The food here is normally quite good for an average JD Wetterpants in a pretty scruffy bit of Kingsbury. The tables were messy with half of them uncleared. The clientele don't particularly care as long as they get piles of cheap food. I can't say I enjoy this particular Spoons but it's easy to park nearby and as I said the food us usually good and the service is fast. I think it's a solid 3 Stars.

Accidentally ordered food to wrong whether spoons and so we realised after 3 minutes and rang restaurant to which we received rudeness from the manager there and was told we will not be getting refund due to food already being cooked which is incorrect how can food be cooked in 3 minutes two meals may I add very unhappy £20 down the drain they clearly don’t care about reputation or customers I don’t even know how the manager has that job with her attitude SHE SHOULD BE FIRED

Central location, Leicester Square, where to eat the typical fish and chips in London at a reasonable price, it also has a great variety of beer 🍺 we usually go to this restaurant chain when we go to the UK 😊

A pub with an Irish atmosphere, traditional food, affordable prices...

It's a Wetherspoons but I'm going to call it as a good one. Popped in twice when away with work. Firstly after a very long work day, of an evening for a pint, which was refreshingly cold, well kept and typically low priced per Wetherspoons ethos. So good in fact, I had another. Second visit preceding a second long day of work for breakfast. One of the first customers of the day, really good service and solid breakfast. The food is utilitarian but I wouldn't be able to fault it - it's good enough, done well, exactly as expected to keep my hunger at bay and enabled me to get on. The atmosphere was friendly in a discreet 'pubby' way. I wouldn't hesitate to take the kids here put it that way, and I noticed the manager / landlord momentarily with his family when they dropped in on their way somewhere. There was also friendly banter between some of the regulars (first name terms used) and the staff.

The service was friendly and helpful. I'm a huge fan of WETHERSPOONS. The best value for money pubs in the world!!

Good value for the money food good and staff are very pleasant

Dry reheated food and found a sticker in the food saying WED on it. It was ok but dry until I found the sticker. Today is a Sunday so I hope the sticker wasn't saying prepared on Wednesday hopefully best before! Staff are amazingly busy and trying their best. Sausages walm in the centre and soft crispy on the outer side somehow?

Service at the bar is good. Food portion sizes have been reduced quite considerably.

I come here regularly and atmosphere is great and it used to be nice but standards have definitely dropped food service is very slow and staff always seem to have an attitude the only best part about this place is the atmosphere.

7/10 ⭐️ Decent sized Wetherspoons, providing plenty of space for big group motives. Spacing was perfect, making it not too loud to have conversations at an appropriate volume. Service was quite fast, with friendly staff. The prices for drinks were quite cheap & affordable, perfect for motives for drinking. The food quality apart from the full English breakfast is lacking, especially the beef burgers. It was quite plain, with zero effort into the burgers, just a piece of lettuce, onions and dry patties. Chips tasted undercooked, but for the pricing, it was acceptable standards. As someone who had their burgers, I do not recommend unless you’re on a budget and expect a plain dish.

The only issue I have is parking but it's no fault of the premise. The food is good and staff are wonderful. Love having my breakfast there. I will always love my meals in these chain of pubs.

We are regulars at Wetherspoons and we had the worst experience ever on New Year’s Eve. My partner accidentally ordered the food to the wrong table. It happens people are drunk and the staff informed us when we asked about it. The food was thrown away. Kitchen is closed and they won’t give us a refund Mistakes happening in a pub when alcohol is involved. They didn’t even try to find us even though there was hardly that many people in the pub they just assumed I don’t know what they assumed, but we were left without food on New Year’s Eve and their attitude was also something else. We have been coming to this Wetherspoons for quite awhile now, and now I can say with Absolute assurance. We will never come to this one again. We lost out on £17.59 because they’re plain rude and didn’t even care that it was New Year’s and they ruined our New Year

Not happy ordered food by mistake put the number 24 instead 42 they didn't try to find out. And after when I tried to approach they refused to give food and no refund. As regular customer this was upsetting and we try to be there to have our New year together. Disappointed

Solid Spoons. Breakfast on point. Staff on point. Just a good all round pub. It is what it is and it's well worth a pint / food.

I have maketh a order like usual on my app when a member of staff after we was in the pub for 10 minutes come and asked for ID, I did have my one but my friend didn't, and the manager refused to give me the order, even if it was just the food, and not refund ether. I will never go back, the manager being very rude.

Waited over an hour for food to be brought out. Then some off it was burnt on 3 out of the 5 people we ordered for when taken back the staff wanted to serve other customers rather than deal with our food. Then the staff was rude to two of the people that was with myself. I fully understand that they are short starffed but there is no need for rudeness from staff towards customers when we are making a complaint about the burnt food

It's a Wetherspoons, not much to say really. Cheap and cheerful food and drinks. Not much atmosphere.

Usually you pay for what you get in spoons and nothing different with this place. However, staff today been really bad. Twice I waited over 5 mins not because the bar was busy but because there was no one behind the bar. They were at the back????. There a lady wearing a maroon shirt and glasses clearly annoyed at the company's process or whatever it is. Tbh I never leave bad reviews but this visit wasn't nice. I don't need you to smile or be polite but I expect your attention. Atmosphere is what you expect from spoons during working hours.

After they increased the prices there is literally nothing they can boast about. There is literally no point on going here anymore. Super rude servers and equal prices to to almost all other pubs in central London.

Yeah fairly standard spoons, I believe this is the 5th moon I've been too, definitely the lowest price in London I've seen which is nice. Not the friendliest atmosphere, when I walked in with my dad, about 20 old white guys all stared at us and stopped talking. Felt like a scene from a movie . But yeah other than that, friendly staff and standards stuff

Only been the once last week. It feels very much more like a friendly local pub than the normal plain Wetherspoon atmosphere.

Good and cheap, the gents could be cleaner, but OK, this is the “UK standard”.

Service leaves a bit to be desired. Barmaid called Ella/Emma on duty at night prefers to serve her friends before customers, so had to wait before being served. Went to toilet before leaving premises thus leaving my wife on her own. When I came out of toilets two drunks, were being annoying towards her. Just as well I'm well over 6 foot and 16 stone and muscular. God forbid she was on her own. Why on earth are people being served alchohol to the extent they are abusive and drunk, I do not know. Perhaps I should have called the police maybe next time I will. Wetherspoons sort yourselves out, you do not need these type of customer’s.

Feels like a proper old fashioned pub but looks like it used to be a cinema from the outside. Pleasant staff and good beer at reasonable prices.

I visited this pub for a dinner as I was staying in the area and I always rate the decent value offered by Wetherspoons for its food with a drink included. The pub is located on the main A5 although set back from the road itself in a row of shops and buildings known as Varley Parade. It is a large building, which originally was built as a Woolworths store which is how it operated until 1984. The pub was busy when I arrived although I managed to find a spare table at the back of the pub to sit and order dinner on the App. No sooner had I sat down, I observed staff trying to get a man sitting near me (who clearly had a little too much to drink) to leave...he was refusing to budge and a few minutes later he was marched out of the building with him struggling and knocking into diners and drinkers as he left - not the most pleasant way to start my visit. I ordered a curry on the app with a beer. Usually when you order food and drink on the App the drink is brought over fairly quickly, however on this visit the ale came after my food had been delivered. The beef madras curry was tasty and the two papadoms were crispy, although the rice portion was pretty small and my naan bread (which I had upgraded from standard to garlic) was coated in greasy butter and was very messy to eat. The ale I ordered was good, and served in good condition, just had to wait a bit for it to arrive. The pub appeared to be short-staffed...around me almost all the tables were stacked up with dishes and leftovers and nobody appeared to be addressing it...staff were delivering food near me and walking right past all the dirty plates instead of taking some with them as they went back to the bar. Eventually one of the staff started to clear and tidy the tables, but the amount of debris left around the pub tables wasn't exactly a good look. Overall it was an okay meal but the whole experience wasn't exactly memorable for the right reasons.

Disappointing, the only good thing was my beer… The burnt hamburger was a complete disaster. It was blackened, dry, and tasted like burnt rubber. Avoid at all costs.

Didn't get on with this place as much as I do other wetherspoons. My daughter was disappointed they don't do pizzas, and food we did order took a bit longer than we're used to from other branches. When it arrived, chicken in my burger was lovely, but the roll was just a little tired (not stale) as were the onion rings. Chips ok but warm rather than hot - slightly made up for by being served on a really hot plate. Service wise, it lacked the little touches that make for a nice experience like someone mentioning where condiments are when delivering food rather than us having to ask. Some branches they'll even bring to you but I'm happy to do myself. We didn't get the usual check-in about the food. Worst offence probably that plates were not cleared away/tables cleaned in a timely manner. Overall just unremarkable. I don't know the area so not sure how stacks up to other local venues, but disappointing version of a wetherspoons which I usually enjoy for a good value family meal.

It's a good 'Spoon, no school dinners pong and the usual gang of well-trained staff and decently, not exceptionally, well-kept drinks. Find yourself in Colindale, and it's definitely your best choice for food and drink. You could, of course, just get out of Colindale and get a life.

worst steak you can imagine(chewing gum).not all steaks are sirloin.we ask for medium but all are well done.if you can't cook or read .don't sell steaks

Eaten at many Wethys and always found it value for money and good, the food here was awful, ordered burgers, came like the happy meal burger from mac d. Never again!

Very friendly and peaceful atmosphere, polite staff and very decent variety in the items you can order (like the addition of the new cocktails and foods). One of the few places where you can afford to eat and buy a few drinks without breaking the bank. Lovely!

Had a great experience on a bank holiday evening. Great staff, amazing prices and good rusty ambience. We ordered the 3 snack deal, chicken wings, cheese nachos and bao bun and all of them were tasted excellent. Food took a while to arrive but was served hot and was worth the wait. Overall a great experience without a big hole in the pocket. Has plenty of seating.
