La Roccia in Camden

We stopped in mid afternoon for a quick bite. It was fine and that's about all I would say. It did the job and wasnt expensive.

I went to La Roccia this morning with my sister and experienced some of the worst service I have ever recieved...

Eu comi um carbonara,que até estava bom, mas além de pouco molho a quantidade do prato também foi pouca para uma pessoa em relação ao valor cobrado.

Handy for a quick bite to eat at lunch but nothing out of the ordinary. Food was tourist prices rather than local London prices.

Been there with my children for lunch, the staff welcomed us warmly & very friendly to my kids which was really nice of them.

Veldig bra sted for en frokost, pannekakene anbefales. Også veldig bra for en ettermiddagskaffe med kaker. Mokkakaken er utsøkt! Hyggelig betjening.

Esta pequeña tienda es una cadena de San Francisco. Mi amigo que es un estudiante en la Universidad de Bath quería coger un grupo de nosotros allí para el descuento de estudiante, haciendo incluso más barato. Actualmente vivo en San Francisco, así que fue una sorpresa agradable ver algo con las calles y decoraciones de referencia que se ha convertido en familiar. Es por buenas compras baño (albaricoque es super cerca! Burritos eran) y el decente. Barato y siempre es genial cuando se trata de una comida de mediodía. Según eso y la excelente ubicación en el centro, lo recomiendo.

Low cost breakfast (£7.50 for a big full English), but quality lived up to price - dry sausage, greasy tough hash brown, etc. Good friendly service.

Aparecimos aquí para un desayuno tardío, las tortitas que me dieron era especialmente bueno y el café. Los precios no estaban tan mal y el interior de la cafetería era agradable. La única pega es que el servicio era bastante lento y el personal no hablaba inglés muy bien.

Abbiamo mangiato in questo buon ristorante dove abbiamo gustato uno squisitissimo cheesecake e dove abbiamo trovato un simpaticissimo manager. A due passi dal celebre British museum é un ottimo posto per sostare.

The cakes outside look fantastic, having passed a few times we decided to go in, the only error we made was going in for breakfast.Firstly it's worth pointing out the services is good, the owner is nice guys and it has a nice feel the the place.Orange and coffee ordered was decent, as it should be. The porridge was bland and the honey didn't make enough difference, maybe a pot of honey or a darker one would've made it better.The Mrs had the full english and her review is it was average with an under cooked tomato.If I was in the area I would still visit again for a coffee and cake, as maybe it's just breakfast that isn't so good.

Bien situé à proximité du British Museum, un endroit idéal pour déguster un bon breakfast avant d'entamer la journée.3 breakfasts différents permettent à tout le monde de trouver son bonheur, l'American étant pas très copieux et peu diversifié.Un gros bémol sur la lenteur du service quand il y a du monde.Sinon personnel charmant.

Lovely food and a fantastic service. Great coffee and the Oreo cheesecake was superb. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Wonderful lunch and friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. Good variety of food too and tasted fresh and homemade.

We popped in here for breakfast as we were staying nearby and it looked nice from outside. We ordered two cooked breakfasts - one full English and one veggie. The cafe was quiet but our food took ages to come, and when it did, it was pretty poor. My veggie sausage was cold, and the beans on both breakfasts were chilled - not just cool but actually as if they'd just come out the fridge. Eggs were cold too. Both meals wear weirdly greasy. Very strange that the food was so bad when the place was empty apart from one other customer. Freshly squeezed juice was delicious, coffee was mediocre at best.

Pur avendo ordinato un piatto di pasta e l'hamburger, che facevano parte dei piatti "in promozione", alla cassa ci viene detto che avremmo dovuto specificare al momento dell'ordine il fatto di volere il menù lunch e che non avrebbe proprio potuto farci alcuno sconto perché, attenzione, ci era stata servita una coca in bottiglia e non in lattina!!! Scortesia e poca attenzione al cliente. Non ci torneremo mai più e lo sconsigliamo vivamente.

Fancied a late nite cake (who doesn't!). It's mainly coffee shop but take out is fine. Very good prices and nice size given! Always prefer to eat in non-chain coffee shops! V Good!

We were just passing by this cafe and saw the cakes in the window. We decided to take 2 pieces for takeaway and boy they were so good! The next day we went there for the morning coffee and ordered 2 more pieces of different cakes and were not disappointed this time ether!The cakes are delicious, fresh and tasty (not just full of sugar), the coffee was also good.The service was good, but the place was nearly empty as we came early at the morning.

La vetrina può attirare i golosi per le esposizioni di torte di buona fattura, soprattutto varie cheese cake. Ci sono stato per una cena veloce, curioso di provare il fish and chips a prezzo promozionale. La pasta, abbondante ma di fattura lontana da quella nostra, un poco avanti di cottura, il condimento non era un granché. Fish and chips buono e ben presentato ma porzione ridotta, birra in bottiglia (niente spine!), discreta la cheese cake finale. Conto nella media, con servizio discretamente veloce e curato.

We stopped here for a simple breakfast it as double the price of Wetherspoons for about the same.On the other hand sandwiches look good fresh with a bit of choice.

Stopped here for lunch last Sunday as we headed back towards our hotel. Good plain fare and good service. We enjoyed a burger with freshly cooked chips and a Ceasar salad.

We stayed in a hotel very close to La Roccia but opted to take our breakfasts away from the hotel and are glad we did.La Roccia offered a good breakfast meny, freshly cooked to order and very quick. I would have loved to give it an 'excellent' rating but despite being a small order and it being only mildly busy, they somehow overlooked our coffee orders and we had to chase. Not disappointed when they did arrive though as they were so much better than the stuff the chains serve up.

The food is excellent and the prices are great. We stayed at a nearby hotel and ate breakfast here everyday. The staff is friendly and was excellent. We had dinner here twice also on the new restaurant side and we were very happy with the flavor and freshness of the salads. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The fish and chips were not traditional but lightly battered and extremely fresh. I would come back when in London.

This is lovely Cafe and a great place to eat, the choice of food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and the food itself was excellent, both myself and my wife had the hot tuna and avocado wrap and it was freshly prepared which is lovely to see, the portion was very generous and the price definitely value for money.It was also lovely to see the guy who prepared the food was so busy yet when two elderly ladies asked him for directions, he stopped what he was doing and gave them his undivided attention. It's the type of place with the ingredients set out as part of what you can see on the cold counter, with a handwritten menu on the wall and the chef actually making it in front of you. Not speedy but good quality fresh food put together as you watch. Waitress service is bedevilled by people taking a table to let a single person use the ladies room which is very unfair all round as they run when approached to order. Have the all-day breakfast menu, stay to chat with a friend over coffee and patisserie and enjoy the decor. Short walk from many attractions, convenient bus stop near, access to front four tables suit wheelchair user with small step. Second shop along the road shares this chef, thus hotter food available by sitting in at 78.

We visited La Roccia for breakfast. And for sure we will newer come back. The restaurant where medium full and we were asked pretty fast for our order. Somewhere between our table and the kitchens our order was lost so we ended up waiting an little hour for a really crappy brunch. Compared to what we have yesterday for the same price - Its not okay- really not. We paid full price - don't come there as a tourist.

Food - How can an Italian restaurant get lasagne wrong? And at £9.90 that's all you get - a lump of stodgy, dry lasagne with not very much meat. No salad garnish or garlic bread. My daughter was not at all impressed. I ordered seabass with vegetables with a side of sauté potatoes. It arrived without the vegetables and after I pointed this out , and the staff consulting the menu to see if vegetables were included, they eventually arrived. runner beans and broccoli and at least they were hot. Apparently the chef thought I wanted potatoes instead of the vegetables! The seabass was OK. Service - see above for getting the order wrong. Comment from the waitress was "That's how the chef prepared it". When the plates were cleared she didn't ask if we wanted dessert. We were then ignored for about 15 minutes whilst the waitress went outside to talk to somebody and the waiter chatted to a woman inside. At this point we gave up and went the counter to pay. We will not be returning

Spaghetti Bolognese was tiny, my 3 year old eats more than that!!Pizza margerita was orange gloop on pizza base.Chicken breast burger was ok.Ketchup was cheap rubbish hidden in a Heinz bottle!Staff rude and didn't understand simple English.Such a shame the Ask Restaurant that used to be in its place closed down!

Just in to London and starving for breakfast. Breakfast rush was over and the place was empty. My order was taken quickly. Good was prepared quickly and accurately. Breakfast was tasty and satisfying. Price was reasonable. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean.

Seabass was off, disguised by a ton of salt. Chicken breast served with an incipid, dressing free salad, chicken curry passable only.

Bit of a cafe style, rather than the bistro it promised from the outside. Staff attentive and menu varied. However, extremely poor service with the wrong drink, and wrong pizza served. This meant that my partner ate alone, while waiting for my correct order to arrive. Then, the more expensive pizza charged for on the bill. And, it wasn't cheap!! Bit of a shame really.

I recently visited La Roccia as part of a groupon voucher that I booked. I was extremely upset with the poor service that I received.It was the first time I have booked with groupon and didn't know how it worked. I took my printed reservation email with me to the restaurant, but they wouldn't accept it. The manager wouldn't let us order until they had the barcode. I told them that I could get it. The waiter could of let us order our food as I had proof that I could get the voucher. It took me 45min to get the voucher, which meant we had to wait over an hour before getting our starter. This was not a good start.When I booked my groupon, I read the menu and knew what to expect when I got to the restaurant; a three course meal and a glass of wine for two. However, I was not given the same choice of food as the menu showed on the website. For starter, we only had two choices in the restaurant, but online we had three choices. For main course, on the website the menu had pizza, pasta and a chicken dish option. In the restaurant, the waiter only gave us only a choice of pasta, even after we asked for pizza he still refused and said we were not allowed anything else. Me and my friend ordered one vegetarian penne and one vegetarian spaghetti. When he returned, he bought two vegetarian penne dishes. We said we asked for one spaghetti and he rudely argued and said no, you ordered two penne. We again said that we ordered one spaghetti and one penne, but he insisted we didn't. He reluctantly offered to change it, but at this point we were so fed up and just took what we were given . As for the pasta dish we received, it was very plain, with a few small pieces of vegetables. Not the kind of pasta dish I would recommend to anyone. At this point I just wanted my desert and to leave, but it got even worse. Although there were three options for dessert on the groupon deal, but we were only given two choices; ice-cream or tiramisu. As tiramisu has alcohol, we both ordered ice-cream. Before we were served with the dessert, I found the groupon deal on my phone. I spoke to the manager about it, pointing out that he had failed to give us all the available options. He reluctantly accepted this. As there were three dessert options, including apple pie, we asked him to change our order to apple pie. Without any comment, he walked away and another waitress bought the apple pies. When it arrived, it wasn't a hot, comforting tasty apple pie. It was barely warmed up, (probably just warmed in the microwave) with a little drizzle of toffee sauce. Once we were done, the waiter took our plates, didn't say thank you for coming, he just walked away and didn’t even apologise for the lack of options.It seemed as if the waiter wasn't interested in serving us properly because we had a groupon voucher and we weren't ordering from the menu. I would of thought that the staff would have knowledge of the menu that comes with this voucher, but it seemed as though the waiter was adamant in giving us the cheapest choices that were on the menu, not giving us any options. I would not expect this kind of service anywhere, whether I have a voucher or not! I do not feel that the quality of service and the food I was offered reflect the price I had to pay for this meal. I have asked for a full refund and suggested to groupon to remove this offer from their website as it doesn't reflect what you receive in the restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Needed a late lunch and cafes/pubs nearby looked somewhat unsavoury, so we two mature ladies were delighted to find this small, very clean restaurant. The staff were pleasant and courteous and the menu had plenty of choice. The place was clean and bright and tables were simple - nothing fussy. Nearby tables were cleaned as soon as they were vacated. The toilets (downstairs) were also very clean. The staff didn't make a fuss, but checked that the food was ok for us. Two little mistakes by the staff - our desserts were brought to us, but with no cutlery, and on one of our bills the service charge had been added twice. We stayed a long time chatting, but we weren't hurried by the staff. All round this was a very pleasant lunch and good value compared to some of the prices round about.

This little cafe reminds me of the cafes in Paris - narrow with tables down one side and the serving counter on the other. This is a perfect place for breakfast - they have a wide choice of breakfasts - even vegetarian ones - and the pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup are delicious. The perfect start to a day!!

When my journey home was disturbed by windy Doris I popped in here for a light snack. I enjoyed my toasted Camembert and olives. The vase of daffodils on the table was a nice touch of Spring . The display of cakes were tempting.

Two seniors, on their way home from Theatreland, and feeling a little peckish, noticed the blackboard simple adverts outside. Under £10.00 for a pizza/pasta and a glass of wine, well one could not resist.Inside, the restaurant is basic, simple, clean and very welcoming. The wine on the offer was totally acceptable, and the pasta dish with meatballs that we both choose was hot, tasty and a generous portion. Other customers appeared to be enjoying their pizzas just as much, and the waitress we had was lovely, and very attentive.There are endless Eateries on Southampton Row, but this is a good one, and deserves to succeed.

I walked past La Roccia today and was tempted in by the sumptuous looking cakes and menu with very competitive prices.I settled on a Mega Breakfast which was superb- cooked quickly but freshly at the counter infront of you. All really tasty, and accompanied by a great coffee.This area is full of overpriced vile tourist traps so to find such a good cafe was an unexpected bonus.Highly recommended!

We went in for some lunch before going to a theatre matinee. I had broccoli soup & a panini & my husband had the soup & lasagna special. Both meals were delicious & very big portions. The staff were extremely friendly & were eager to please. Recommended.

We had a very reasonably priced cooked breakfast and tea. Service was friendly, quick and they were very accommodating. A great family owned place worth a visit if you're in the locality.

It may be that it was the waitress's first day, but she was in a panic and confused the entire time we were there. We ordered promptly, she gave us half our drink order. When we got our food (we both ordered American breakfast) she brought us both a Full English breakfast. She claimed they were both the more expensive Mega breakfast. In the end we paid for what we ate... 2 mediocre full English breakfasts, not the American breakfast which is what we ordered.

Yesterday I was in Holborn, having just visited the Charles Dickens Museum (near Russell Square); and felt a bit hungry. I then noticed this restaurant,which was proclaiming a 'Special' - soup and lasagne for £5.35! It seemed a very reasonable price, so without more ado I went in.The restaurant was exceptionally bright and immaculately presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the good was delicious. I ordered the 'Special', which comprised of a delicious Lentil Soup and a hot roll, followed by the Lasagne. Both items were lovely and I HIGHLY recommend them; and,indeed, this culinary establishment.I was a very happy and well-fed customer. Many thanks.

Bacon butties in the brioche bun are out of this world. Ordered one to go and within 5 minutes was back for a second one. And £2 cheaper than with bread. Win win.

Had breakfast and a pre theatre dinner here at the weekend. Food good and great value for money. Service excellent and premises very clean. Much nicer and far less expensive than the breakfast in the hotel we were staying in!

We had breakfast here and the best freshly squeezed juice I have ever tasted (Carrot and Orange and Carrot and Apple). The staff were very friendly and attentive. It was spotlessly clean and a very relaxing place to eat. Can't fault it

We stopped here for breakfast because the hotel was charging silly prices. So glad we did. The food was perfect. Prices are very good indeed. The staff were attentive and friendly. The service was swift. I highly recommend the sausage sandwich and a glass of fresh tomato juice. The cooked breakfast did look amazing too.

Was tempted in by the cakes in the window, same as many other reviewers. It was a very hot day and we had iced tea and iced coffee. The waiter is great. Prices are very acceptable.Went back the following day with a couple of friends for a meal. Equally excellent, loved the Italian vibe, the service and the food. Simple but good. Definitely a find in this part of the Big City. My only reservation was that we nearly didn't realize they had a wine list. We were just away to order non-alcoholic drinks when we found out!

We have just stayed in London at Doubletree and thought we would venture out for breakfast on our first morning. Only a few steps along we found this little gem. My 5 year old daughter had pancakes and fresh orange and I had English breakfast. We instantly got on well with all of the staff as they are so friendly and want to please you in every way. We went back again on the following day and they had remembered us and also that we were in London to celebrate my daughters birthday. They brought Freya a slice of cake as a very lovely gesture to take home and even kept it for us whilst we went off for the day so we could pick it up on our way to the train station Freya enjoyed her pancakes that much had them again. I had salmon and scrambled egg bagelAs they open so early we got the lovely little table at the front window to enjoy the world go byWill definitely always use this little gem every time I go to London

We walked pass and attractive in by their cake counter. Went in for a light lunch and cakes, very good service, friendly staff and very tasty food. Reasonable price for London

Went here this morning for breakfast (there are two, this one is with the glass atrium). Looks amazing from the outside. Coffee was fine. Ordered scrambled eggs and poached eggs on toast. Both tasted like they'd been made the night before. Clearly no interest in cooking. And the restaurant itself was very hot. My advice would be to stick to the delicious looking cakes in the window.

We had a delicious breakfast here on two mornings during our break in London, and also enjoyed a very enjoyable evening meal, really friendly, efficient, staff, nice interior decor, and some pleasant al fresco space if weather allows. We would recommend this cafe if you are in the vicinity, perfect.

Only popped in for a Latte, and was very pleased to receive an excellent service, a fantastic cup of coffee, which tasted great, and it wasn't expensive at all! Looking at the menu, the same applies to their food too. Tables were arranged for mostly couples, but a party could easily eat here. Certainly one to go back to.

Me and my boyfriend had our evening dinner in this lovely place. Modern interior along with truly authentic food. Absolutely a work of art in the layout incorporating the art of those who dine there. Brilliant rustic pizzas. Good music. I would recommend the oreo cheesecake for dessert

Had lunch here today in very pleasant and unusual surroundings. Very relaxed and friendly. The manager offered alternatives to the menu - just like they do in Italy. Had heart shaped ravioli and a good Pinot Grigio. Fabulous choice of top quality desserts as it is also a patisserie. Short walking distance from the British Museum. I would definitely go again.

Looking for lunch and walked passed here. Great friendly welcome and interesting interior. Menu very heavily breakfast orientated but still good choice. The smoothies and fresh juices are really good.

As I passed the window the sight of the big cakes drew me in. The carrot cake was awesome and on the strength of the cake I went back the next day for breakfast. Bad choice. Mega English and half a cup of coffee was not up to the standard of the cake. I'm not going to bore you but at £10 I should have gone to a premier inn.

What a fantastic find, clean vibrant and very welcoming.the food was excellent.pancakes and fruit looked amazing I had the mega breakfast good quality very well cooked.freshley made croissants and eggs with hollandaise and smoked salmon drinks including to smoothies £39.00 what a bargain . This is a good basic english cafe. Despite its claim of Italianess I would not recommend the coffee but hey you are in London were the Thames is nicer to drink than most cups of coffee you will be served. I got both times the english breakfast. Sausages were a delight. Only one egg but you really don't need two. You get baked beans too.

Stopped by here for a quick breakfast. It was great. Eggs and bacon(ham). It was great service and a nice environment to start the day.

The food and service at these shops aren't bad. Nothing to be excited about. The location was convenient for our hotel so we tried supper and breakfast here. Only thing I'd recommend is the dessert.The cheesecakes are fabulous.

Popped in on a Sunday lunch time for cake and latte with my partner and two year old. The Black Forest gateaux I had was huge, nicely presented but above all delicious, as was my partner's choice of cake. Our son had some chips that were also really tasty. At £21 for two cakes, chips and three drinks it was pricey, but then again we were in London. The staff were friendly and the decor was abstractly colourful. Would eat there again.

The food was good and reasonably priced. I stopped here repeatedly for breakfast or late lunch. Also had free wifi which was useful.

Out of four meals only one was approaching tasty. The others filled a gap. Waiter couldn't understand me. And I am a native Londoner. Gourmet society app names this restaurant as offering two for one. Restaurant denied doing this offer. Poor service. Poor food.

Exelent place for lunch and breakfast.!!!!!Two days ago i went in this place with my friends to have some lunch.I had carbonara and my friends pizza,tuna steak.Everything was perfect.Thank you to the chef.Next day i had my breakfast in this place and it was exellent.I recommend this place to everybody.

Food was amazing and reasonably priced, staff where so helpful speak little English but still very good. We just called on off chance.

Today me and my husban went in la roccia restaurant to have our breakfast , i had a full english breakfast and he had a vegetarian breakfast staff was very friendly nice staff ther have... food was exellent and very fresh defently i will came back .... i think the boss should be every proud a but his staff and the bisnesd thank you very much of everything ... be back soon ...

I went here with a colleague for a bite to eat between meetings. The staff were rude from the moment we walked in. My colleague altered her mind whilst ordering and the waitress audibly tutted and shook her head and made a great deal of fuss about writing down the new order, a fajita wrap rather than a vegetable one. With hindsight we should have left at this point. However we didn't. When the food arrived, rather than a spicy chicken fajita wrap as advertised, we revived bland, unseasoned chicken in a wrap with a few strips of pepper and a glutinous mass of melted cheese. It was awful, heavy and bland with no spices and not resembling a fajita at all. I tried to eat it, but couldn't. I returned it to the staff and explained it really wasn't a fajita and I just couldn't eat it. They offered me something else in its place, but I no longer had time. I left the restaurant and my colleague offered to pay for the tea which is had whilst I grabbed a sandwich to take back to the meeting from another shop. Later she told me that the staff had treated her very badly, trying to make her pay for my food that they had accepted as a return. They upset her very much saying they were going to get their "big boss" to sort it out. She left the money for her lunch (which she also couldn't finish) and our drinks and left. I definitely do lot recommend this restaurant, terrible.

I have never been anywhere with such rude staff. The waitress was extremely unfriendly from the word go, and gave a deep, heavy sigh when I changed my mind when ordering. When our "Mexican chicken fajita" arrived it was bland and tasteless. My colleague ate a small part and then politely returned it, as it wasn't really very nice and definitely not as advertised. She then left to buy lunch elsewhere. When I went to pay, they tried to charge me for the meal she had returned! I said I had not been expecting to pay for a meal someone else had returned - and the waitresses started arguing the toss with me and talking loudly about me in a foreign language, telling me her boss would be unhappy and that it wasn't a nice thing to do, and they tried to claim my colleague had eaten half of the meal (she hadn't). Eventually one of them said she'd pay for the difference out of her own pocket (yeah, right). Then she slammed the till shut and gave me a death stare before storming off. Ridiculous and rude. I WOULD NOT recommend this place.

would have loved a cake but was asked to sit down before ordering and as all the caked are in the window it was difficult to suggest which I would have liked so just had coffee

Had breakfast here twice while staying at the Doubletree Hilton Southampton Row. Excellent bacon, good sausage, okay everything else. Avoid its related restaurant (same name) a few doors south unless you just want pastry and coffee... At least, staff were unable to make a crocque monsieur the day I went there: untoasted bread, greasy ham, barely melted cheese plonked on top...

Popped in for lunch yesterday, two adults, two children.Very welcoming staff, very nice interior.The kids had a pizza @ £9.50 between them, very average, my partner had a very clumpy carbonara £9.25 and I opted for a Hallumi salad £8.95, hmmmmm. The Hallumi was wafer thin and had obviously been cooked some time earlier and put on the plate cold, more like hard plastic than a cheese. Told the waiter, he was simply not bothered, if we had had more time would have got it changed for something else.Would not got there again, total bill £35.00 for a very average/ poor lunch.Cakes in the window look very nice but did not try them.

If only we were there for more than two days! We came upon this cafe/restaurant on an early Saturday morning and my friend was drawn to the window display of cakes! We were seated promptly and chose the far back of the cafe as there was a large sliding window area for a garden. On our trip the following day we were greeted again by the same waitress who smiled when she recognised us and asked if we would like our "usual seat!" The breakfast menu had a wide selection, two pages worth along with desserts! I chose pancakes and then crepes on my second day whilst my friend chose scrambled egg and sausage on toast, which she loved so much she ordered it again. I also ordered apple juice which was freshly made and tasted amazing! On our final visit we gave into temptation and ordered cheesecakes, which were superb! My profiterole cheesecake was almost mousse like in texture, so light and fluffy! It is a great place to take a friend or family for breakfast/brunch which was evident on the late sunday morning, as it was much busier than the Saturday. Our only regret was that we couldn't visit again for lunch or dinner as we had such limited time and had already chosen places to go. On my next visit I will definitely be returning!

I had an excellent breakfast here last week: veggie breakfast, freshly squeezed OJ and coffee at a reasonable price - much cheaper and just as good as the overpriced hotel breakfasts in nearby hotels!

Exactly that,we called in for breakfast and a brew,good food at a good price.Clean and tidy and quite busy for a Saturday.

Called in on way to station as a big sign in window advertised "hot dogs with real German sausage. Sat down and waited a while (only two other tables occupied) when the waitress finally arrived was told sorry the sausage is not available. Had a normal sausage sandwich and coffee. Service was slow and sausage sandwich was fairly tasteless.I will not go there again.

I had veggie breakfast at this place and it was great. It consisted of fried egg, baked beans, mushrooms, tomato, veggie sausage and toast all for the price of £5.50 plus a cappuccino for £2.75. £8.25 in total.The food tasted good and the service was excellent. I shall certainly eat at this restaurant again.

We had lunch twice in two days,dark haired chef and blonde waitress were great,great fresh food and amazing service,yous should be very proud of your buisness.

Visited for breakfast while staying in London recently and it was so good we returned over the next two days. Good value for money and the veggie breakfast is particularly good. Staff were friendly and efficient.

We stayed in London for #newyeareve and this place give us a great breakfast (english and american) for start the new year! To start I should say we went here for breakfast one day, and for breakfast I would have given a 4 star. Because breakfast was good, we decided to go back for dinner on another day as it was close to our hotel. Both me and my companion ordered Traditional English Fish and Chips with a side of Coleslaw. First, they forgot about our order, and we sat and waited for about 30 minutes before someone realized that we still did not have our food. When our meal arrived (finally) my piece of fish had about 15 bones in it, and it couldn't have been more than 6 oz of fish. I expect to find the occasional bone in deep fried fish, but not that many bones. The other person I was eating dinner with also ordered fish and chips. Either he ate the bones, or didn't find any. It was as if his piece of fish was de-boned, and mine was not. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, they shrugged their shoulders and said, "fish has bones". The menu indicated "Traditional English Fish and Chips" to which "traditionally" does not have bones, rather it is a filet that is deep fried. The staff did not offer to replace the meal or take the meal off the ticket and simply had the attitude of "oh well". As to the coleslaw, it had zero flavor. Just to give a bit of flavor, I squeezed the lemon that came with my fish over the coleslaw. Otherwise it was just wet flavorless cabbage pieces.

Sur le passage nous nous sommes arrêté prendre notre petit déjeuner.Très bon choix.Le full ENglish breakfast est très copieux avec un lard très migré, un régal.Nous avons aussi pris dess monothéisme excellents.D'ailleurs il y a plein de monde, ce qui est bon signe.

Stayed in hotel grange Holborn and on Xmas day had a bite with family in this bar that was open about 12.30 for lunch.Surprised how clean and tidy place wasLooked very swish for a cafe Food decent and priced well The thing that made it awesome was the service I just wrote a review for a tourist trap restarant in Leicester Square where they charged a 25% tip onto the bill!!!! Here the Bill was 30£ and they added £3 tip and I add another 3£ and some change to the tip as the cafe nice and food decent but service was amazing - served by a super friendly woman from Georgia (the country) who was laughing and smiling and helping a lot. She deserved a 20% tip and more not the tourist trap type of place I reviewed earlierGreat service and nice to see someone happy to help.
