I used to be slightly wary of this place. Went in recently on the off chance, and it was way better than I expected. Clean, bright and largely well behaved. Nice staff and mostly, locals. Only one weirdo let the side down ever so slightly, but then what do you expect?!

Food wasn't that great, I've had burgers in many wetherspoons and this one was by far the worst burger. Drinks were okay and seating area was okay. Was just the food.

I love the food at Wetherspoons Brixton, the taste is excellent, and my food always gets served promptly, the portions are right, and the staff is friendly even if they are busy they always try to do everything at high standards. Don't forget the drinks too…many different drinks for a great price!! Highly recommended…

Great beer and a fair selection of great beer. Very tasty and fresh beer with nice staff and great beer. Great place to stop in for a beer if you're in the area. I had beer, it was great, think I'll go for the beer next time though as it looked particularly great.

I’m shocked at the ratings for this place but given that Londoners have been conditioned to accept terrible copy and paste chain pubs as something positive whilst the last remnants of individuality disappear from the city, maybe it’s not surprising. Saying that, the smell and dirt of the place alongside the clientele must make The Beehive one of the worst pubs in the city?

A place with a great atmosphere! A large selection of craft beers, delicious haze 😇. Food at a very good price and very tasty - Fish and chips - our favorite! Phenomenal, friendly service, helpful people who make the atmosphere in the pub much nicer - great people! We will definitely visit again!

Chef can't make poached eggs.this place is rubbish and better to avoid.

Very convenient as its in the south terminal which is right by the train station and local and national buses. It's also before security so anyone can use it. Menu prices are a bit more than a high street pub but still reasonable. Service is also fast and there are normally tables available.

Not a huge fan of Wetherspoons but this place does the area a wonderful service. It’s slightly down-at-heel, and rather battered around the edges - rather like this area of Brixton! But it has the required range of beer and lagers. Haven’t had the food but it’s the usual Spoons’ menu. A reliable bolt hole!

A fairly glum Spoons, handy for the station. The usual sticky tables and saddo's without a drink watching noisy clips on their phones, unaware of the irritation they cause to all and sundry. However the service was good, the ale was on good form and it cost a pittance - which is why I popped in! 😊

Don't usually have to pay to swap an item on my breakfast but at this particular pub I did for some reason . I was then hurried to make my order. Breakfast then came as I sat down at my table which was a total of 1 minute at most which I also found unusual.

worst food I've ever had at a wetherspoon. pizza had bits of rocks or stone as if it fell on the floor, but didn't look like it did. the nachos were awful especially the salsa. the picture shows exactly what I mean. looked as if the salsa was mixed with water and and tasted more like ketchup. A month later. It's still pathetic. Have my pizza and didn't even cut it.

Barman from Brum was fantastic. Extremely busy difficult to find a table and when we did needed cleaning. Great atmosphere in there Service was excellent.

Very disappointing, I am giving it zero star because the food was terrible,the table was dirty no one came to clean it so I had to do it myself, the food was cold. I ordered a vegan meal, which was sopose to be a burger in a bun with chips, no salad with the burger, and I was told there was salad with it. My friend ordered a mixed grill, and that was not cooked properly and was cold, so we had no lunch. The place is shameless, very dirty, and no one seems to care. Bad experience

Oh wow a proper old English pub! This place was buzzing and had a character of it's own. Such a lively atmosphere, good beer, good music and a really nice menu. I would definitely go again when I'm in the area.

Manager on shift had no care for Customer service. Probably the worst spoons I’ve ever been to. Can’t complain about food or staff wondering around though

Despite the best efforts of some (not all) of the staff, this place falls short of being a nice place to drink and have some fun. Much of this blame is only on the clientele and the problems derived from it.

Work in a wetherspoons and this is the dirtiest one I have been in Toilets disgusting and bugs flying around our table. Staff lovely and friendly, just a shame about cleaning

Small spoons in Brixton, not the most exciting yet seemed busy enough and eventually found a table for a drink, sadly didn't stay for as long as we originally planned (we were originally in for a quick spot of lunch) but only ended up staying for one drink in the end as after multiple tries on finding something to eat that was in stock we moved along. Staff were polite though and the drinks we had came quickly, just lack of food options on the day.

Two out of three burger were not as ordered. The beef were more than well done but the bacon hardly warm. Not a pleasant experience. The service were fine as they were used to excuse for the kitchen.

Never been in a such vile discriminating establishment who have hired staff that have no personality and textbook idiots.. you had a problem with two people I care for and are mentally challenged.. you come and scare them an d tell them they are barred but not one your staff could come up with any reasons apart from he scared a invisible staff member who had to go home early.. need to hired more experienced adult staff

Bad because of the security guard was rude because I had in beer there 3 hours ago and member of staff nice give me a beer I come back with my girlfriend I got ask iD but it’s a bit strange staff got me a drink and the security guard stopped me I was trying to be reasonable with him saying one of you member of staff got me a drink i point him out he didn’t let me in too lazy to ask. Abuse as well use there power security there it was a black guy.

Bit tatty. Food was ok. Mine was supposed to be served with sticky soy sauce (which I really like with my chicken) but came with BBQ (which I'm not keen on). Asked the barman if the kitchen had the sticky soy and he had no idea what I was talking about!

It's a Weatherspoons at the end of the day. Food, standard, drinks, typical, but... It has an atmosphere like no other I've been in. The staff and customers were so welcoming it was lime walking into your old school local. Loved it.

It was very busy on the day of the coronation and yet they still maintained the pub to a standard where you could eat at a reasonable time and they collect your plates when your done.

Very friendly and chatty bar staff. Been a few times now and always a good feeling.

Really helpful staff, even without easy disabled access. They put the slope out for me and gave great service. The only downside was the number of times I got people walking up to me while I was eating begging?

My friend was told he was too drunk, which we were a bit confused by as he’d only had two drinks, but we left as we were told. Outside the pub, my friend was then shoved to the ground and berated by the security staff for no apparent reason. Very unpleasant experience.

Standard Wetherspoons. The place has seen better days and could probably do with a refurbishment but it’s got an excellent location and friendly efficient staff. They have some weird menu items here that I’ve not seen available at other Wetherspoons.

My friend and I always go to this place, but yesterday, Saturday, February 4, we were there around 6:30 p.m. and the security didn't let us in because we didn't have ID, we stayed there for a while at the door, seeing if all the people He was asking them for ID and we saw how he allowed people from his country to enter without ID and he laughingly said they were his family. I believe that if there are rules in that place they should be for everyone, not just for some and not for others because that is discrimination. You can see the cameras at that time and verify that it is true that he lets people pass without ID. When I told him, he began to make fun of us and approach us abusively. We were sad because we like that place

The only jd weatherspoon I have visited and been serve in some old class other you buy a pint of Stella you get it in a Stella glass

Usual Wetherspoon food. I particularly enjoyed the fish and chips. Had a non acholic cider for the first time. Tasted quite nice actually. Cozy booth created a lovely atmosphere for a catch up with the ladies.

Great meals and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We'll come back!
