OMG !!! Worst service ever ! So so slow . Not feeling welcome there at all . Grumpy faces .not giving attention to orders . Not going back again there.

I was standing at the counter while the staffed looked at me but ignored me while having their own conversation. O was forced to go to the counter as the staff member serving me didn’t know a thing avout any items on the menu. Would give a zero rating if i could!!

I have always ordered their utterly nutterly and Coco mania through Uber of course, as heck it was one of the best dessert I have ever tasted with pistachio pieces mixed with ice-cream on a cold stone. Until tonight. The order tasted like pistachio kulfi I buy in Tesco..... Not sure what's gone wrong with this place in a month and a half. If I knew these guys were going to send me the pistachio kulfi from Tesco I would not have bothered to order it from this place. I have ordered many times from this place and utterly nutterly is made on a cold stone at this place but guess they thought they could get away with below par order on this occasion. Ordered another one called Coco mania yoghurt drink found white plastic bag pieces in the drink. Not to happy with the order for the first time, so either these guys were saving up on money or they service levels have gone down. Ohh yeah and if they want to denounce this review, I even have pictures to prove my point. Really disappointed

We ordered 3 milkshakes and a waffle. The cream for the waffle was off, the milkshakes were too watery. Ordered whipped cream for the milkshake and there was barely any.

Lady is very rude. Always yelling at other staff and refuses card payments, when I've always been paying by card before. As if she pockets cash. Stale cake and poor quality food. Horrendous service

I went with my family and I was really excited to go and try the desserts however it was definitely a night to remember as I wasn't satisfied by the business in total. I say this because when we went in no one approached us to tell us to sit and they should have noticed as there was only one other group of customers. Additionally , it took quite a while for our desserts to come and the atmosphere was so dull . Also my brother ordered a cookie dough and it was so small - it simply wasn't the right price as it was so over priced and so tiny. My sister and I had waffles and they were small but ok . The waitress also forgot my cutlery however I must say she did provide good customer service compared to the rest of the staff and she was really polite.

Cookie dough was delicious. The place is spacious and clean , The staff is amazing specially the guy who served the order.

What a disaster! Where do I start? After a very average meal at Bison's, wanted a a bit of dessert. Only place we could think of round that area was Afters. Not a big fan of Afters but there wasn't anything else available. On the menu it says a they have a selection of cakes, so I ordered a pistachio cake and a peanut butter milkshake. The waiter repeated back he has every other cake on the menu but the pistachio, so I settled for a black forest gateau. Cake was decent but I don't have a picture of it, as I thought presentation of the cake was diabolical and not worth taking a picture. The icing on the cake was when my milkshake was brought over. Peanut butter milkshakes is one of my favourite shakes. I took one look at it and thought what in god's name is this? Never have I ever seen a milkshake that colour. Gave it the benefit of the doubt, and tried it. It was so thick that I couldn't drink it throw a straw. Now I think back I didn't hear the blender once, normally a milkshake you blitz it in a blender. There was four members of staff working there surely one them knows how to make a milkshake? I'm by looking at my milkshake they put a tub of peanut butter half a scoop of ice cream and probably no milk whatsoever. I just left it on the table, wasn't at all interested in making a complaint as gentleman who took our order in the beginning struggled with his lack of English. I've had peanut butter milkshakes in other dessert parlours, as well as other branches of Afters many a times. To this day I have never known it to come in that colour. Milkshakes normally come out white. Few of the Afters branches have gone into decline recently. Store managers and owners really need to look into what staff are serving and basic customer service skills is a must.

Within hours after eating only 2 scoops of ice cream, I had to take my son to A & E for food poisoning! STAY WELL CLEAR!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Do not go here as staff are rude and ill mannered. Felt completely vulnerable as two of the staff members were sitting and throwing things at my foot. Management isn’t anywhere to be seen or were just lacking in doing there jobs. I was completely ignored for 20 minutes whilst I waited to order. Majority of the time the afters in Leyton is always empty probably due to the fact that the staff sit around and don’t clean up. Disgusting and would not recommend to go there unless you’re looking at being the target for harassment. Absolutely disgusted by afters in Leyton. Re consider who you people hire.

Have been to this outlet of Afters many times. Though ilford amd green street Aftrs are more near to us but they r v small and noisy but this one is very spacious so prefer to come here. Menu is same like all Afters.

Went to visit the Afters with my family and was utterly disgusted with the service and the establishment itself! The staff are rude and need a refresher course in costumer service. They were awkward and more interested in having a good gossip. The place is filthy, covered in grease and grime, even your local fried chicken shop probably has a less build up on the tables. The ice cream itself is very poor quality and extremely overpriced, the toppings are stale and expensive! Would not visit again and avoid the toilets... unless you want to catch something.

last night i went there with my family who came far from here and they where disgusted with what they were served as the faludas didn't have the original kulfa ice cream the kulfa was disgusting and how it looks in the image it's not how it turns out to be and so i wouldn't recommend it to any one.There ice creams are just like or probably worse then store brought ice cream and to expensive i am very dissatisfied.

Prices are insane £6-7 or even £27 !!!! You can pay cash only !!! Is dirty everywhere just disgusting. Don't come here ever !!!On the picture just ice inside the ice cream it means they are old...

Cada helado ordenado faltaba algo. Lo siento, no tenemos que debería haberlo dicho antes de ordenar en lugar de tener helado a medio terminar entregado a la mesa. Se reemplazó el panal de chocolate con chocolate y botones de chocolate con una oblea. . . . apenas la misma cosa. Nos decepcionó cuando pedimos cambiarlos por uno donde todos los ingredientes estuvieran disponibles o reducir el precio un poco para compensarlo. . . . recibí la factura completa, el servicio al cliente realmente pobre no volverá aquí nuevamente.

Must say i was disappointed with the ice cream quality of this place. No difference to supermarket own brand! And very expensive.

Ordered 2 teas, a waffle with strawberries and ice cream and a hot cookie dough with ice cream and banana, well the waffle came first and was clearly from a packet and warmed up with a couple of chopped strawberrys, the cookie dough was just a warm cookie about the size of one you'd get from subway with a scoop of ice cream and a sliced banana. they also forgot one of the teas! For what it was, it was overpriced at £14. Much better places in Leyton.... Or if you want the same experience just grab fruit, ice cream and ready made cookies or waffles from tesco, it'll cost you half the price and you're less likely to forget your own drinks unlike this shambles of a restaurant!!!

Greeted by 4 Europeans outside the shop smoking away I thought I was walking in to a drug deal to buy a bag of 10 Untill I realised they all work there by running in to make your shake with there smelly hands how nice

Helados y postres versus menú son pobres. El servicio es malo, incluso con 5 chicas de Europa oriental que sirve, uno de pasar 5 minutos en el baño mientras yo estaba en el retrete.

El servicio no es nada especial, la camarera era vago para voltear el partido menú a la portada y dijo simplemente.

Stopped by here for desserts during the afternoon with some friends, we were the only customers..Ordered our desserts and then had a man who I believe was in charge say 'pay now at the till' or something , was in slight shock at the blunt and rude attitude .. And also wasnt expecting to pay at a dessert restaurant/parlour before being served..Basically he continued being rude, needs a lesson on customer service or just basic etiquetter tbhFunny part- heard him rattle off to the lovely girls working there saying , give that to table eight , okay EIGHT .. XD bear in mind we were the only people there I'd just personally avoid :) Service makes of break these kinda of places

Visited Afters in Leyton for nephews birthday celebrations, orders were mixed up and deserts served In plastic containers and no cutlery supplied. Bad quality deserts, fruit desert contained tinned fruit And to top it off, staff at till got bill wrong, all had paid up yet they were adamant one person in our group had'nt paid up !!!Needless to say won't be going there again !

Sofas were quite torn up... Menus look abused... Prices are quite high, but the deserts are nice I guess... Id rather go sweet choice if I'm totally honest

I've been in Afters Haringey with my husband and one more couple. We ordered different waffles, and one lady bring 2 waffles in a short time. After that, she bring the other 2, and I realised that the waffle is not fresh. It is frosted and disgusting! When I said that I don't want to eat a frosted waffle, she said why I ordered from menu and I didn't said that I want a fresh one. When I said "I thought it's fresh" she just said "really?" ..Well, was my first and my LAST time there! Not recommended!!!

Nice mint choc chip but a bit more of seating wasn't really that piss about seating like the colour they use nice atmosphere

1 member of staff was working, our order took forever when it come it tasted horrible left a disgusting after taste in my mouth. The shop got extremely busy at one point, the member of staff was clearly over whelmed and started to cry as many customers became rude and inpatient. She tried many times to call the manager or someone for back up, when he finally arrived he didn't even apologise to her or any customer's. 2 of our order's came wrong, I understand she was under pressure trying to get everything done but at the time of our order there was only 1 other customer in the shop. My sister ended up helping her by collecting used plates and bowls of the tables. Wouldn't go again.

I dont visit here unless friends meet here, nothing special in there desserts. But place is pretty great for big groups/ gatherings

Went there last Saturday at around 11.55pm. It was still open and lucky for us they had what we ordered. In terms of price it's a bit expensive, but considering from a business point of view, I think it's fair. We had ferrero rocher Shake, ice cream, waffle and falooda and all were nice. Will visit again for sure.

Afters used to be my favourite.Today I went in with my partner and 3 kids.It was very quiet not busy as per. Toilets are filthy tables are dirty.Out of the 5 dessert 1 arrived late after we all had finished. Spoke to a tall built man with a pink t shirt his excuses were staff are all new?! He was on the phone 4 other staff members were hanging around. Would not recommend.

The level of service at Afters Leyton is, to say the very least, inconsistant.This relates to the unengaging and bored looking staff to the treats themselves and lastly to the off menu prices of extras that change from visit to visit.My review is based over a few visits of eating in and taking out.Apart from the cooked treats like waffles, the shakes and ice creams are not bad but the cones are stale and not crisp.The waffles and cakes are terrible. The hot drinks are terrible.To top this off, the table service staff would look more at home in a DIY store than serving at an American style dessert parlour.They are shuffling or slouching with bored and a F you look about them which in my view would make customers feel very unwelcome. Fellas behind the counter could learn some customer service too. Because they look like the world owes them a favour of sorts.Every time I try to give this place a chance, it disappoints royally.A consistant menu of tasty desserts with a price to reflect (very overpriced for what is served) and a 100% boost in customer service is what this place needs.

Afters is delicious went there for Eid with family and the ice cream is delicious .I would definitely recommend it

Went with approx 14people after a meal at a local place. Everyone ordered either a milkshake, cake, coffee or a nice cream!!I had a cheesecake and espresso. My colleagues loved their ice creams. Service was quick, efficient and the staff were friendly. My wife had a waffle and ice cream. She did not finish it. The waffle was reheated, not fresh and was stodgy. She didn't enjoy the ice cream either. This was my first time at this branch. May pop back again, just for a shake or a scoop or two, definitely not the waffle!!

Afters is situated off a main High Road, but no problems with parking and permits bays e.t.c. The restaurant is really funky with an American 50's diner feel with pink and black decor. The children thought the diner looked great. The kids section of the menu on pages 12 -13 is not affordable for a group of children - £5.00 for one item. The restaurant really needs to offer an affordable choice for children (in the kids section). The restaurant was empty considering it was half term and should’ve been full, but due to high prices not affordable for the area.Two members of staff were in the shop and neither looked liked they should’ve been there. The staff need to look more engaged with their customers, and an area that needs vast improvements. Also it the shop is empty then all the tables should be cleaned for the next customers.
