Very unhelpful in the bar, I asked for a sandwich as I have dietary requirement only to be scoffed at saying we have made a bar menu for a reason , flicking his wrist he trotted of the to kitchen, come back to tell me that this hotel and restaurant doesn’t have any bread ! Joke , I knew what his attitude would be before I asked , don’t bother going here if you have any special requests other than a couple slices of bread

This place is amazing. We go two or 3 times a year and love it every time. The Belgian Choc desert is absolutely fantastic and we have their special cream with it. Haven't found anywhere else that comes close.

Very good food. Great servise and nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Had drinks here, they were nice, but lost stars as no where to change baby and getting advised to change on toilet floor isn’t good enough.

Fantastic Sunday lunch for all the family. Attentive and friendly staff who even sang happy birthday to my daughter - it made her day, thank you! Looking forward to being outside on the green during the summer and sampling the new menu and wines. Thank you for a lovely birthday treat x

Great atmosphere, lovely beer garden, the staff are really friendly and the food is excellent. A real treat to visit.

Our favourite place to dine out locally. Sunday lunch for the two of us was, as ever, first class. Polite, professional staff and excellent food prepared and served in welcoming surroundings. Word of advice for would be diners: book early as they are understandably very popular.

Lovely location and that’s about it… ordered bacon and sausage baps, only for an hour later still not to receive them. Staff didn’t seem much bothered about it the situation and was more happy about refunding me rather than feeding me. Any cold drinks/ food, crisps etc you can have straight away but cooked food the opposite.

We had Sunday lunch at the Victory on Easter Sunday. The service and the food were both excellent! Generous portions of lovely food that wouldn’t look out of place in a fine dining restaurant.
