The food and cakes were good tho not really anything special. However the reason for my bad review is the personal! They were incredibly rude to all customers (including children) which I think is very bad. Go here if you need a break on your walk, but NOT if you expect a nice staff

Right next to Kenwood House; coffee and pastry were fine - the outside seating area is large. Attendant robin waiting for crumbs.

So we decided to eat in the cafe. It was ok, not fabulous. Sausage and mash under seasoned and soggy broccoli, the stuffed sweet potato was better though bland. Some condiments would have helped but ‘we don’t offer them”. Huge mistake. As per usual only Diet Coke as a sugar free option, there’s so much more you could offer. I’d pop up the rd for better grub but the gardens were gorgeous.

A lovely cafe in beautiful surroundings. The food is delicious, home made cakes and scones excellent. Very enjoyable to sit outside on a sunny day.

Strange that on a very busy Sunday they have just 2 staff who are clearly not happy, rushed off their feet and wish they were at McDonalds. The place can not cope with being busy and the lack of management and foresight is alarming.

We arrived around 1.15pm after a morning of pouring rain but by the time we arrived at Kenwood, there were hints of sunshine and people were beginning to recolonise the extensive outdoor sitting area outside the Cafe. Inside the cafe in the old brewhouse is decorated with 18th prints appkied to the walls like an old print room. We were ready for lunch when we arrived and there was a variety of options including light dishes such as quiche and salad or full courses such as beef or chicked. Our group had a mixture - all was very tasty and quite filling. In addition, there were sandwiches and cakes available, olus flavoured water for once our drinks ran out. The staff were friendly and service was pretty quick, despite the time of day, and we had an enjoyable energy boost for the remainder of our visit to Kenwood.

I called in here lunchtime with my brother to have a walk sit down and something to eat. Unfortunately the car park was full but I managed to find a parking space on the road outside so I think I was lucky because it looked quite busy. We had a nice tour around Kenwood house which is free to enter there is some absolutely amazing artwork in there plus the house itself has interesting decorative features. We then sat on the grass for halfAn hour. We then went to the brewhouse for something to eat. I had the chicken breast salad it was really nice cost £11.50. After we brought the drinks outside and sat in the Sun. It was very busy but the service was pretty brisk so no complaints there. This is a must see place especially as it’s free to enter the house the grounds are excellent.

Enjoyed morning coffee here so much we returned for lunch and were not disappointed. The only slight niggle was a person with a dog sitting in the small dog-free area when there was plenty of space where dogs are welcome, but that is not the place's fault.

Sunday lunch with friends. They had the Sunday roast, plus an extra portion of (giant) sausage roll. Mine was the veggie quiche and salad. Veggie option a little light on flavour, but carnivores enjoyed the generous portions of meat.

The enormous sausage roll and salad was delightful. Thank you for letting us share a plate. Surrounding good too, and plenty of free tap water

Cafe thinks it's upmarket but really I've had better sandwiches in a greasy spoon! £9 for 2 rounds of dry tasteless bread masquerading as sandwiches! I don't think so! Avoid.

I have come here a few times over the years and the café is certainly better than many years ago. I had a nice smoked salmon sandwich but it was a bit pricey at over £5. Also the choice is rather small and there is limited seating inside - but plenty outdoors. I think there may be additional indoor nearby but am not sure. Probably better for coffee and cake than a main meal. For a great Italian café head to the south end of the Heath near Gospel Oak.

Just as i walked in signes "do dogs" everywhere. It is coffee place in the middle of the most beautiful park in London. Half of people around are worn dogs. What a waste of space.

Good choice of drinks and cakes, a nice staff but not so pleasant as House volunteers. A great place when you want to have a little break after the visit of the house and gardens

Searcys who do the catering here are really not trying very hard. It's relatively expensive and the quality is appalling. Full English breakfast was farcically bad with utterly horrid scrambled (congealed) eggs and Poundland style sausages, bacon and hash browns. Whole experience felt like some kind of terrible allegory for current U.K. situation. Back to the 70s with a light dusting of Apprentice-style hipster-lite.

Lunch was very disappointing for a vegetarian. Quorn cooked to resemble mincemeat and bland mushroom soup served in a ramekin with handles with a doorstep of good brown bread. It used to be so wonderful before the present owners took it over. Wonderful when the weather is good enough to sit outside but then it gets very busy. I won't come for lunch again but will come for breakfast (the vegetarian and regular breakfast is superb) and I will come for coffee and cake.

Outside for dog walkers and inside or in the garden of the pet-less. Wherever you sit the food is always tasty and fresh - a lovely place fro a lunchtime or teatime treat

Went to brew house for brunch last sun mid morning. Luke warm coffee; dry scrambled eggs; cold toast, too much hollandaise, one meal arrived 20 mins after other person had started, all very disappointing.

Simple and good basic food- salad soup and pie. Nice to relax there after a long walk through the park.

Recently came here for a visit during our trip to London for a few beers. Had to visit as my brother had worked here many years ago. Beer was great. Staff was friendly.
