Tuli syötyä perinteinen leivitetty turska ja perunat. Vallan maistuva annos. Pepperonipitsassa oli kuulemma liikaa juustoa. Kohtuulliset hinnat ja hyvä palvelu.

Called in for one drink and ended enjoying a lovely meal here as well . Staff were friendly and atmosphere was good..... Definitely worth a visit.

Abbiamo cenato, vicino al nostro albergo, in questo semplice locale in Russell Square. Mio marito ed io abbiamo mangiato del pollo teriyaki, con salsa di soia e mirin (sakè dolce), insalata con quinoa, del prosecco e dell'acqua naturale. Abbiamo speso £16.30. Il cibo era discreto, siamo rimasti soddisfatti soprattutto per la tranquillità del locale.

Unico pregio l’hamburger, per il resto lasciamo stare sia per l’igiene, tovaglioli e posate sporchi.Sia per la qualità del pane e delle salse.

First time we've eaten here though passed it many times. Good for fish and chips and a hamburger sitting across from Russell Square just above the sidewalk . Glad we tried it finally, would return.

I expected to pay a little more than I would in Sheffield, but was pleasantly surprised to get a large baguette and capuccino for £7.50. I'm reasonably greedy but I couldn't finish my meal.

Mientras esperábamos al marido de mi amigo, nos acercamos a este bar para tomar un refrigerio. Nos sorprendió ya que la comida y la bebida eran mucho mejores de lo esperado. Teníamos nachos, con chiles excepcionalmente geniales, excelentes, pasta, hamburguesas y baguette. Realmente bueno, a un precio muy razonable. Un gran hallazgo.

Qualidade/preço muito bom para restaurante de hotel, fomos 2 vezes ao jantar depois de caminhar durante horas e horas por Londres mas foi uma agradável supresa, dos pratos que provei destaco o hambúrguer muito bom, mas os outros pratos como o fish and chips e o bife estavam bons! Recomendo

13 of us unexpectedly ended up here for lunch on Monday 25 March, we were going to lunch at another pub but their chef didn’t arrive. Night and Day had a good area where we could all sit together and the lunches came out hot and fast, good service and a great time had by all.

My sister and I went into this bar/restaurant for an evening meal on our first night of arriving in London for the weekend. We chose Fish and Chips and it was absolutely lovely, it was fresh hot and very tasty and filling.

Vinimos aquí para cenar después de llegar tarde a Londres, no había nada más abierto en el área que todavía sirviera comida y necesitábamos desesperadamente una cena y una bebida. Las bebidas eran buenas ya un precio razonable, así como la comida! La bruschetta, que incluye guacamole era fresco y fantástico! También tuvimos un pastel de bistec y cerveza y un pastel vegetariano con batatas, queso de cabra, espinacas y mucho más. Ambos fueron muy agradables! Terminamos aquí por casualidad, ¡pero nos alegramos de haberlo hecho!

The outside terrace might be pleasant on a warm day and if it was free of smokers. I sat inside for a pint of beer which was enjoyable but I was not inclined to have another.

Llegué al hotel de al lado un poco temprano, así que decidí tomar una cerveza y una comida. El bar es muy típico, alrededor de 6 pantallas grandes que golpean el fútbol. Fue tranquilo incluso para la hora del almuerzo y la única persona que servía y estaba a cargo fue extremadamente amable y me dio la bienvenida de inmediato. Went here to watch the Champions league game. They make a point of showing the games and several fans had already settled in by the time we arrived. Fairly straightforward bar but it was a pretty good atmosphere during the game. They have a limited menu, but we had just eaten.

Theres some good things about this place, mainly location and convience in being able to get food and drink late on in the evening.

En este lugar cenamos varias veces por razones de comodidad, está al lado del hotel y, también, por su excelente "Fish & Chips", abundantes platos, ricas cervezas tiradas, pagas antes y te llevan a la mesa lo que elegiste, precio normal.

One of the bars in the Imperial and President hotels. Definitely the poorer value. Basic cafeteria quality furnishings, loud and mostly pub grub. Some better pubs just down the street.

Bastante malo, mal atendido, la comida bastante sosa, no encontraban aceite de oliva, vinieron la entrada y el plato principal al mismo tiempo, hacía frío. En fin, si pueden evitarlo, evítenlo.

However you slice it, this is a coffee shop that serves beer. It is attached between two Bloomsbury Hotels in the Imperial chain, the President and the Imperial. It is a good place when you are too tired to search too far for a place that might be open. The food is Ok as is the price. Forget about atmosphere, unless you are looking for coffee house bland. I've gone there a few times over the years and got what I expected.

Fuimos a cenar un día porque vimos que dentro había mucha gente y pedimos fish&chips; y una pasta con verduras. La pasta de microondas y el pescado con un olor y un sabor a fritanga horrible. Si lo que queréis es tomaros unas copas, café o un refresco ok, pero para comer/cenar lo evitaría a toda costa.

Looking to eat somewhere at midday due to us going to the theatre for a 7:30 performance. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, there was a large area to the front of the building which was for smoking/eating this also had a glass partition to shield customers from the rain. Plenty to choose from the menu, I had scampi, chips, peas and side salad....all very fresh. My husband had a beef burger with chips and commented that it was one of the best burgers he had eaten in a while. On returning to our hotel after the show....we called into the bar for a drink as it was next door to our hotel...it was very busy and still serving meals. Well worth a visit, excellent value for money and would certainly recommend.

We had drinks at about midnight before retiring to rooms in the hotel above (Imperial). The bar was still busy and the staff very welcoming. The outside terrace was full, with all tables in use (the terrace is a large smoking area).

We stayed at the Imperial hotel and this restaurant is around the corner. The food was delicious and was great value for money. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also great. Would definitely recommend it.

We have always used this bar when staying at the imperial hotel. Unfortunately this time we didn't find it particularkg good. Not very friendly staff, and just not very good atmosphere. The only explanatjon? High season!

If you are in the area it is one of the few bars open later, most shut at 11pm, decent bar too, worth stopping by

As a regular visitor to London I always stay in Russell Square and always enjoy relaxing on the terrace of this bar with a drik as I watch the world go by. Lovely food and coffee. £2 for a latte. Staff are always friendly. I've read a couple of not so good reviews but can honestly say of my many visits I have never had one complaint. Sat there now as I write this and the sun is shining!

Horrible re-heated full English breakfast and stale bagel with a soggy lump of salmon and a decaying side of salad. We had to ask for a refund as the food was inedible.

Séjournant dans l'hôtel adjacent à ce pub ,nous avons décidé d'aller manger un fish and chips plat typique ici.au niveau rapport qualité prix la nourriture est correcte.Par contre nous avons été extrêmement mal reçu par un serveur parlant à peine anglais,dédaigneux je pense n'aimant tout simplement pas les touristes.IL nous a indiqué du menton une table où s'assoir,tendu les cartes et après avoir passé commande ma dit"you have To Pay now" .on fait mieux comme prise en charge, touristes ou pas on paye!!! Le reste de l'équipe était normale la jeune femme plutôt souriante et avenante.Bref pour passer un moment détente je ne le conseille pas du tout!

Ma cominciamo dal servizio, in fondo e' stato anche divertente . Entro nel ristorante vuoto ( forse, vuoto non a caso... ) , dico " one, for lunch ", il cameriere / bartender mi bofonchia tra i denti qualcosa che interpreto come un " si accomodi " o simili (.. e notate che sono bilingue... non e' questione di non sapere l'inglese... ) e io mi siedo e aspetto. E aspetto. E aspetto ancora, ma non succede niente. Il ragazzo mi guarda con blanda curiosuta', io guardo lui , lui guarda me.. dopo qualche minuto mi rendo conto che da questo gioco di sguardi al massimo puo' nascere una scena di seduzione erotica ;) ma non l'ordinazione per il mio lunch. Mi viene in mente che, chissa', forse essendo solo nel locale il dipendente ha l'ordine tassativo di non lasciare il bancone del bar- e in quel mentre arriva un secondo cameriere. Ah bene, allora. Invece no. Il secondo arrivato va a lavarsi le mani, telefona alla morosa, spolvera un tavolino... ma non prende atto della mia presenza. A questo punto lo fermo , gli dico: scusi, vorrei ordinare ... e mi risponde con aria seccata e supponente che devo scegliere dal menu, andare al banco , comunicare il mio ordine e il numero del mio tavolo, pagare anticipato - poi ( forse, se sono brava ? ) mi serviranno . E per via di dirmelo prima , magari ? Di scriverlo da qualche parte ? Di farti venire il dubbio che, se sono 15 minuti che sto seduta al tavolo cercando di attirare la tua attenzione, non e' perché sei un bel ragazzo ( non lo era ) ma perché ci ho fame ?...La fame, me la sono tenuta. Mi hanno portato cibo per crudisti, non nel senso che era cibo vegano, ma nel senso il mio chicken pie era composto da un involucro tipo pasta di pizza cruda all' inteno del quale nuotava qualche pezzetto di pollo in una salsetta atroce , accompagnata da piselli crudi e patate crude o quasi. Due bocconi , e... sono fuggita a consolarmi con gli ottimi dessert di una pasticceria francese nelle vicinanze.

Ligado al Imperial y al President Hotel, este pub cierra la cocina hasta tarde, por lo que nos salvó varios días que llegamos entree 10-11pm de turistear por la ciudad. Platos típicos de pub, de muy buena calidad y precio. También es un buen punto para quienes se hospeden en los alrededores de Russell Square

This place has an indoor and outdoor area. Very nice in warm weather outside. Good selection for food and I even found a fellow Kiwi working here. Food is very good and so is the alcohol:)

Used this bar for food after a day sightseeing as it was attached to our hotel (Imperial Hotel London). Plenty of choice on the menu and prices were reasonable, also good sized portions. Our party had pie (crust very hard but ok), burgers & fish & chips which were very good....side orders are a good size as well. Our main courses were all around £11-£12.

Terrible management, terrible mannerism and terrible communication with zero empathy whatsoever. Expect at least 10 more 1 star reviews from all my family and friends on all platforms.

We stayed in the parent Imperial Hotel and, couldn't resist the bar one evening when we needed a late meal.The beer prices are refreshingly normal for London. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food, may be burgers etc but, the fish & chips was very good. I don't expect hotel fayre to be brilliant but, the food in here was really good. If you smoke (or just like al fresco) you have a table and chair terrace overlooking the road and opposite Russell Square park but, it's a busy road so expect noise.It's open until 1 am so, expect a lot of late night custom to surround you and, at weekends the staff told us iit's extremely busy. Go and enjoy!!!!

The covered decking area that is parallel to the busy road that leads to Euston Station and overlooks Russell Square provided a respite from the hustle and bustle pounding the pavements elsewhere in London. The prices are very reasonable and it is a smoking area for those with the habit. We never tried the food but judging by the number of empty plates being taken away the food must have been good

We stayed at the President hotel right by the Night and Day bar. We came by one night to have a pint, stayed for Fish and Chips, and came back again after a football match for celebratory drinks and burgers. Would definitely recommend coming here.

La prima sera, appena arrivati a Londra, non ancora organizzati per girare il quartiere ci siamo affidati per la cena a questo locale appartenente all'hotel Imperial dove alloggiavamo. Locale semplice ed informale, personale simpatico con molto senso pratico, veloce nel preparare le bevande, in particolare la piccola selezione di birre alla spina e del sidro. Il menù non è amplissimo ma è discretamente strutturato per un pasto veloce, immancabili il tradizionale fish and chip, gli hamburger con le varie salse , i sandwich; comunque da quello visto sempre porzioni abbondanti. Si ordina al banco pagamento immediato, ti siedi e aspetti che ti consegnino i piatti, fish and chips di buona fattura, abbondante e poco unto così come le patatine e le verdure a contorno del piatto, accompagnato da un discreto sidro, ma poi "sciacquato " immediatamente con una buona birra alla spina. Conto buono, rapportato alla qualità; il locale è pieno di televisori sintonizzati sui programmi sportivi, quindi il locale che in pratica dalla tarda mattinata è aperto continuamente è affollato soprattutto per le partite di Premier League dai residenti della zona, una esperienza da condividere.

My wife and I saw this restaurant had mixed reviews but wanted to try it anyway since it was so close to our hotel. You need to go up to the bar to order your food and need to pay for everything before they bring it to you. When my wife and I got up to order our food and pay, someone took our table. Luckily there was another table free close by. I ordered a pint of one of their beers on tap and was told they were out. The bartender was not very helpful, he just pointed to the next tap over. The interaction was rushed and awkward, almost as if the bartender was bothered by me ordering two drinks and two entrees. What was most unsettling was the 1/4 inch of sediment at the bottom of my wife's red wine. I had the American Pizza and my wife had a Burger, both dishes were mediocre. The pizza was undercooked in the centre and crisp on the edges, sauce was bland and the cheese was greasy. My wife said her burger was "fine". I would recommend going to one of the other restaurants in the area before trying this one.

Visited for drinks and meals. The Pepsi drinks ordered were disgusting so were returned. There must have been something wrong with them. They were replaced with bottles of another drink as they could not explain the taste. Ordered 2 pizzas and they were horrible. Had no taste, mountains of greasy cheese on the top that had not been cooked for long enough. Ordered a side of chips and they were ok. Would not visit here again. No quality chef would serve those pizzas, they were really bad.

Was really busy there was a football match on the televisions. We managed to find a table and the food is typical pub food. I had fish and chips and a pint of Guinness. Food was ok not amazing but it hit the spot.

We went in here as they had sport on and we wanted to find a pub with BT sport. We asked but they didn't have Bt sport but they did tell us about a pub 5 mins away that did have Bt sport.We stop for a drink . After a very long and weary day we called here as it was close to our hotel. We both had steaks which were very nice and just what the doctor ordered, very pleasant atmosphere and swift service, I would be more than happy to call again.

Sitio que descubrimos cerca del hotel y que sin duda nos salvó varias noches. Un fish and chips extraordinario por 10 libras, hamburguesas a 8 y salchichas a unas 8,50 además de bocadillos a 6 libras. Me sé casi toda la carta porque fue nuestra primera opción cuando estábamos por el hotel. Un trato muy bueno y todo rico y calentito.

Returning from a theatre visit we called in for a nightcap before returning to our hotel. We were staying at the Imperial Hotel of which this bar is part. The drinks were reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and attentive. Recommended.

What a great after hours find on Russell Square! It's well lit with really welcoming and attentive staff. With several sections (the bar, front and back areas) groups of people easily arranged tables and chairs to gather together. And, service quick and the fish and chips were at a really good price.

This seemed to be not only a popular bar but an eatery as well right on Russell Square.Its location is interesting -- it connects to two hotels, including the one we were staying at.We only stopped here for a late night drink but were struck by how reasonable priced the food was for that neighborhood.

This is by far the worst place I have ever eaten. We called in for breakfast and the quality was shocking. We had to return our eggs on 3 occasions and in the end we just didn't bother and had to go somewhere else. Everyone can have bad days but what we can't excuse is bad hospitality from a young girl who's attitude was horrendous, like a surly kid. Enjoy the music but don't eat here.

Siamo arrivati una sera per provare il "fish and chips" e dopo averlo ordinato al banco e pagato, la cameriera dispiaciuta e gentile ci comunica che il "fish and chips" non è disponibile, così abbiamo ripiegato sugli hamburgers che sono risultati ricchi e gustosi.Prezzi onesti. Bevendo tap water, in 4 abbiamo speso 32£. Consigliato!!

the food arrived quickly, but it had been heated in a microwave from frozen and wasn't hot enough, wouldn't eat here again, the place itself was nice enough but not warm enough for me

Ordered the homemade beefburger. The bread was hard as a rock, the cheese was swetty and tasted old, and the bacon was sticky. The mozarella baguett wasn't good either. The mozarella was cold and not near melted, and the pesto tasted old.

Fuimos a este sitio por estar cerca del hotel. Comparado con otros sitios es relativamente barato. Nos pedimos un hotdog y una pinta cada uno y pagamos 19£. Cantidad suficiente, el tamaño del hotdog era grande, quedamos satisfechos.
