Had lunch from their standard menu which we both enjoyed. My husband especially enjoyed the burgers. We had the full breakfast option which again was enjoyable only check your juice as we had to replace the ordered cranberry juice as it was watery.

Today my friends and I, went for lunch at Mantra Studio Kitchen and Bar, and you know what?? It is my new Mantra ,yes that’s right, you have heard it first here. Tucked away in an unassuming nook in Yarraville is a gem of a space for breakfast, lunch and soon to be Music studio for up and coming stars of the music industry. Love the food, service and space. Be sure to check it out in Yarraville ,especially the Sweet corn fritters, Bacon Bao and the smashed avocado. I was in heaven. Congratulations to the team at Mantra. This is a must.

The choice of cooked breakfasts here is incredible. For £17 you can have cooked breakfast AND choice from continental breakfast downstairs. This meant daughter was ecstatic with fresh cooked waffles plus fruit plus nutella etc. Vegetarians spoilt for choice with vegetarian breakfast or more healthy options involving kale and spinach etc. Service with a smile despite the fact we were the last ones to breakfast!

I had the fish and chips which was a surprising big portion - no sides needed! Sadly the Mac and cheese was bland. The waiters were really friendly and polite. The waitress however was rude! I’d spent the day at the spa and spent £200 so I don’t expect for anyone to speak to me in a rude way. My advice would be for attitude and customer service training.

Was on a business trip, ate quite late in the bar near reception, only ordered pizza and chips, pizza not great, not sure what cheese they use but it went hard when the pizza started to cook. The chips were nice though. Staff were friendly and food arrived in a timely manner. Not sure i would eat my evening meal here again. They automatically add the tip to the bill.

My sister booked and treated me to afternoon tea for my birthday. It was during the day of my birthday - a few hours before she and friends were set to arrive in London - and I had some time alone before our evening plans. I'd never had afternoon tea before and the thought of going in blind - and alone! - had me nervous, but the staff made it a very comfortable experience. I arrived for my booking and was directed upstairs from the main hotel entrance. At the time, only one other table was seated and it was quite quiet for the duration of my visit - to be expected during the week, I guess! The staff were very attentive and welcomed me, showing me to my seat. I was talked through the menu, which was displayed playfully to fit the theme as a vinyl record. The whole table was decked out to fit the theme, from the place settings (old record sleeves), the table mat for the afternoon tea stand (an old vinyl), to the tea set which was a bright, colourful and very glam! Not only the tables fit the theme, as while dining everybody present was treated to classic rock playing in the background, which ranged from Queen to The Darkness. Once it had been given time to infuse, the house brewed tea - appropriately named Tea Rex - was brought over. It was a smokey blend and although not something I may have chosen myself (I'm more a fan of lighter teas) it was very tasty! I was also given the choice of another tea, which was delivered after the tea stand arrived. So, on to the afternoon tea itself! Like I said, I had never been for afternoon tea before and was a little taken aback by the quantity per person, despite having seen the menu! There was a wide selection of savoury and sweet, including a scone, macarons, cakes, sweets, savoury tarts and - my favourite part - spiral sandwiches. I worked through the savoury first, starting with the bite-sized tarts and moving on to the sandwiches. All were excellent, but my particular favourite was the mozzarella and pesto sandwich on tomato bread. Delicious! As I started on the dessert portion of the tea, and having moved on to the pot of Earl Grey that I had chosen from the tea selection, the waitress returned with an extra plate. The birthday message (pictured) was a lovely personal touch, and one that neither I nor my sister had expected when I spoke to her later. It came with an extra macaron, a strawberry and a brownie with a lit candle in the top. The waitress wished me a happy birthday, thanking me for spending it with the hotel. It was a lovely personal touch! Sadly, I didn't have enough room for all the treats in the dessert part of the tea but the hotel were kind enough to pack them up to be taken away. Everything was excellent! I managed to get through the scone, which came with cream and jam, the cake and brownie while dining, then got to enjoy the rest later. I would highly recommend the K-West Hotel/Studio Bar's afternoon tea selection. It was my first experience and they made it a very relaxed and enjoyable one. The staff took excellent care of me, being a lone diner, and made my birthday treat extra special. The service was excellent; friendly, efficient and personal. I went in expecting afternoon tea to be quite formal, which I know it can be, but it was a very relaxed affair and I didn't once feel pressured or out of place. The glam rock theme was also a great move, being both enjoyable and adding to the relaxed feel to the place. If you're looking for a pleasant afternoon, great food and good background music, you should definitely give it a try!

I booked this tea for a friend's birthday as it looked quite quirky and cool. However, the place was quite dead and the food was average. We also didn't get to pick our tea's, they just gave us their own blend which was disappointing. Was also overpriced for what it was.

We only had mains and that took them half an hour or more, we were the only people in the restaurant they didn't check our meal was okay after it had been brought out baring in mind there was a minimum of three members of staff stood together talking and laughing at the desk! We didn't get offered a dessert menu they just brought us iber the receipt to be signed and that was it. The food was nice but I was told my lamb would be medium rare and I was okay with that but it came out well done - I found it very hard to cut it up.

I could not be more infuriated or upset by the inconveniences that this hotel has caused me. NEVER GO HERE! I received a £50 voucher for this hotel for K West Spa. I contacted the hotel and asked if the voucher could be used in the Hotel or in the Restaurant instead. I quoted the voucher number and the K West Staff member told me it wouldn't be a problem - all I had to do was to call and make a reservation when I was ready to use the voucher and remind the person on the phone that I would be using a Spa Voucher. So, on 23rd August, I called and made a reservation for my partner and I for dinner. We dressed up nicely and travelled all the way to the hotel. When we sat down, I reminded the (RUDE) waiter that we would be paying with the voucher. She had to check with her manager. Well, when she returned she said (AGAIN, RUDELY) that it couldn't be used in the restaurant. She did not apologise, did not smile, and even so, I kindly asked her to check again because I had already called TWICE and was told TWICE it was okay. Another staff member then came over to our table, and again told me (RUDELY) that it wasn't possible to use it in the restaurant. Despite telling her as well that I had already confirmed TWICE that it was okay, she said in the most unapologetic, rude and inconsiderate manner that it couldn't be used. There is obviously a theme in this hotel - RUDE RUDE RUDE STAFF. I could have stayed and paid for a meal if I had at least received an apology for being lied to, for going back on their word, for making my partner and I travel all the way to Shepherds Bush only to be treated like we were worthless. I'm sorry if you think this is an over-reaction but never, have I ever experienced such poor customer service as I did at K West, Shepherds Bush.

I booked the afternoon tea as a treat for myself and three girlfriends. The experience was pretty average on several counts. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful eg. when I asked if there was somewhere to leave our coats one staff member just pointed at the chair I was sitting on! The portions of food were ungenerous and there wasn't enough tea - we only had one cup each (with no offer of a refill) and the teapots didn't keep the tea hot! I felt the place lacked ambience, for example there was no music - ironic considering the hotel's musical heritage - the tea was themed as glam rock after all!

I had dinner here when it was included in my overnight spa package deal. It was a nice place and the staff were lovely however the food was not great.I ordered the mushroom soup and it was nice at first (especially as I wasn't feeling very well) but it was a very large bowl and got sickly after a while. Also I prefer my croutons as little cubes but it was served as a slice of bread so was a hassle to snap. Then I ordered the bacon cheeseburger - I requested for it to be well done but the meat was pink and I had to send it back. When it did arrive my group had finished so was just waiting for me. I love chips but I find it very salty. It could be that i was ill so didn't appreciate the meal as much as I would have if I was well or that we could only choose from the dinner menu and not the normal menu (we would have to pay extra but I would have chosen a fish dish) but it was disappointing. My sister did choose the chicken breast burger and it looked really nice and my other sister chose the pork belly dish with garlic mash potato and that was even better! So maybe if I were to come here again and choose something else I might be more satisfied. It's a lovely hotel with a wonderful spa so I would definitely come back again/

I had a really nice lunch and cocktail experience here sometime ago and wanted to re-visit for a while. I want to also say I have used the spa and had treatments here, these experiences have been great. The experience this time was not on par with previous food and drink experience. The restaurant staff were really lovely. The food was well cooked but did not wow me this time. Dessert was brilliant, but tiny! After dinner we went to the bar for cocktails I'd been looking forward to for a while. They are rather pricey but they were previously very good. The drink I ordered contained raspberries, cranberry, vodka and a few other ingredients. But the drink was very watery, I questioned this with them and was asked by the bar man 'what do you want me to do about it?' That initial response I found very rude and uncalled for, regardless of whether you agree with my comments you should remain polite, I asked for the manager. They both insisted the watery drink was how it should taste. I realise there was not much I could say to that. I did say it was not a very good cocktail and received the dirtiest look, as though I should not have an opinion. I was annoyed because I have told a few friends how good they were but I think I will have to retract my view and lower expectations. The manager was also the lady from the restaurant and during which time she was very pleasant, but her persona changed considerably when I had my view. I also raised the charge for service and was pointed to the note in the menu. I was trying to explain to the bar man the use of the word 'discretionary' but he was not interested in listening, I have no objection to paying for service, if I am receiving 'table' service this was not the case and I think it was very cheeky for this to be applied on this occasion. Service is earned, it is not for making a drink, where I have no option but to request for you to make the drink. You can have a really good night there as the DJ was playing really well and it can have a nice vibe and I would go back for this reason. I think they have some work to do on handling customer complaints, as you won't get it right all the time!

Some of the rudest staff I've ever encountered and terrible food. When I charged a meal to the room I was instantly harassed at my door for payment.. At 10 pm which I've never seen before. When I said I was tired and asked if I could sort it out upon check out I was told I had one hour or he would be back with security I was shocked to be honest. Left feeling like I'd been robbed.

Ate here twice whilst staying at K-West Hotel & Spa. On both nights me and my friend ordered main courses and desserts, plus a bottle of red wine. The food was absolutely delicious, so tasty, well presented, and fairly priced. The service was great, polite, professional staff. The restaurant was quite empty but nice that you had the buzzy sound of the bar below. Highly recommended.

A really nice pub/sports bar, on two levels, with a good atmosphere and background music (so people can chat, rather than shout). There are booths with individual screens showing sport, and lots of big screens around so that everyone will be able to watch. However. I'm from the North. I'm not paying £7.60 for a pint of ale. Well I am, because I just did. But I'm not having another. The pint itself is very nice and refreshing. But it also hurts because it cost so much. I didn't eat so can't comment, but the place was busy enough at 6pm on a Friday to suggest it is a decent place.
