The best restaurants serving British food in Barnet London

Very traditional pub with friendly staff. Went for a drink with a friend to celebrate.

Look, it’s a cosy little pub with an okay-ish beer garden- free parking (very limited) space, bit out of the way, you’ll have a laugh if your with a group. I tried the food in the past, bang average and REALLY EXPENSIVE. The price of the beers and wines are ridiculous and they don’t even taste nice for the central London price you pay. Except for the Guiness, that’s below average, one of the worst pint’s of Guiness I’ve ever drank and paid nearly £15 quid for 2. If it wasn’t for the extortionate prices it would seem a little more appealing but I don’t want to waist my money there again. Has the potential to be a great pub but whatever system they’ve got on their alcohol needs to change because the beers taste like ****. Either lower your prices or up the quality.

A great local with a welcoming feel

Excellent service the waitress was very helpful and had a great approach. She was prompt and and gave advise as needed…..

Skewered chicken kebab was superb, ribs well flavoured but overcooked. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend it if you’re passing by.

Nice atmosphere and lots of different rooms. Went in with a crowd of people and was plenty of room. Though quite busy. Food was okay but was a bit over down. Had jazz on when we were there.

Visited this pub yesterday during the day , very accommodating to put on to Tv what we were looking for . service at bar quick and very friendly also available at table . Haven't visited in years met up with friends . Much cleaner pub as well then years ago and customer clientele of the right age in pub !!! we definitely be back and recommend to anyone in area to visit .

Great overall. Shame they ran out of ice. Some drinks weren't right without ice.

Great place but counter smelled of vomit

We, a group of six friends and a pup, visited Arkley pub for a luncheon. The decor and ambience of this gastropub are inviting, with live log fires in the sofa areas. The service was friendly, and they invited us to taste a few of their favourite wines. Viola! The table selections invited friends to share the food with warm bread, pizzettes, a hummus platter, etc. A selection of main meals, including sea bass, seafood linguine, and burgers, received the full compliments for chef. We had thevmost enjoyable afternoon while savouring the delicious dishes and wines.

La comida era deliciosa, sin duda recomiendo. Bonito pub limpio y acogedor. También un bar para su perro y jardín exterior.

Gran pub Inc fuera de las zonas, personal amable, gran variedad de cervezas. Ambiente agradable en la noche de las elecciones julio 2024 . Nada que lo culpe. La piedra de afilar está afuera.
