The Enterprise in Camden

Spent a long Saturday lunchtime at the bar, enjoying the warm and friendly atmosphere and great bar food. A few drinks may have been drunk as well

Came because I'm a fan of Good Omens, which was filmed here in 2019, but left having eaten one of the best (if not the best) chicken I've had. I was very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and food (plus low price for the portions). The staff is very friendly too

The older I get, the more I appreciate the merits of a good pub. And this is a good pub in a busy part of town.

Food menu is amazing. Jerk chicken to blow your head off, everything homemade. Jamaican, Greek, indian, Sri Lankan food and really great price.

Lucy’s service was 10/10 amazing personality and great pouring- made our night!! 🫶🫶

Big thanks to Lou at the Enterprise for rescuing some important work notes I’d left at the pub and keeping them in the office til I could collect. Really kind of her to take the trouble. I really liked the atmosphere and decor of this pub already, but now I also appreciate the friendly efficient staff.

A historical Victorian pub with old and modern features,  something to do with a ship named the Enterprise.  But there is no information about it anywhere in the pub. Model RAF fighters hanging from the ceiling, god knows why. Strange menu with Sri Lankan and Jamaican dishes. Anything to do with the Enterprise sailing to these countries? We would like to order some food anyway but no one behind the bar as two  barmaids were busy eating their lunches followed by some ice-cream and fruit  around a table and sharing some jokes between them as if they are the regular lunchtime customers. They seemed to be reluctant to get up and serve.

Group of 15+ people booked for dinner. This place is fairly small and narrow. Also VERY hot, no airflow, so don't visit on a hot day like we did. It's quirky - not sure if it can decide what sort of pub it wants to be. Toilets (ladies) were not that clean and dryer was broken. Major point for me - zero internet/WiFi access. It's central London so I get the mobile reception can be bad inside the building. They have WiFi but it "only works at the front". I was waiting for a large group trying to co-ordinate people and just gave up trying. I know this sounds entitled but a London pub should have decent internet access. Staff were very nice, did their best with a large group. Food was very good, when we got it. It's an unusual menu and has very spicy foods so be careful what you choose. Burger was nice though. I feel additional staff would be of help as we had one single person serving us. We cleaned the table beforehand and cleared it afterwards mostly ourselves. The staff were very patient with our group when we did some fan related stuff we had come for. Overall, not too bad.

Nice pub, lovely outside area, but expensive; £6.80 for a pint of Guinness

Decent pub in Red Lion Street – popped in here on a Saturday for a few beers. Traditional pub downstairs with large garden to the rear, a good place to sit for a few hours. The lager in here was Amstel, as seemed to be the theme for the day – prices reasonable. Convenient stops on a walk from the City back up to St Pancras.

I visited here last week, to watch the football, meet up with five friends and try (for a second time) the excellent new food menu. It was great to catch up with mates plus the fantastic bar staff, who are always so friendly and accommodating, making the Enterprise always very welcoming and comfortable. Plus now with the brilliant new food menu from Roshan’s Kitchen it’s an even easier reason to visit - the food is truly delicious. A very enjoyable evening had (with or without the footie!) and I look forward to visiting again soon. Keep up the great work. Oh great beer selection too!

Excellent service, friendly staff. Nice atmosphere in this restored Victorian pub. Had the goat curry, delicious! Would recommend a visit anytime.

Great pub just off Theobalds Road with a nice atmosphere. I thought it would get loud and busy on a Friday evening, but it emptied out so it's a nice place to sit and chat into the evening. The food is amazing. The Sri Lankan aubergine curry was excellent, and there are a decent selection of burgers too, including vegan options.

9/10. Genuinely my only criticism for this otherwise exceptional pub, is the lack of mayonnaise.

Visited here for the first time with a very good friend of mine who has been here before. A lovely place, good beer, reasonable prices for London. Sophia, the bar maid, was lovely and would make you feel welcome. I will deffo be going be there again!

I'm not sure which we appreciated more - the service or the space itself. Celebrated my husband's birthday there last night and they were incredibly accommodating, friendly and personable. It was lovely to find a space which was as welcoming as it was beautiful. My only suggestion would be to have some low on non alcoholic spirit. Thanks again to all of you!

Food N/A Smell from the toilets evaded the bar area. Same as last time I was there. That pulled down the atmosphere rating.

Had vegetarian Christmas meal, was amazing!

A very comfortable pub for lunch & drinks. Staff friendly & helpful. Good beer & not massively busy in the lead up to Christmas for a group of 15 on a return visit.

Menu is quite weird/fusion, but the potato bhaji burger (vegan) was absolutely delicious. (The chips were a bit over-salted, though.) It's a small menu, but clearly a step above your typical pub offerings. Would be nice if there was one more veggie/vegan option.

I had not expected to pop in for a drink, but was glad that I did. A beautiful pub with a lovely interior and friendly staff. There was a nice selection of drinks, too. However, considering the pub is named after a ship called 'Enterprise', there is no model of this ship. But there are models of various aircraft hanging from the ceiling, instead.

Nice pub, decent selection of brews available, lots of seating or standing room. Staff was fun and engaged. Good spot for pre-dinner drinks

Off the main road. Authentic traditional pub interior. Small courtyard garden out the back. £6 for a pint of decent pale ale. Service was prompt and polite. Varied wine menu. Nice spot for a stop and recharge.

Not sure when The Enterprise was refurbished but it wasn't as I recalled it from many moons ago. Doesn't seemed to have retained many of its Victorian features. There's nothing unpleasant about The Enterprise but also nothing that makes you want to return in a hurry. It all seemed a bit sterile. Only two real ales on tap. Plus point is that the staff are very nice.

Overpriced food and beers!! The food being served by a lady who managed to stick her fingers inside the plates and touched the food..not so hygienic...

Good place to quench your thirst when in the City, and serving food. Tiny but lovely beer garden.

The decor and vibe here are great. The inside is vibrant and cozy, and there’s a patio out back to stay cool on summer nights (the inside was quite hot). The food menu was already shut down for the night, so I can’t speak on that. The cocktails seemed quite overpriced for a pub, but maybe that’s just how it is these days? (11 pounds per cocktail.) That being said, they were delicious. HOWEVER I have to warn you against the shooters - they were disgusting. Mine (bloody villager) tasted like raw egg yolk and I nearly barfed (no I was not drunk) and my friend’s (brain hemorrhage) had weird separated lumpy textures. The ales were fair price and overall I really enjoyed my time there and plan to return. The other thing you should know is that their opening hours listed here are a farce. Google Maps said they’re open til midnight on weekdays, but last call was 11pm/23:00 and they asked everyone to finish their drinks by 11:10 and get out. If you have sensory or noise sensitivity or autism, note that they announce last call with a loud bell twice - a 15 minute warning at 10:45 and again at 11.

We tried this as it was convenient to the hotel. Staff was friendly and but the drinks were just meh. Kir Royale was marginal as were the American bourbon drinks. Tried the food but it's not pub food. It's wanna-be eclectic tapas brought in from some place called Fudizm. Look, if I wanted a 'new take' on tapas, I wouldn't be a London pub. The food was just weird and not in a good way. If you're looking for a cold beer, the Enterprise is acceptable. If you want constructed cocktails or pub food then perhaps try somewhere else.

There’s a new kitchen and it’s not as good as the old one. The service wasn’t great - one dish ordered never made it to the kitchen and one of the main courses came out before everything else with the last main coming right at the end. Not impressed this time.

Dined here with my daughters. The fu:dizm food was fantastic. We had the taster menu for 2 and veggie choice off the main menu. Everything was gorgeous and wonderfully presented. The pub staff were excellent and really helpful. Would definitely recommend this place. We had great help and banter from the “half Italian” supervisor. Really good night had by all.

Great pub, great food, great staff. Tucked away on a quiet street, The Enterprise is a great place to meet friends and have a pint. Good selection of lagers and ales, cocktails and spirits. The atmosphere is very relaxed and there is a beautiful outdoor seating area. Highly recommended if you're in the Holborn area, as it is much nicer and quieter than the pubs on the main streets.

Called in for a drink,had a double gin and tonic and a pint of cider came to £16.20 what a ripoff . Woman behind the bar was friendly enough but wasn’t expecting that price

Pretty manic, very loud, but serves a good selection of drinks. Not the typical pub atmosphere you'd expect on a weekday night, but nonetheless a nice place.

A bit rundown than I remember but a pleasant enough drinking establishment.

Nice original feel pub with Good honest food and beer selection and small outdoor area at the back when weathers suitable. New menu when I visited March 14th which was a bit more gastropub style than previous but still good tasting.

Stayed in the Premier Inn, and popped in here one night, a lovely relaxing pub, with a variety of clientel , the beer is first class, and the two lady bartender are very friendly. Definately worth a visit.

Had a great Asian inspired menu from a pop up kitchen. Great idea! One to follow.

Ordered a beef curry... Didn't expect this!!! Full Tali style dish, bursting with flavour, amazingly tender, spicy beef curry, rice topped with crispy and spring onion, cauliflower curry, dal, potato & veg dish, a super fresh salad with baby lamb lettuce, some kind of dip and a poppadom! everything was simply delicious, very impressed, definitely recommend! Nice pub, pleasant and interesting decor, small selection of beers but you'll find something you like!

Very difficult pub to get served at when moderately busy due to having too many bar stools that at the bar.

It was my first time visiting this Pub and it was most enjoyable. The beer they had on offer was good 🍺🍺😁 worth while an another visit . I didn't stay long enough to ask about the model aircraft hanging from the ceiling.? A bit busy .🍺 Feel free to check it out yourself.?

I was planning to visit the Dolphin Tavern opposite but apparently it’s closed at the weekend, so I popped in here. Pleasantly surprised! Really nice Victorian pub; some retained features and other aspects more contemporary. A lovely, brightly painted yard out back. Very welcoming, friendly staff - I noticed how patient and accommodating they were with foreign tourists. Only two of the four cask ales on, otherwise I would rate it as five stars. Nevertheless, recommended.

Busy, busy backstreet London pub in Holborn area. Scarce seating but good post office vibe. Rapid bar service which is appreciated. If you're there early dig in for the night at a table else plan on just a couple of beers and move on

Plenty of seating, outdoor smoking area, good selection of drinks and served quickly. Pretty dark inside and decor slightly dated.

My friends and I called in for a pint on a Saturday evening. It wasn't too busy and we were able to get a table with ease. The staff were friendly and the decor was interesting, especially the model aircraft suspended from the ceiling. I enjoyed my visit and would happily return.

Visited last weekend. Food was good. There was a wide range of drinks including a few cocktails but the thing about this place is the welcome we got.Sofia the bars supervisor was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely be going back on a next visit to London.

Great mixture of ages, staff friendly, drinks on a par for London pricing, but relaxing and welcoming, only thing was i expected more related items with ships than planes due to its name but great all the same.

Had a private party here and it was the perfect venue. Beautiful pub, great decor and a lovely little beer garden for smoking in. The staff were really accommodating and went out of their way to help make the event a success, which it certainly was.

£6.20 for a pint of Guinness is defo on the higher end for pubs in this area. But it’s a lovely pub, attentive friendly staff, plenty of space to sit at a table, sit at the bar or just stand. 80’s music playing at the time I was there so a nice added bonus.

We enjoyed a quick drink in their small outside terrace area at the back, a nice find in the middle of the city!

Friday night. Was a bit busy to start with (pre drinks for an event around the corner) but staff coped well.

Amazing pet friendly pub with cool decor, pretty little back harden with heaters and great staff. We've just stopped for a quick drink after a walk in a park with my dog and ended up staying until closing time. Special shout out to Sofia (Sofie? 🙈) who was sooo friendly, even kept bringing tiny pieces of cucumber for Alvin. She's a 💎☺️ Will definitely be back! 🍻 🐶 ❤️

Looked nice but when we went there on a Friday night it was packed and the "garden" was a very small space holding about 3 small tables. Can't comment on the food or beer as there were no free tables so we decided not to stay

Beautiful looking pub, beer is really expensive (even for the west end) Toilet is clean but pipes need a bit of bleach, stinks. Staff is very courteous. Still recommended, especially if you are looking for a beautiful cosy backdrop for your evening

Really quiet (covid times) Saturday night- popped in for a pint. Really cozy and so cute- I love the decor! Ok Guinness, cute patio. Didn’t try the food. Will be back!
