I went for my weekly shopping. I do not know what is happening to Sainsbury's! Bad quality food on the shelfs.,fruit & veg mouldy.Hardly anything on the shelfs..I brought asparagus the tips were all black & the smell was disgusting. Pears, peaches & Avocado's not ripening or if they do ripen they go mouldy. Always a smelly mouldy potato or onion when you buy a bag. loafs...seems that slices of bread are short in the packet. Fed up with the place...pure greed, everything being made smaller but more expensive. You buy toiletries...they only sell smaller bottles/ then u have to pay more! Sponges fall apart! And this thing about using your nectar card to get things cheaper is a load of Rubbish! Sainsbury's are robbing their customers more & more! They just don't care!

This is the worst store in the area by a mile. Sainsbury's in general is becoming a bad shopping experience but this one particular store is testament to the policy of large margins to billionaire owners at the expense of suppliers, frontline staff, and customers. This is a large store which used to have huge traffic, this is now much quieter. Since it's the most convenient store for us, we keep trying to make it work, but get worse and worse service each time so we just go to waitrose, tesco, or go a bit further to Lidl, exceptionally we'll go to a smaller sainsbury's which isn't so trashy. I assume it's still profitable since it is still open, but the cost cutting is now rather extreme, I assume one last attempt at making it work and forcing customers to accept the new status quo: you shall work for your food. This shop historically would have 15-20 tills, this has been reduced to 8, almost note are manned. If you are lucky, you will have two tills open, with about 20-25 min wait, alternatively they have tons of self service checkouts with about 10-15min wait (plus the time you have to clock in working for Sainsbury's shareholders). This store is the perfect example of the future of shopping if these companies/hedge funds which own the oligopoly of food supply in the UK. The number of shops with permanent till service is nil, and the number of shops which have regular till service is dwindling. You'll be lucky if you get any service anywhere. What's next, you stock the shelves for 15 minutes or you don't get your shopping...? You unload a truck if you want your shop...? The most enraging part is not even that billionaires are getting richer from this, since prices are higher, this lack of service is not reflected in the price; the most enraging part is seeing the workers who get paid minimum wage if that (there are countless stories of these stores making workers stay longer for free and serious breaches of working rights) and they collaborate in this scheme which inevitably will take them out of a job. It's senseless... and all you have to do is stop using self checkout... go somewhere else... it may cost an extra £5 in your shopping cart, but if you can afford it, do it...

What the hell is wrong with Sainsbury's went in to buy items of children's clothes I ask the girl to take the metal pin of so I could buy them I am standing in the queue waiting to pay! The idiot shop assistant treated me like I was going to steel them. I could have screamed at her how dare her show me up in front of everyone! Sainsbury's have gone right down hill...employ more people!

Bad service, cheap and inorganic products, plus with expensive price. In addition, across Sainsbury's bread slicers aren't becoming available to shoppers. This has made us switch to alternative suppliers. Time to reverse!

For the second time in the last couple of months, I experienced appalling customer service at the Smart shop self-checkout . I had a problem with the Nectar app and sought help from a manager at the checkout area as he was nearest to me; he rudely gestured at me to consult another member of staff. I spoke to the staff member who could not answer my question comprehensively and I could see she did not really understand the question. I asked the same manager again, as I noted he was observing our discussion with the stafff member from afar, yet he could not be bothered to help. He was very rude to me and joined forces with the other staff member, both of them accusing me of blocking the way, which was not true. My query regarding the app was not answered. With much frustration and disappointment with the way I was treated, I left my trolley of selected groceries without making a purchase. I wonder why Sainsbury's would employ such a rude manager who has no concern for customers, and who sets such a bad example to junior staff? I will not be shopping at Sainsbury's Nine Elms again.

Really unpleasant welcome by door staff... went in a large group for a birthday...last person to enter was me (my birthday) ...they made a big deal that it was exactly midnight when I got through security, so charged me for entry and laughed about the poor customer experience they were giving. Very rude and put a downer on our night.

Incomprensiblemente s / hite. Pedí un Old Fashioned. Me quejo . . . No, a regañadientes sigo bebiendo. . .
