The Old Nick in Camden

Decent traditional pub with a bustling evening crowd. Decent range of beers and friendly service. And enough seats and tables for those that want them.

This is a great old pub and worth checking out if you’re in Holborn. Lovely preserved features and a great pint. Check out the great selection of photos and prints on the walls

My recent experience at the Old Nick pub in Holborn was unfortunately disappointing. The primary issue was the insistence on using plastic glasses for drinks, despite the visible availability of traditional glassware behind the bar. This detracted significantly from the enjoyment of our beverages. When inquired, the staff indicated that they preferred not to use glassware to avoid the need for cleaning them. This decision, seemingly prioritizing convenience over customer experience, was a letdown for myself and my colleagues. Beer was good

I discovered this place quite by chance I'm just from the outside it looks wonderful charming and clean and on the inside it was not disappointing at all! It is the kind of place you could while the day away on a very rainy day in London. The food was fantastic and not expensive at all the place looks lovely a wonderful wooden interior just like your quintestential English pub should be.

Went in April of 2022 with a group tour. Had the best Shepard 's pie! The staff was friendly and courteous. !

Not been open for a while but a memorable venue, fantastic live music by the Black IPs and what cauliflower!

Used to use this pub sometimes when I worked about a hundred metres away at Raymond Buildings over a decade ago. Not much has changed, still a good independent pub with lots of different areas for customers and welcoming, friendly staff. There's the usual wide selection of traditional real ales, craft beers and lagers and some big multinational beer brands on offer. I didn't eat, so can't comment on the food but my pint of Tangle Foot was excellent. Worth trying this pub if you're in the area.

I popped in to this pub when I was in the area and had a half a lager, staff were friendly and the Lager was nice, it was a warm welcoming atmosphere and as a solo visitor I didn't feel uncomfortable. I love dit there

Worst pub in the area. Avoid at all costs. Went there for lunch and am allergic to gluten. The staff despite the “new” menu being a week old couldn’t provide any allergy information despite all menus that say ‘ask staff for allergy information’. The staff were extremely unhelpful - one guy couldn’t even be bothered to find out and had to be asked 4 times. Will never return and am telling all of my colleagues not to go. Avoid avoid avoid

Our regular spot for after work drinks and now a from favourite for food with the new pop up menu from The Cheeky Indian. The teams favourite dish was the buffalo wings and the Butter Chicken Mac and cheese. Another fun night made better, thumbs up and highly recommend 👍🏽

Great spot for after work drinks and quick service. It gets absolutely packed out on a Thursday and Friday.

A traditional pub in Holborn with particularly amazing staff members :-) I'd like to revisit one day.

Having a gin and light tonic here , While waiting for our booking at the next door Italian restaurant Isolabella. Very busy inside and also outside ( some light showers ) on this Friday 18:18 Staff are good

We had a Few Beers 🍻in here to celebrate the forthcoming holiday at the end of the year, it was a nice atmosphere with a good selection of drinks. Although it was fairly busy, it did not appear to be crowded which I like as I don’t like being packed in.

Retains its London city type character with a good range of beers, spirits and soft drinks - staff need to cheer up a bit, but may be the heat today made it hard work for them! Recommended for a good after work pint and Pork scratching (not sure if they sell them though!) 👍🏼

We stopped for a break and a drink and desert with my children. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this establishment.

I went to the Old Nick last night with a bunch of friends. I paid £7.15 for a very inferior glass of house red - possibly the most expensive bad wine I've ever tasted. We're not going there again

Enjoying our drinks on this very busy Friday evening. Fortunately we managed to find an available table , for our drink before we go to dinner at Isolabella ( Best Italian in Holborn ) Service is very prompt Highly recommended after office hours.

Popped in to The Old Nick for post-lunch drinks and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and choice of beers here. Attentive staff and a great ambience makes this a venue to go back to next time I'm in the area.

Este es un Badger pub. Sea o no te gusta las cervezas, la pintas en el Viejo Nick son horribles, aunque saben como las líneas nunca han sido limpiadas. Espumoso sidra sale del grifo plana. Uno o dos pintas provocar una resaca la mañana siguiente. Mal.

Tomó un colega aquí para comer, nunca he estado tan avergonzado. La comida era horrible. Peces n chips... Y luego más claramente congelados fritos. Un lado de pieles de patata que rebosa grasa como me corten. No comer mucho, no la camarera pregunta ¿por qué? Pues no, claro que no interesa en absoluto. No volveremos y sugerirle a hacer lo mismo!

The staff here have always been very friendly and my colleagues and I often pop into the Old Nick after work or during lunch for a pint or two.The food is nothing particularly interesting but around the corner towards Red Lion Square there are some great places to eat.

Great Hall & Woodhouse cervezas de barril. Y la comida de pub es decente para el almuerzo. Ya sea un bocado en el almuerzo o una cerveza en la noche, este lugar está muy bien escondido detrás Holborn High Road.

Este local é bastante típico a muitos outros pubs de Londres. Barulho e muita cerveja caracterizam o ambiente!
