A Great experience at Whitehart Toby.

We went as a group for the unlimited breakfast because I had an email voucher. The problems started as soon as we walked in the door. Voucher despite saying up to 6; people could only be used for one person which left the rest of the group having to sign up which felt like a data collection exercise. The plates were stone cold and the ones by the toast were wet. The food was hit and miss as some bits were luke warm. Very disappointing

The chef served good portions of meat, all the food was hot and lovely, the only thing I’d say is the mac and cheese was cold, but everything else was perfect. The service was really great, could see she was working really hard. Left very pleased. Thank you for a lovely lunch!!

Absolutely shocking experience at the White Hart Toby for breakfast. Booked a table and when we arrived we got to find our own seats. Queued up for 20 mins for the breakfast because the food continously ran out. The chefs were bringing out small portions at a time which would soon go after a few customers. The gentleman in front of us had told us he'd been there 1.5 hours and was yet to get any Sausages because they kept running out. When we got to the front multiple dishes were empty. My husband asked about hash browns and was told it would be a further 5 minute wait. When he questioned this he was told its a Sunday and their busiest day so what do we expect. It was very obvious they just couldn't keep up with the demand (even though multiple tables were empty). When going up for coffee there was no sugar and they ran out of spoons When taking our little girl to the toilet, the disabled toilets was dirty and the gents toilets were disgusting (my husband made a complaint about this) Multiple people commented on the poor service. We will not be returning.

Our waitress took quite a while to take our drinks order. The starters took at least half an hour to arrive. The carvery looked messy and on eating the food was only warm and the gravy nearly cold. On ordering desserts we were told about four weren't available - luckily had what we wanted which were tasty. No one around to pay so had to go the bar and apparently our waitress had gone off duty!!

Came in on Tuesday and was served by Kaleigh who was so friendly and helpful, quick service, food was tasty and good value for money. Will come again

Way too busy. Shown to a table after waiting 10 minutes for our table. Then just left there with no idea how to order, no one came over. So we left. It was SO busy and rammed full of tables very close together! I was looking forward to trying the roast for our first time but it’s definitely prioritising amount of tables over actual service and comfort

Turkey was lovely, and Hannah's service was great. Would eat here again.

We were very happy with the service from Jo.

Good quality roast dinners. Often, it gets busy, but online booking is easy to navigate. The car park is fairly small but does have wheelchair spaces. There is an overflow carpark nearby. My only criticism of the place is the very tiny accessible toilet.

We often use this toby carvery, normally in the week as we found Sundays were too busy .

My daughter and I booked for dinner tonight and arrived early, it was lovely to see the restaurant busy but understandably our table wasn’t ready. My daughter struggles with waiting due to her autism and a member of staff recognised us as she had served us a few times previously. She picked up on that my daughter was getting overwhelmed and called us through and see us to the table and whilst interacting with my daughter quickly set the table. My daughter loves the carvery and being able to help herself to her dinner. Your waitress JO again after interacting with my daughter quickly served her “pudding” . I asked for the bill and JO brought this as well as letting me know of the discount currently on offer via the app. JO is a very attentive member of staff and I am grateful for kindness tonight in making our visit delightful. Thank you Jo and we look forward to saying hello when we next visit. Dave hall

First time visit, got seated ok no cutlery on table , one of our party went and got drinks from the bar and as no one had come over to our table we went up to get our food there was four of us and two went to get food while the other two stayed at table then we swapped over , had to request cutlery from manager and she delegated and we still had to wait for ages ,and the other two in our group had to wait for the carver to arrive back too. Later, I had to go up to the bar for more drinks as no one around . Finally ordered desserts at the table and a coffee , the bar staff had to bring coffee over as it stood for ages waiting to be brought over

Lovely place, they now serve turkey, beef, gammon and lamb! The only downside for me was they had their floors recently cleaned (which is great) but as I'm disabled I felt like Bambi on ice 😅

Nothing has to change the staff as wonderful and polite and kind and the food is fantastic be back agen soon thank you only thing that needs work is the disabled parking us there is not many and the ones that have parked there do not have a badge and it’s very hard with the wheelchair in a regular parking place

Food was excellent, the service outstanding and the portions generous. There are options for vegan/vegetarians as well. In addition it is a nice pub in a lovely location.

Always a decent plateful of food and meat is always very good. Veg can be a bit tired, as I guess it's been out for a fair amount of time and not always tasting fresh. Service excellent. Jo was great with us and very patient as we tried to grapple with the app and the discount vouchers we had! Many thanks to her, especially as she was obviously busy at peak time!

Very busy place, breakfast is buffet style help yourself.

Food is decent as ever but the veg is getting poor. Been made so far in advance, it looks dry and tired even at lunchtime. Could be a lot fresher sadly.

No service. Was just left. Ordered some bits whilst waiting for group to arrive. Waited another 45 minutes so could order carvery. No one came back. Had to just go help ourselves in the end. Went to bar and they told us to wait for servers who were busy having a conversation in the corner. Food Ordered still hadn't arrived after over an hour. Had to chase. Finally managed to order what we had already eaten after we finished our food. Ordered dessert. Dessert came out wrong. Sent back and they half wiped the plate and gave it back to us. When questioned apparently that's policy. Couldn't Eat it as was Ordered without cream for a reason and they left half of it on the plate. Still charged for dessert. Even though was wrong and refused to redo it. Complained to staff on site and was just brushed off. Refused to remove dessert and told would have to make complaint. Made complaints on 15th December and still no reply. No one has contacted to discuss. Emailed again on 27th December. No reply just a gift voucher sent for the same restaurant I'm not even local to.

The Carvery menu was delicious and delightful, and the service was great. The staff was very kind and helpful especially Jo.

Food was good! Service was fantastic! We hadn’t booked and we got a table for 7 on a Sunday! Atmosphere was quite chilly in the room we were in, also needed some music on as rather quiet. But on the whole very good!

First time visit for years. Food was overcooked and in some cases tasteless. The brussels sprouts were foul.

Price for festive menu too expensive for the choice for each course. Not much on starters we liked or pudding choices.

Great for a huge plate of roast dinner. If you use the Yorkshire puds wisely you can really stack the plate.
