The best restaurants serving British food in London

We always enjoy The Bobbin and this was no different - for a start, great when you can still get a Sunday Roast at 7.30pm!! The service seemed a little inattentive but ultimately I think they were just really short staffed. The early evening ambience was a curious mix of families alongside younger groups, some of whom seemed to be in a battle to see who could be heard loudest. The food, as always, was great. Between us we had one beef roast, one lamb roast, and a salmon. Generous portions, really tasty food. Even in these days where cost of living is high, I find myself asking if I want to be paying £26 for a roast dinner but that’s my choice to make. We’ll be back because we always enjoy it.

A place to go if you want to be ignored by the servers and not buy anything. Decor's not much to look at, so I don't know why you'd bother (for context, my mum tried to order from the two people who were working here and they just said "no" and turned away- shocking!)

Watery coffee, no froth, looked and tasted like dishwater. Expensive. No choice of cakes or soft drinks. Serving poor . Seemed like they couldn’t be bothered. This place could be lovely…..

Habitación encantadora con personal de camarero muy amable. La presentación del buffet era encantador y buena comida. Recomendaría alojarse en este hotel cuando esté en la ciudad.

The price of diesel on the big board outside when I pulled in was £1:70 per litre. When I pumped it was £1:92.9! Total rip off!

For some reason the Sutton McD’s ice cream machine never works. I’m either just so unlucky that it just happens every time we come here which I doubt is the case. What a joke I think the staff don’t know how to use it correctly

Just awful, awful food. Cheap sausage, cold, flabby bacon. It’s a prime location and would be amazing to have something better here!

OMG !!! Worst service ever ! So so slow . Not feeling welcome there at all . Grumpy faces .not giving attention to orders . Not going back again there.

Shocking service initially there were only 4/5 orders on the screen . However I still waited 20 minutes. Nobody appeared to be in charge and eventually there were around 20 people waiting . Everyone seemed to working at a slow pace . Compared to every other Macdonalds I’ve visited , this was my first visit here , the service and response from team members was poor .

La buena noticia es que la comida estaba deliciosa. La triste noticia, pero no sorprendente, es que era caro. Tres comidas para niños, un bacalao con patatas fritas, una hamburguesa con queso y bebidas era de aproximadamente £ 85. En realidad nos cobraron £ 106 por error - un Cod & Chips extra se llevó a nuestra mesa y se había añadido a nuestra factura, lo que resultó en un sobrecargo de £ 20. Pero el personal era servicial, resolvió el reembolso inmediatamente y nos dio un recibo. Sugiero ir al café en su lugar, o traer un picnic para ahorrar dinero.

Los bocadillos y frutos secos de baja calidad están cerca de la parte delantera y en bolsas más pequeñas. Debería ser todo lo contrario. Lo mejor era difícil de localizar. Además, necesitan bolsas de papel. Las bolsas de plástico naranja son horribles para el medio ambiente.

Was not impressed with the food. I do not understand why a£1 upcharge for a modified tartar sauce and fries? I thought fish and chips are eaten with malt vinegar and not lemons!!!!

El desayuno solo se sirve durante media hora un domingo entre las 10 . 30 y 11 . 00 ¿Están locos? Vinimos a desayunar y jugar suavemente y solo pudimos elegir del menú del almuerzo a nuestra llegada a las 11. 00 ¿En qué planeta están?

Terrible. Siempre recibí donuts de Doughnut Time (que son increíbles) y esta vez como estaba en Euston pensé en darle una oportunidad a Dum Dum. Le pregunté a los empleados si el de la foto tenía algo dentro. Dijeron que sí, está relleno de crema de chocolate. Cuando lo tuve no había crema en el interior (solo la pastelería), lo que lo hizo súper seco. No es un gran sabor. Hazte un favor y si vas a gastar 5 libras. 50 en un donut, ve a la hora del donut.

Pedimos una ensalada, pero la equivocada fue entregada. Pedimos "aliño de ensalada" que la camarera no parecía entender, así que dijimos "aceite y vinagre". Aún perpleja fue y habló con un colega que trajo una olla de mostaza. Dijimos que no, "aderezo para ensaladas. Aceite y vinagre" El aceite y el vinagre finalmente se estrellaron sobre la mesa y el camarero anunció que el aceite y el vinagre son diferentes al aderezo para ensaladas. Dijimos que el aceite y el vinagre es un aderezo básico para ensaladas. ¡Dijo "no en Italia, no lo es"! Fue tan grosero y suponemos que este camarero nunca ha estado en Italia donde nunca tendrías que pedir aceite o vinagre. ¡Se les proporcionaría automáticamente! La sopa Minestrone estaba buena y finalmente obtuvimos la ensalada correcta!
