Waited 20 minutes for a Guinness (lukewarm), please don't have such a long bar if you're only going have 2 staff on, one whom also had to serve food.

This place is OK for a beer but stay clear of the food. Fish n chips were not properly cooked and didn't taste fresh at all. Surprised how they can get it so wrong and charge 12 pounds for it

Después de una noche muy decepcionante, pedí la hamburguesa.. Mis colegas y yo de acuerdo en que jamás había tenido nada igual! Lo más increíble que he puesto en mi boca.

Pedir una red ale ME DAN UNA IPA... Luego de 40 minutos de haber algunos hummous. El paso por paso, descansar hasta 1 h después. Incluso no estaba lleno! Pub El Chef estaba enfermo, y mal reemplazado obviamente. Al menos algunas bebidas se ofrecieron pero la noche ha sido arruinado de todos modos...

This place is walking distance for me but eve were it not, I'd highly recommend it. Lots to offer, good food, karaoke room, a dozen pool tables, even table football along with the 'live' games. Entertainment at weekends, too. Something for everyone.

Tuvimos una cena maravillosa aquí con un amigo mío, la comida era muy buena, el servicio era genial. No me puedo quejar. Hayley detrás de la barra también era increíble. Muy amable, así como también magnífico. Sin duda volveremos!

Mi novia y yo fuimos allí última noche para comer y para participar en el concurso. El menú era sencillo y fácil de navegar, pedimos 2 pizzas que tenían una oferta.

Vinimos aquí después de que el fútbol. Lo que un terrible pub. Había un grupo de tres que pedimos comida al mismo tiempo. Uno recibió suyos una buena media hora por delante de los demás. Para rematar la noche de fuegos artificiales que había en la calle por algunos jóvenes locales.

Love this place. Pool tables, live music, quiz nights and they show sport, what more could you want?! The staff are fun and friendly too which tops it off. Definitely recommended!

I took my brother here for part of his Stag do and it was perfect, we hired a huge table and a pool table for the evening which provided absolutely loads of space. The staff where incredibly good and really made the evening complete.

Cute, quirky, chilled out spot. Great place to hang out with friends. Karaoke, board games and a pool table! Highly recommended! Food is great too, good night guaranteed :)

Our food was lovely however the meal was let down by the service. I had to queue up to ask for some ketchup to which the man just replied it will be in your wooden box on your table, and I told him it was not and he just told me to go and check again. Very rude. I then had to queue up again to ask for some ketchup, all the time my food was going cold. Also although I love the late night atmosphere and loud music, I think it is far too loud early on in the evening whilst people are trying to eat dinner and socialise as you can hardly hear yourself think.

We had a great time here for my husbands 40th, hiring out the karaoke and games room - the larger of the two. Fab room, two long lead mics, pool table, giant jenga, and the staff were fab. Initially I emailed an enquiry for room hire and the communications were great and the staff on the night were really helpful. They made sure everything was working, that we knew when the kitchen was closing and let us decorate the room with 40th birthday bunting and banners. I think we'll all be going back, everyone had a great time!

I'm a local and love this place. There always seems to be something for everybody. I was here on Friday and enjoyed the live music whilst sampling the new cocktail menu, honestly one of the most lovingly made Old Fashioneds i've had in London. The staff are always friendly and seem to be having fun.There's always sport on tv and whenever i've asked the Manager has gone out of his way to put the games on with volume in the private rooms.Don't judge a book by it's cover because although this place looks run down it has a fantastic atmosphere and great range of drinks.

I think the title says it all here. 1/2 a star at most as the staff ruin the place completely. I had not been here for over five years ago and went again as am looking for a place to hold a work gathering. This place for me has gone from one of the best places in London to probably the worst. Yes it has a good ambiance and pool tables. But the bar staff when I went were terrible - tourists please don't judge other bar staff by this level. Rude, arrogant, patronising with absolutely no people or customer service skills at all. Am I glad I went back, Yes. But only so I know that I can save money and book somewhere better,

I have been here a couple of times and always I found different ambient to enjoy.I went after a nice walk on the river side and was good to stop here for a nice beer on the terrace and enjoy the sun. In the afternoon I enjoyed playing pull with friends and I win!!! We order a couple of chicken wings to share and it was really tasty.And on Sunday I found live music while I was enjoying and amazing chicken burger. Just is missing for me to try the karaoke room and do a real party but I am looking forward to my birthday... fully recommended!!!

As I live nearby I've tried hard to find a local bar with good service and a wide selection of beers to sit, read, or watch sports in if I'm in the mood. Well this is my favourite so far. A good friendly bar with good people.

Bad service, bad attitude, bad food. Stay away. The manager is this place has a really bad attitude.

My friend arranged a karaoke booth for us on Saturday 25 October. We had planned on meeting up for a bite to eat here beforehand. However, the kitchen wasn't available so we couldn't do that - what a shame that was. Then we ordered a bottle of wine to take into the booth with us. They didn't have the one we wanted. So we had to spend more than we wanted on another wine. The button in the booth that you press to ring for room service did nothing - nobody came so we had to spend ages queueing at the bar missing valuable singing time. They then ran out of the wine we had previously ordered - how hopeless is that! We had fun though regardless just don't expect too much.

Organised a karaoke night here for my birthday. The large, private karaoke room is perfect, with a pool table, lots of seating, and a good selection of music available, and you can't complain at only £20 an hour to hire the room. The food is pretty good too, my American husband was very happy with his burger and he's very hard to please when it comes to his burgers! The place is a little dive-y, but that's exactly the atmosphere I love, too many polished corners just feels uncomfortable and this place is very comfortable! The staff are all very welcoming too, all and all I recommend checking it out if you're planning a group night out.

This is one of my "local" pubs to where I work and have to report that, unfortunately, recently, it has gone down in my estimation. The staff are always welcoming and I agree with another reviewer's comments that it always has a nice atmosphere despite it being quiet during the day: however, I went in recently and ordered 2 soft drinks, a 7-inch pizza and a hotdog for lunch. Although tasty, the bill was nearly £23 which i thought was very steep. I will still go in there for drinks, meeting friends, etc., but possibly not for their food, unless they bring the prices down.

We were here on a midweek evening and although it was very quiet, there was a bit of an atmosphere. The food was pretty simple but really good, I had a hotdog that I really enjoyed and my friend had the buttermilk chicken which was also really good. There's a decent selection of drinks and I would imagine on a busy night, it would be a great place to come.

We recently booked the Southern Belle for a company team meeting followed by the football. Although we were unable to connect our laptop to the tv we managed to make do with a projector we brought along. The football was unfortunately dire but the beauty of the private room was the kareoke which came into its own after the final whistle! Even the pool table was put to good use. The food was great and plentiful and the table/room service meant that we didn't have to go back and forth to the bar all night.The room hire was very reasonable at £20/hour. We'll definitely be back!

Good matchday pub for Fulham fans with beer, quick and friendly bar staff, and football on the tv. The food also comes quickly, but neither of the dishes we had were great and certainly not for the price - they seem to rely on sweet sticky sauces to give the bland food any flavour. If you are going to eat stick to the snack food to go with your drinks - ribs, nachos etc which I'm sure are fine.

Visited the Southern Belle as part of a stag do and would highly recommend getting the private 'karaoke room'. It consists of an american pool table, large flat screen tv, karaoke machine and seats for about 15 people and at £20 an hour is a steal. We were in a group of ten so value for money for all of this is excellent. We were looked after by Caroline, very friendly and didnt charge us for the half an hour we had missed by being abit late. We even stayed on for an extra hour as after afew beers it was difficult to leave the karaoke alone! Would highly recommend for groups to have own area and great facilities at little cost!

Better pub value than crabtree pub. Different style to the nearby Old Suffolk Punch (OSP) . Used to be a workmens pub - and redone a few years ago, with stricter dress code - means a slightly posher, not so studenty feel. There's a half price night for pool - and a kareoke/ pub quiz nights too. I like it for a different night out .... good early date venue!

Great place! Multiple visits here. Couldn't believe the size of it! Played pool for 2 hours had a great rack of ribs. ( others had burgers, nachos chicken wings etc..) really good selection of beer, bottled and draught. Staff are friendly but I think a quick turnaround, which is a shame. Friday nights you can play pool until 2, they have dj's on Fridays and Saturdays too I think.

I randomly stumbled upon this place when walking from Putney to Hammersmith and I am so glad I did. My boyfriend and I turned up for a pub quiz night on a thursday and when we walked in we instantly fell in love with the place :)Comfy decent sized lounge style bar with pool tables and a karaoke room! They even had a private games room with jenga, karaoke, connect 4 and pool that you can hire.The food was mouth watering! I absolutely loved their pizza and their hotdogs were huge! The staff members were very friendly and chatty and helpful.I have been here now both on a weeknight and weekend. The bar is busier on weekends but not so busy that you have to push past people and the service is also still quick.To conclude...IGNORE THE BELOW NEGATIVE REVIEWS!I highly recommend this place as it caters for all types of people with a great atmosphere and service tomatch :)

Strange place to choose to eat, being a bar, but the food was pretty bad. Chicken burger tasted strange, like lettuce when it hasn't been washed.The pool tables are a great touch and very reasonably priced - but with drinks at crazy prices for the area, this is one to avoid unless you're looking for some cheap entertainment at one of the pool tables.

This is a local pub, and it is a lot nicer than some other ones around the area.It is massive inside, and even at the front, there is lots of outdoor seating on the street. The pool tables at the front have also been used regularly by myself and some mates. All great fun.The karaoke is great fun, even to watch. We got a table with some sides at the time, and it was nice food, couldn't complain. Had really good night- although the table and floor were sticky! Toilet was pretty nasty, so I just walked back home to use the loo. Otherwise, always a sure fire winner, with some good evenings spent in this wonderful pub.

If you're into Kareoke, do yourself a favour and get down to the southern belle! It's my local pub, great pool tables. At times the toilet can a bit smelly.

I live close by and go here every few weeks for the pulled pork pizza, it's the best. Can't complain about the service because there isn't any but at the end of the day this is a pub.
