The best restaurants serving British food in London

staff look so nervous and mood was verry sombre it’s changed since the new owners have taken over will not be coming back as food is not even that nice and is overpriced for what you get

We went there during february. It's a very good address for eating a brunch, near from Camden town. Don't hesitate to go there !

The staff were kind and friendly, however it could benefit with a lot more staff during peak times as the service was incredibly slow. Quite a few options for hot and cold snacks/food/drinks. Gluten Free is quite limited though.

Cosy room above the pub. Pre arrival instructions were thorough and clear. When pub is closed you use the firestairs via beer garden. Narrow stairwell, tricky for awkward luggage. Room was warm, clean and cosy.Noise stops by 1130pm. Super close to Euston station so convenient for catching trains. Shared bathroom was a bit inconvenient as you had to wait to use toilet and shower. Otherwise a great stay

Revisité un viejo lugar mío de hace 50 años, que ha tenido un cambio de imagen de mis viejos días bebiendo allí, pero en muchos aspectos sigue siendo el mismo. Ocupado con mucha gente bebiendo afuera y una pinta de cerveza decente. No comimos allí. En general un pub decente y trajo buenos recuerdos, pero hay pubs más interesantes en la zona.

I believe the place is called Madeleine`s (they gave me a card with this name). I had a brioche and a coffee; they were both below average. You would aspect from those interdependent shops to have higher quality of food but unfortunately not. The food and beverages are better in chains like Pret-a-Manger or Starbucks

I asked if they had any vegan croissant and the guy said to me he could make an avocado toast, but he then said, that’s not really vegan, right? It’s political. Will never go again.

I celebrated my 80th birthday on the afternoon of October 13th We had a couple of pre- bash meetings with Kevin the owner who immediately put us at ease We decided to book the Den which is a side room for a max of 40 people so for us with 34 Adults and ; kids it was perfect We went for the £20.00 a head buffet which everyone commented on + Teas & coffee and selection of small finger cakes We also instead of having a full on birthday cake Kevin advised us to go for cup cakes instead ( what a great choice Lee who was our host for the day never put a foot wrong neither fix the lady who run the bar ( whose name escapes me ) The Chef also deserves a high five as well Thank you Jaxons for a great day

Heard a lot about the place. Hard to get a booking. Restaurant is happening. Food is excellent with a big focus on meat. Food takes a long time though. Prices are on the high side

Very good quality food, well presented, good selection for a full English breakfast. Choice of eggs I had poached they was spot on. Sausage and bacon quality was very good. Much to the disappointment of my son who was hopping for Richmond lol

I booked Tea Party as part of my friends hen do. Sam was so helpful and responsive from the start and made the booking process so easy. She also helped me to decide about options for the tea and decorations which I found very useful. On the day, the room was beautifully decorated and laid out. We added some bits of our own too like photographs which Sam was very accommodating about. When my friend arrived, she burst into tears as the venue was so special and just for her! Sam and her staff we extremely attentive throughout the tea, constantly topping up the food and refilling our drinks. The food was delicious also, really lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes, patisserie and scones. We had a fantastic afternoon there, played games and just enjoyed having our own space for afternoon tea. I scouted out a lot of afternoon tea spots in London and wouldn’t have found better than this one. It is very reasonably priced, great selection of food, beautifully decorated and fantastic service. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you Sam!

This is potentially a Venue of fun full of the typical pastimes to entertain to your heart's content. Forthcoming music events are key to its future success.

Service superb greeting and smiles, greatly improved menu since last visit, chips more fresh. Enjoyed the triple side dish of tzatziki, humus, red pepper tomato onion salsa
