the entrance, he pushed me when I mentioned that I could not move forward because the people in front of me were not moving. I reminded him that he was wearing a camera around his neck, yet he proceeded to push me a second time. I recorded him on my way out. I wouldn’t be surprised if he beats his wife and kids. This individual should be dismissed from his position. Paul Blart needs to be stopped and held accountable.

Went for a social event. Great place to be at. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. 50% off price between certain hours. Can't go wrong in the current economy. Besides, there is music and a dance floor so, all boxes ticked. Love it.

I came here for an event and was really impressed with the venue. Amazing deals on drinks during happy hour. 12.50 for a bottle of wine which is a good deal for a bar in central London. Security staff were very courteous and professional as were the bar staff. Will definitely be returning to this place

Fantastic afternoon at the bottomless west end musical brunch. Very entertaining, great atmosphere. Everyone was singing and dancing. The Bottomless was an hour and the bottles of Prosecco just kept coming. The downsides were the cocktails were disappointing (watery) and the food was pretty awful. At 4pm we were asked to leave the room and go to the next door bar and it but at 5pm without any notice the bar shut and the music was turned off. The barman was so moody and rude. Such a shame to end a great afternoon in such a way. It would have made a big difference if they’d told us this when moving us to the other bar. The bar staff in the main room had been lovely.

Waited in queue for 4 hours to get in because they are understaffed and don’t have enough id and bag checkers - then they try and charge us extra for missing our entry time. Never again- staff are rude and disrespectful don’t go to this terrible place

Their bouncers are so disrespectful acting all tough like hard men trying to intimidate people. I went out to get a friend who was havin difficulty findin the place. I had a band on (that proves I paid) when I came back 5-10 mins later the doorman was like you gotta pay admission. I showed the band and he said doesnt matter. You pay BECAUSE I SAY SO. Scammers

I attended House of Burlesque's show on Saturday night at Sway (6th of January). The door security guy working there at 6pm was extremely rude and intimidating towards my group and treated us with complete contempt and suspicion. Our group was all female and I suspect this factored into his bullying behaviour. It set completely the wrong tone for the night, which is a real shame and is a disservice to the burlesque performers who put on an excellent show. Other female audience members spoke to us and had the same experience with the man at the door. He would make me reconsider another visit to Sway bar.

4 disco lights. 2 inactive 1 moving but no light. Really poor effort get better in a pub. Main club not open. Sad. NB they scan your ID not sure what database. Every purchase at the bar overcharged, at least they corrected when I showed the drinks card. Unlikely to return.

The location of bar is so good, it is 2 minutes far from Piccadilly. Music is so cool and the staff are kind and helpful. I spent nice time in Bar with my friends. It has a club in downstairs and I think everybody enjoyed very much. It is nice place to gather and have fun.

My group of friends were requested to leave for no reason at all as we were on the dance floor: Three of the security guys including the security girl on the floor came and stood in the face of my friend for no reason . When I asked what’s the reason she’s been asked to leave they said they were intoxicated. One of the staff also said I said so that’s why these guys have to leave.It was only half an hour to close on the 27th December. Stupid staff. Staff like them should be trained well . The whole room of the sway bar was intoxicated but they only spotted a few of us. Everyone who were asked to leave were Indians as we walked out. Felt very discriminated. Sway bar staff felt like a few groups of people should leave and not stay. I have recorded footage of the room and management should check cctv cameras to see if the group was intoxicated. If you are brown and Hindu avoid this club/restaurant as they discriminate people for their religion as far as I noticed. The groups who were outside were all Hindus as I came out of course. I was not asked because I challenged them but felt very furious with their unreasonable treatment with a couple of my friend Very tempted to tweet this incident tonight.

We had a great time at the West End Musical brunch hosted here. The food was great, and the service was fab. If you're considering the brunch, go for it! It's one of the best things we've ever done!

Food was terrible - like it came from the economy isle of a supermarket. Pizza tasted like cardboard. The service was even worse, they refused to let me order dessert because the chef was busy. Absolutely awful place to order food and the staff didn’t even care. I’ve never eaten such bad food in my life.
