The best restaurants serving British food in Bromley London

We went for the Christmas afternoon tea in the pod. The setting was beautiful and certainly a great way to get in the Christmas spirit including the music. The service was also excellent. The only thing which was a little bit of a disappointment was the consistency of the food. The egg vol-a-vents were not great and felt like a bad party food option (cold and pastry not great). In comparison the pulled pork was lovely as was the soup. The sandwiches had been made in advance and refrigerated and when you are the last sitting this isn’t ideal even though they tasted good. This is an expensive treat and a little more thought on menu would be good.

Ahí lo dije, la falta de niños pequeños vagando por ahí, cambio de pañales, lápices de colores y libros para colorear y sillas de paseo aparcadas doblemente es un poco más relajante. Hay un montón de establecimientos que dan la bienvenida a padres e hijos. Por el contrario el Alma es dog friendly. Desafortunadamente nuestro perro es amigable con Alma - tan difícil de pasar por la puerta en un paseo. Servicio - Muy bueno Comida - Muy buena, cuidado, buena calidad. Domingo Asado un placer satisfactorio - me encanta la hamburguesa Alma. Mi esposa disfruta de las ofrendas vegetarianas. Bebidas - Me encanta la selección a menudo cambiante, a menudo tentado por los recién llegados al bar. Cerveza bien en bodega ( MUY IMPORTANTE - ES UN PUB ). Ambiente - Subjetivo por supuesto, pero realmente disfrutamos del ambiente, tanto dentro como fuera, ya sea allí para una comida o simplemente una pinta con el perro. Magnífico, muy acogedor café en la estación de Crystal Palace. Buenas nalgas, té en una tetera adecuada, con tazas y platillos de porcelana. Excelente servicio.

Un gran pub gastronómico con buena comida. Fuimos temprano un sábado por la noche. Su ambiente era animado. Las hamburguesas estaban buenas. Un gran pudín de toffee pegajoso. Lovley elección de cócteles. Servicio complaciente. La zona exterior tenía muchos calentadores bajo su dosel artístico. La decoración interior es rústica con un buen ambiente. También son amigables para perros y niños. Sin duda recomendaría una visita.

Last Sunday the weather was nice, so we sat in the pub's garden. We decided to order our food from the bar rather than the app, as we wanted to modify one order slightly, which we were told was fine. Our companions chose Grilled Seabass Fillets (Served with sautéed potatoes, king prawns, peas and free-range hollandaise sauce. 837kcal). When it arrived, it looked very appetising, and we had requested one to be without prawns when we ordered, which was easily catered for by the kitchen staff. My triple roast, when it arrived shortly afterwards, did not look so appetising. The greens were cold and indigestible, the potatoes were small and very dry and having expected a combination of sliced beef, turkey and gammon, there was only one small slice of beef, and two small slices of chicken on my plate. There was no sign of Turkey or the Gammon as advertised. I admit, the gravy was nice, but the meal didn't meet my expectations or the charged price of £16.49. It started to cloud over in the garden, so we came inside for our desserts. Despite my asking at the bar when we ordered our mains, should we order our desserts at the same time, we were advised there was no need to order our desserts at the same time. Today, I discovered by looking at the website, that meant we were charged the full price of £6.79 for our desserts instead of the advertised discounted price of £2.50 when ordering a dessert with a Sunday roast. Desserts were ordered again from the bar by my companion, I'm now expecting that my sticky toffee pudding with custard would make up for my disappointment with my Sunday roast. Unfortunately, no, it did not. The square of dark sponge I was served was the same dimensions as a standard size Post-It© Note, while the custard was served in a ramakin that I suspect could also double as a placement holder for a tea light. Today I looked at the online menu, and saw my pudding was advertised as containing a mere 266kcal. That was approximately 1 third the number compared to my companion's Strawberry & Raspberry Eton Mess Sundae. 671kcal. So a lesson learned, next time, before I order my dessert, I'll ask how many calories it has and what size the portions are. That way, I'd get my money's worth. Staff: Good, Polite, Prompt. Food: Disappointing, Overpriced.

First ever visit despite living iin Croydon for 40 years !!! Wonderful venue, delightful staff delivered great service especially Mia, Carly and June. Excellent meal shared with friends - will be returning again and again !!

First time here since the summer. The previous staff were very friendly. Only one woman serving this evening, kicking us out at 10pm. Surly and rude

Lovely restaurant. Great service and the food was very good indeed. Our server, Lorna, was polite and helpful. We would highly recommend this Harvester to friends.

Went for a wake, close to beckenham crematorium, hired the function room. Sandwiches and picky food were ok but not worth the amount they charge, staff very moody no condolences etc. Music was awful.

Visited Sunday 23/2/2025 first time to Greyhound wetherspoon in Bromley , excellent food, staff service courteous friendly, highly recommend a visit , thank you all the staff at The Greyhound

Just had a medium Cod which was cooked to perfection and skin removed which I don't mind either way. They do what looks like a very nice pie & mash Wed thru Sat and must go back to give this a try. Great staff and a great experience as always.

Came here to get some pie and mash for tea. When I got home that nite and wanted to cook it the liquor was a funny colour and smelt funny. It had gone off. So never gettinng from you again
