The best restaurants serving British food in East of England

I recently found out this place, the staff is very friendly and the food is amazing! I think they do the best kebab in the town and it's already my regular place!!!

Very good fish and chips thanks to the oil used. Strange opening times at lunch time.Limited access.

I had Lamb Kofta with rice and a lovely fresh salad, hubby had Mackerel and bass in lemon and caper sauce, both were most enjoyable. Another pleasant evening at the Naze Cafe. Also at breakfast they do the best bubble and squeak.

Was the first customer in the morning I had breakfast what a great little place food was good didn't taste cheap and cheerful

Staff are very friendly, always served quickly. I can easily say they have the best coffee locally. I only stop by for takeaway coffees, they are delicious, perfectly made every time and fairly priced. Also to note, perfect place to bring kids, they have a small kids play area.

Lovely owners and great value for money food. The Bacon sarnie I had was clearly high quality meat.

Not a great experience unfortunately . Ordered flat white which came as a regular coffee .. asked for poached eggs and got fried eggs . Most of the food was covered in oil and the sausage was pretty much burnt to a crisp. Beans were also cold. Please upgrade to proper butter as the margarine didn’t even melt into the toast. I left most of mine but husband ate his because he was hungry. Had to get to and find our own cutlery and condiments ! Wasn’t particularly cheap either at £10 a breakfast x Sorry for the review but hopefully you will see it as constructive criticism :) Lady serving was lovely but I think she was on her own and probably overwhelmed x

An awesome exquisite place for different functions

Top-notch Indian food is always hot, and every dish perfection I've had loads of different dishes from here, all fantastic worthy of 5 stars loads of lovely side dishes nann lovely and good value as well and everything we have ordered as been really tasty there's always a little something extra for free tonight it was a lovely lamb dish not a small portion may I add, never is this to greasy either. Never once have we had a bad dish. Customer service is excellent 👌 as well. And the odd few times they forget a part of the order which happens that they rush it out to you really quick no questions asked excellent all round quality and service

Visited a few weeks ago. A fantastic tea room. Delicious cakes and yummy sandwiches. Well done ladies!

We have eaten breakfast, BBQ and lunch here before but we booked for Sunday lunch and certainly weren’t disappointed! We enjoyed starters (plenty of variety) and a fantastic mixed roast with all the trimmings. Meat was cooked to perfection and homemade gravy a real treat. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced and the pub is welcoming and lively. We will be back 😊
