Just awful, awful food. Cheap sausage, cold, flabby bacon. It’s a prime location and would be amazing to have something better here!

I ordered my food to go, and the server (with long, un-tied hair) prepared my meal after wiping down his hair without washing his hands. This was a bit uneasy but upon opening my food at work, I found a hair in one of the meals. Not wearing a hair net and not washing hands regularly while preparing people's food is a big worry.

We went to this shop carrying a bag of food to take home. The man behind the till immediately shouted “that’s not allowed here”. I told him we didn’t have any intention to eat it there. He didn’t even apologise for what he did. I still ordered coffee and food despite the treatment we got. Turns out, it wasn’t even worth it. The coffee was awful and overpriced. Don’t waste your money in this shop!

I popped in here on my way to a meeting to grab some breakfast. I didn’t bother with the coffee as it was overpriced in my opinion. I went here as I fancied a bagel and knew they offered this. It was awful, it didn’t taste like a bagel at all, rather a stale bread roll. And at £4.29 I think it was way overpriced. Won’t be returning.

Liverpool St station is a bit limited if you want something hot. It was late at night and I was attracted to the sign advertising soup. The choice was tomato or beef chilli. As I had eaten nothing but a bag of crisps since lunch I thought beef soup might make a meal. It tasted nice - was very hot indeed (should have taken it away and let it cool down a bit). It contained mostly vegetables, particularly beans, and although there was a brown liquid surrounding the veg that was the closest it had been to any beef. I'm not complaining, and I got some nice bread with it. The servers were very nice a helpful. There is a fair supply of seating.

Although this is called the Camden Food Co to give you the impression of some form of local, trendy food service this is in fact owned by SSP one of the largest 'travel' caterers in the world. I didn't know that at the time I went in but subsequently found out, if I'd known I would have avoided this place as I find many of SSP's station catering outlets have nice pictures, marketing and branding but are short on attention to many details needed to deliver anything worthwhile. I went in here around 9.45 for a late breakfast on Sunday morning. I ordered a pannini and a coffee - simple. The staff were unfriendly to the point of scowling - they had a laugh amongst themselves though over something. Food was served fairly quickly but I had to sit down and wait for my coffee as the barista had made the person behind me two hot chocolates instead. nothing major, just one sign of inefficiency. The pannini was practically scalding with boiling hot cheese inside it. The coffee was too hot to drink and hot enough to burn tongues - nowhere near the perfect 60 degrees.I don't know how long it had been open but already there was customers' detritus on a number of tables, surfaces hadn't been wiped and it was all rather grubby. Wouldn't have thought it's too difficult to manage to keep clean as there are only 7 or 8 small tables inside. The sugar/accompaniments stand 9whatever you call it) was covered in coffee spills and empty wrappers. I cleared a table and sat down.Once the pannni had cooled down enough to eat it was like chewing my way through cardboard. One half really was tough and partially biscuity. the filling was absolutely tasteless, some sort of bland cheese and chicken that I could only recognise through its texture. Total pannini contrast - 14 hours earlier I was enjoying the most melt in the mouth pannini in Munich airport with perfect lightly crisped outside and the tastiest cheese and ham filling. I find it hard to leave food when I'm hungry but I left half of this. I also had to leave about 3/4 of my coffee - i don't know what blend they use but it's quite a bitter one and certainly wasn't to my liking. That might be personal taste rather than anything objective but having had the finest cups of coffee that Florence and other parts of Italy can produce I do think I know!I cleared my table. Just to help - so the next customer wouldn't have to. Maybe I picked the wrong sandwich on the wrong day. The prices didn't seem unreasonable (for overpriced station fayre, it was about right). All round this was everything that's wrong about mass catering - the food, the service, the cleanliness. No attention to detail whatsoever.

Birmingham New Street - the station is in a state of being re-worked and finding some decent food was a bit of a mission. So, I came across The Camden Food Company's outlet and bought a Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese roll with a packet of Kettle Chips (the crisps not made by The Camden Food Company). The Kettle Chips were delicious (as you'd expect). As for the roll, I can honestly say that this company seem to be single handedly trying to resurrect the infamous quality of the curly edged British Rail sandwich of yesteryear. The filling some some indescribable mash up of salmon and SOMETHING ELSE (and certainly not the slices of smoked salmon that you'd expect. If there was any trace of cream cheese in there I wasn't able to detect it. The roll had an almost tooth breakingly hard outer casing (I wouldn't even call it a crust) and an inner bread-like substance that required a mahusive amount of mastication before being able to swallow it.Overpriced food, appalling filling, revolting bread. Avoid.

We arrived the Liverpool Street station wanting a place for a quick bite and to sit down...this place ticked both boxes. Granted it is well worn but very few places in the station offer a grab and go type venue with seating. This is a case of don't judge a book by it's cover...not much to look at from the outside nor inside but the food was decent and the service was friendly. Not sure we'd revisit, but don't regret finding this place today.

Stopped off before getting a train back to Norwich. Don't bother. Soup of the day-tomato and marscapone - cheap product, expensive retail price and was re-heated in the microwave so lost all heat by the time I was half way through it. Bread rolls-cost 35p each to go with soup, cheap small, heated from frozen in a microwave in front of me and thus had awful texture. Tea-twinnings everyday tea-quality tea but when you order a large tea you still only get one teabag = weak tea - sad times. The camden food co goes on about products being made fresh everday- yet the shelves were full of sandwiches at 10pm on a thursday night....Who wouldnt bet these sandwiches were still going to be sold the next day.My advice, if you've got time try weatherspoons £1-£4 more but you would get decent food or in a rush try one of the many pret a mangers nearby that are worldclass compared to what I experienced at Camden food co

Most disappointing, The wait staff seemed very friendly but there were at least four people giving them orders so the place seemed rather confused. After we were escorted to a seat we felt somewhat abandoned and after about five minutes had to get up, walk to the desk and ask for menus. My wife’s French Toast arrived and was accompanied by 8 berries and a single tablespoon of whipped cream, only one side of the slice of bread had been immersed in egg. My Hot Chocolate was so watery that I left most of it behind. In fact we had eaten half of our meal before we could flag down a staff member and enquire about our yet-to-arrive drinks only to be told that the bar was very busy. Well that certainly made us feel better. We eventually left our half-eaten food behind, paid the bill and left, never to return. Until the quality of food and service improves I would recommend avoiding this place.

Rather expensive. Also a limited range of drinks for children. Central London prices (£3.85 for a bottled milkshake?!) which may explain why it seemed rather quiet.
