No me decepcionó.

Don't bother. The food is very very average for the price. My burger was over cooked & they forgot my vegetables. We were handed the menus as we walked in rather than at the table and there was no cutlery. All a bit average for what you pay.

Tijdens onze citytrip Londen verbleven we in Dorsett hotel Sheperd's Bush.

We decided to try this restaurant as they had a 'deal' of 50% off dishes on the a la carte menu. The food was interesting and very good and the service attentive - however - we were the only people in the restaurant! It was a Monday evening but I suspect it is rarely full. It was good value with the deal otherwise would have been on the pricey side. They need to improve the atmosphere, it is a classic hotel restaurant, ideally it should have a door opening directly onto the street and be more inviting - more casual rather than fine dining would probably be a winner.

Came for pre-theatre meal. The food was excellant and the waiting staff were attentive but not on top of you. We also had a tastecard discount. This made the meal good value for money. It would have been expensive without it. Forxsomecreason the restayrant is very quiet, only 2 more tables whilst we were there. This meant there wasn't much atmospher. We would come again as long as they keep taking tastecard

Food has improved since our last visit. Dishes more creative and interesting. Great modern minimalistic decor and service is pretty good. You get to see the chefs in action - head to the toilets - they are warm and friendly!

The restaurant was less than 1/2 full but we were told we weould have to wait for 40 minutes due to them being 'busy'. We were eventually seated, given horrible water that tasted of grass but turned out to be cucumber water. We asked for normal tap water and was given MORE CUCUMBER WATER!!! We ordered a bottle of wine but after a further 1/2 an hour (so due to the wait to be seated a full hour and a quarter after we had arrived) nothing had been brought to the table and no food order taken, we cancelled the wine order and left. We went to an Indian restaurant around the corner which was lovely!!!

A tasty well priced meal with an attentive but not intrusive waiter. All the little extras without the added costs such as fresh bread. Very convenient if you wanted to be lazy after a tiring day sight seeing.

The service at Pictures was outstanding, never in your face, but always there when you want it; the service was the best I have had in a long time. The food was also excellent; I had calamari followed by duck - both where fantastic. Others in the party had potted duck salad followed by ribs - again their view was that the food was great. The ribs were a site to behold, flowing over both sides of the plate. We will be back; actually all the restaurants at the Dorsett are well worth while and I look forward to coming back to one or other of them

We were not impressed by the food or service. We were there a friday evening and only a couple of tables in the restaurant were occupied, so that should have been a warning. The food was bland and although the prices were reasonable I would refrain from dining there in the future.

Situated in the main body of the hotel so from start to finish this place looks polished and professional. The food serves a variety but I guess you its Asian Fusion. Staff are attentive and the portion sizes are very good! The duck and watermelon salad is superb

I don't always try hotel restaurants especially in cities like London but convenience and the look of this restaurant won out. What really impressed me was how accommodating they were to someone who avoids gluten and dairy, not always the case with restaurants where a take or leave it policy seems to prevail. So good service, good food though a limited menu, and generally well priced - well it's London so there is a caveat in that hotel food tends to command a premium, but if you're perhaps tired and don't want to go searching or queuing elsewhere it's perfectly acceptable.

We went for breakfast. There is a great choice of cold and hot food. There was an omelette bar and I got two beautiful poached eggs cooked to order. There is also an omelette bar which is a nice add. It also serves congee so must cater to international travellers.

This restaurant is in the Dorset Hotel in Shepherds Bush London. It is a nice enough space. The food was typical London food and there was nothing exciting or inventive with it. The buffet breakfast was average at best. Our dinner was the same.

I met friends for a mid week dinner, this is a great location in a beautiful hotel. The waiters were friendly but unobtrusive. The menu is simple but there are enough options for each diner to have a couple of choices. The food arrived, and was well presented with generous portions. My only criticism is that the restaurant was a little too quiet and I don't know if this is because it was a mid-week but that's the only thing that was lacking. I was able to use my Tastecard so that meant that we received a discount off the food which made this great value for money. Even though the restaurant was quiet I would still definitely return again thank you. The lobby bar also does great cocktails !

Stayed @ the Dorset, Monday 13th July & decided to eat @ the Picture Restaurant located within the hotel. Much to my surprise I was able to use my Tastecard which entitled me to 50% off the food bill. I was so impressed with the service by staff & the quality of the food I would be happy to pay the bill in full. Had Mushroom soup for starters which was ok, nothing special! As my main I had the Roasted Duck Breast in plum sauce which was cooked so well & was absolutely delicious & as for desert I indulged in the Pistachio Chocolate Brownie with Raspberry Ice-Cream, it was so light & melt in your mouth delicious I could of have had another! I would recommend to have 2-courses as the serving of soup & main was generous plus you get complimentary bread upon arrival! I am a very fussy eater & can only praise the food, worthwhile a visit. Only downfall went down to a late sitting dinner & as a result the restaurant lacked atmosphere as the customers present were finishing up as we arrived. Having said that being the last customers, we did not feel rushed in anyway by the staff who were extremely pleasant. I would highly recommend anyone going to London to try this restaurant especially if tastecard holder as its a bargain & most definitely to stay at this Dorset hotel as the rooms are pure lush! This being my 2nd stay here I will be returning!

Since I was staying at the Dorsett Hotel, I thought I'd give this restaurant a try. The menu was not very impressive and the surroundings were a bit pretentious. The food wasn't "bad", but it wasn't great, either. Needless to say, I didn't return.

Was thoroughly underwhelmed. Decor is slightly pseudo/wannabe cool, but calming and bright. We found the food boring and mediocre at best. However, two ladies at the next table were going crazy over the food and thought it was excellent. Maybe its not that bad after all.

Good choice on a la carte menu but still well priced, especially for a hotel restaurant, there is another smaller meal deal choice, some oriental influence, great quality, well flavoured food with generous portions. Super service with attentive friendly staff. Disappointed we were too full to have dessert. Must try whether staying at the hotel or just around the area.

My wife and I had dinner here while staying in the hotel and our first impressions were that the restaurant was incredibly sparse, cold, with very bight lights, no music and basically no atmosphere. The staff however were very friendly and gracious. We did have to wait a long time for our food - even though the restaurant was almost empty - but when it finally did arrive it was very tasty. I had honey glazed Chinese pork and it really was seasoned perfectly. Probably wouldn't go back simply because the atmosphere was so non-existent but if you're staying in the hotel then it does the job of giving you a good meal.

my pre-booking went awry so I had to re-book. Then when we arrived although there were only 6 people in the room including us, the service was extremely slow. Two courses took an hour and a half. There was no music / ambience in the room. The food professes to be excellent, springrolls were greasy and the beef rendang was average. The pork my partner had can will a whole fennel to accompany it and that was all the veg he got! A lady on the other table also had the same and asked where the vegetables were so it wasn't just us thinking this was odd! They need to be more attentive to their customers and speed up service.

I've had breakfast here while staying at the Dorsett. The restaurant has a small variety for breakfast buffet. The omelet was good and done to my instructions. Mushrooms and Hashbrowns with Baked beans were fine as well. They should add possibly Pancakes, waffles to the menu. They can also do with some fresh fruits rather than the fruits in syrup that the currently serve. Option of having Fresh fruit juice would also help. Currently they only offer canned juices. For GBP 15/person, not really worth the money.

I was using my tastecard so we had 50% off and I didn't want to make a fuss, but afterwards I regretted not refusing to pay for it. The risotto I had last night was so dry I can stand my fork in it. My fork was still standing in the practically uneaten risotto when the (very nice) waiter took my plate away. He sort of laughed and my boyfriend said he should chat to to the chef about it, but on reflection I wish I had made a stand. It was ludicrous.

This is a beautiful old pub with an inviting real flame gas fire. Went with my family of 6. The food & drink’s were served very quickly. We had a combination of six different main meals & everyone was more than happy with what they ate. Five of us dessert of apple, berry & rhubarb crumble & custard which was to die for. Only hiccup was when we arrived at 7.30 there was a live band playing. Now as good as they were & the songs they played, they were rather loud & we had to shout at one another to make ourselves heard. When booking I asked for the quiet part of the restaurant as 4 of our group being 60-+ in ages weren’t to keen on loud music as we’d have to shout over it. But all in all a great pub with wonderful food & hard working staff.
