The best restaurants serving British food in East of England

Not been in there in years but it's a good family place to get a bit of dinner.

Hannah was lovely and polite very helpful Will be coming back food is lovely always served very hot was very good we got offered to take food home

As a real ale fan. Possibly one of my favourite pubs. Food normally served quickly, which is cheap and possibly cheerful. Spoons tend to be a Marmite venue!

I popped in Sunday and the service from Ros was amazing. Great asset to the team. Food was great aswell. I will be coming back

This a very nice WS pub,one of the best. Beautiful inside,and old cinema. BUT WS MUST DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE INEDIBLE CHIPS THEY KEEP SERVING. THEY ARE HARd. When will they sort this problem out !

£15 for what was advertised as Katsu chicken. Turned out to be a chicken cutlet with some sauce poured over it, some crinkled peas and a few dry chips. Beer was good

First time to the Lobster, food was good, didn't have to wait long after order taken, friendly smiles from members of the staff.

Went for evening meal, had a warm welcome and excellent food and service. Signature Wellington absolutely delicious, will definitely be returning.

Great meal for my daughters birthday. Food was delicious and the service 5 star. Would definitely recommend.

Can’t fault the location and good being dogs friendly but tables are sticky and no staff seem to clean nor wipe down tables except quickly clear them away to make room for next customer! Not very comfortable with that practice to be honest! Coffee luke warm, serving in water glass, not sure we want to return!

Brilliant meals, 4 different curries and all were delicious. Reasonable prices , good service , clean. Comfortable , welcoming restaurant , will definitely return.

Is there ever a chance of getting soap in the gents/disabled. The water in the tap’s barely works as well so clearly not very hygienic.

Comfortable, clean & cosy. Perfect for a one night stay for one. Shower was hot and strong. I didn't eat in the pub downstairs but looked lovely. 15min walk into centre of Cambridge. Felt like a safe area.

Best roast lamb I've had for ages.
