Always a good place to eat and staff are lovely

We were here to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Sam was our server, what a bubbly and kind person she is! Food was brilliant as always.

We went to the beefeater and Sam was our server and she was brilliant we couldn't have asked for more,the food was excellent would highly recommend 😊

Overall disappointed, I was happy to see a Beefeater still open next to a Premier Inn. However when I went in I must have stood at the bar, at least 5 minutes before anyone came to serve me, there was no one in sight. When I went to sit down the chair was badly stained, I went to the opposite seat, it was exactly the same. The food was ok but took a long time to arrive, for a basic beef pie and chips.

What a lovely dinner again. 3rd night here leave tomorrow the burger was fantastic and Milly was such a great representation of the company. This place is really really good. Highly recommended and not costly at all. Thanks Milly. Stuart

Last minute on a Sunday to go for roast dinner, my was it good & plenty off it. Husband had gammon & I had beef was lovely don't be shy to ask for extra potatoes . Emma H you were fabulous, very upbeat, friendly & helpful. THANK YOU 😊

“Unpleasant Experience – Disrespectful Staff and Unhygienic Practices” I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, I had an incredibly disappointing experience. The staff were rude and disrespectful, making us feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in. What made matters worse was the manager, who spoke to us in a way that clearly showed we were not welcome. The lack of courtesy and professionalism was astounding. To make matters even worse, I witnessed something quite disturbing in the kitchen. The bar manager was seen eating directly from someone else’s plate—dipping food into sauce before taking it out to serve to customers. This is not only unhygienic but also completely unacceptable in any food establishment. I won’t be returning, and I would strongly advise others to reconsider dining here.

22nd February 1968 was my arrival . 57 years later 22nd February 2025 I was almost taken out with Raw Undercooked probably recently defrosted chicken . Served at the Brache restaurant Luton. Disappointed totally disappointed. On the plus side the young lady serving was most apologetic and the evidence removed promptly.

The best part of my meal today was the great service from Alisha M, she welcomed us with warm smiles and she was very friendly and sweet, she provided us and the tables around us with amazing service and makes me want to come here again.

Was very busy (late valentines meals at a guess) food was good for the price, Jason our server was lovely. Obviously trying to do a lot of work around allergies as we were asked at least 3 times.

Amazing breakfast and service. They ran out of Fred’s eggs each time I went up but there was always scrambled eggs which were nice. Love the location and the staff were friendly and accommodating especially after I booked the wrong day and effectively had no booking they still accommodated us magnificently. Well done!

We visited on 8th February for a family Birthday party with 2 very small children. The food was cooked to perfection and delivered to the table quickly. Nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff who looked after us. Special thanks to Milly for all her hard work and going that extra mile to make sure we all had a great time

I dine at The Brache regularly and the staff are always very pleasant and helpful, especially Jason and Lauren. The food is always excellent. However, on my recent visit last Saturday, my partner ordered the side dish of garlic king prawns with his steak. Upon receiving his meal, the prawns were on the plate, both of them!! Yes 2 prawns, I think £4.99 for 2 prawns is outrageous and I would hardly call that a side dish. I can buy a whole pack of them in the supermarket for £2 - £3. I would certainly not order them again at that price, ridiculous.

Food was fine only my starter came out at the same time as my main course had to wait quite some time

Absolutely wonderful food. Service was so friendly and we were made to feel really welcome by Lauren our server.

We have had a number of enjoyable evenings here. The food isn’t 5 star, but they don’t charge 5 star prices! I think there is a good selection, and it always tastes good. Also cater for Gluten Free which is a life saver when you are a coeliac. The staff are never short of amazing, Milly and Sam are both stars and that’s just to name two. All in all, I’d happily recommend the Brache. 😊

Booked online for 2 ppl, good Ai voice booking. Once inside the venue, you book your car in on their car booking console. Milly served us, so polite, friendly and attentive. Food was lovely.

Superb breakfast, plenty to choose from including continental. Great for the kids as they eat free. Just overall really good value for money . Thank you beefeater

Plenty of parking ,lovely atmosphere nice clean place ,had to wait at reception before being seated,but once seated the service was really great.

Their artificial "intelligence" robot on the booking line could not understand my question about did they serve bar meals. The trick is to say "give me a human being" and you get transferred to a real person (who did understand btw)

We were asked to cut our birthday celebrations short because they had double booked the table we were sat stand apparently the next group too priority!! Rediculous way to treat guests!! Also hair was found in ice cream

I took a resident from a local care home to the brache to meet his fiancee for dinner. The waitress (lauren) was absolutely lovely and very welcoming to them and the carers. We will definitely be going back.

Having been a loyal customer of the bra he fir years and having had some amazing meals over the years I was so disappointed this Sunday to see half the menu was unavailable. I tried to order chicken and ribs but it wasn't available. So finally had a mixed grill. We had to wait a while but the restaurant and bar were not busy. And when it came the onion rings didn't taste right and the sausages were burnt. I ordered after a while deserts and I eventually had to go back and remind them we had ordered deserts as they had forgotten. So a disappointing time you can do better brache.

We went to celebrate a birthday. We were served by Hannah who was lovely and attentive. It was her first day on the floor and she did a fantastic job! Food was enjoyed, apart from the burgers, that were over cooked and hard to eat. Chicken, ribs and steaks were all good.

If we’re lucky with traffic and there’s no holdups on the motorway on the way to the airport, then we’ll book a table at The Brache when we get close to Luton - it maybe a little bit cheaper than similar establishments inside the terminal and more wholesome than the fast-food outlets on the nearby retail park. On this occasion we were served by Scott, who was extremely professional, attentive, enthusiastic and communicative. He actually made our lunchtime meal into one of the best we’ve ever had at any Beefeater. We didn’t have to wait long for our meals to be served and when they arrived, they were hot and tasted delicious. We’ll be back!

It was adequate. Food was fine, what we expected. Premises badly in need of refurbishment. Service was friendly and efficient, though. And it's convenient for the airport.

OH DEAR....THERE USED TO BE A NICE RESTAURANT THERE.. a very regular visitor as its my local. Been going for years..suddenly over the last year it's gone downhill and VERY VERY FAST .. constantly running out of items. Always has this grubby feel to it, the walls the carpet and I'm not even going to mention the waiting times for food. Why has it gotten so terrible. Went for food few days ago and told there's no food unless you've prebooked.... THE PLACE WAS EMPTY . Please read this review and fix this and restore this once great eatery in luton back to the top where it rightfully should be.

I was disappointed with my recent visit. Our menu was discussed several weeks before the visit, and I was looking forward to enjoying the food with my colleagues, but being a vegetarian, I was informed that my main dish (Vegetable Wellington) was not available on the day. I think the lack of communication made my experience unsatisfactory. We were also told on the day that a dessert was also unavailable, which we originally ordered.

Christmas eve dinner. Very reasonably priced for a 3 course meal. Food very nice, no issues encountered. A few items not available at no fault of the restaurant, but this was not an issue for us. Staff very welcoming and friendly , our server Scott very attentive and friendly. Would recommend.

Christmas set menu was dreadful. Cheese fondue and pate come with two tiny sticks of bread so you’ll have two thirds of starter left with nothing to eat it with. If you ask for more bread, it’s chargeable which they don’t tell you at the time. The Turkey was horrendous. Spoke to Guest Relations who then palmed me off saying I need to get a refund from the restaurant and call them directly. I spoke to a Stacey on 17/12/24 who guaranteed a callback from Pat the manager on 18/12/24. Of course, I get no callback. Have spoken to “Manager” Pat since. Received no apology for no callback and she was honestly the rudest, most arrogant “manager” I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to in my life. She’s one of those people that just constantly interrupts you and talks over you in an aggressive tone when you are trying to talk. Three times during the call when I was talking she just randomly started speaking to other people so clearly wasn’t listening. She comes across very disrespectful and rude. I dread to think how she talks to and treats her staff.

From seating to ordering was around 20 minutes, to then still waiting an hour later to even be asked what you would like... I understand it's Christmas and there is larger groups but don't ignore your smaller groups because you're not going to make as much. Pigs in blankets were pretty much burnt. Steaks were not cooked as asked, just an all round average meal. Perhaps they need to re-think their prices. Well over £100 bill for 3 people... Have visited this restaurant several times, for celebrations or just meeting friends.. never known service like this here before. Hopefully they was just struggling because of christmas and this is not going to be the service going forward.

Must be the worst festive dinner I have ever seen,expected turkey breast,but all 4 dinners existed of what looked liked the underside of the bird,sprouts were overcookedand the parsnips rock hard,one came without a Yorkshire,the desserts were just as bad the mint sundae consisted of a glass of ice cream with a tea spoon of sauce at the bottom and 2 after eights,and the match maker sundae had 1 match maker at the top and another broken in half at the bottom,very dissapointed

When we arrived at 7:25pm, the queue was snaking out of the door, with groups booked for 7pm still waiting to be seated. We were guided to our table past loads of tables, full of dirty plates waiting to be cleared. Our table was upstairs. The cutlery was dirty, and the seats were badly stained. We waited 5 mins to order our drinks and 20 mins for them to arrive. We had to ask someone to take our food order. After an hour, we were still waiting for our starters. We said to the waiting staff we had been waiting an hour, and if we didn't get our starters in the next 5 minutes, we were going to leave at. No food, and no one came over to explain when it would be likely to arrive, so we left as we had children with us. We watched a family who had come in behind us sitting on the floor below get their starters and mains and finish their meal in the same time frame. The service was exceptionally poor, the waiting staff was non-existent, and there was no kind of urgency or concern. Would we book again? Absolutely not. We told a family who had just sat down that they were in for a long wait, and they got up and left at the same time as us. We went home and ordered a takeaway rather than enjoy our festive family get-together that had been booked with this restaurant weeks in advance.

I've visited this restaurant many times, and today was obviously a one-off so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. But, it is obvious that the move from cook-to-order to a buffet service is not the right option. Less a bad restaurant, not even a must-try-harder comment on the staff, but a could-do-better on the methods being used by Beefeater as a whole.

The Service was fantastic. Rama was brilliant and helped turn a 2 star meal into a 5 star experience for my wife & I. It's just a shame the food does not match the quality of your staff.

Usual Beefeater fayre. Casual atmosphere. Food reliable staples. Had the festive 3 course meal. Cheese fondue starter - nice and cheesy. Decent turkey dinner. Christmas pud - don't bother. Small overcooked, microwave style, chewy offering.

Girls behind the bar were arguably the greatest bar maids the world has ever seen. Went above and beyond, with masks!!

So… this is the very first time I have ever been to a Beefeater and I noticed there are a couple around Luton. The one we went to was next to the retail park called The Brache. As soon as we sat at our table we noticed one of the forks were filthy like the residue of the last person who ate with it was just left to dry out. Then we waited about fifteen minutes before we got served and the food was served after three quarters of an hour. Let me not stop there. I ordered Fish and chips it was horrible. Although the plate was hot I think the fish has just come out of the sea!!! It was cold and the batter tasted like paper. The children’s pasta was horrific!! It was bland and horrible. The vegan burger, you could basically choke on the hardness of the so called bacon. Honestly, this is the worse of the worse restaurant I have ever eaten out in and I wouldn’t even recommend it to my worst enemy!! NEVER EVER AGAIN. I know I’m not a celebrity but I would rather join those who are in the jungle right now. They’re having a better experience than I in this awful, awful restaurant. They don’t even deserve that one star and to finish it off the waitress couldn’t give me a receipt because there was no paper roll in the machine!!! You’d think that this would be one of the first things they would check before they start. Really it’s appalling and disgraceful. Never again and in today’s technology you should be aware you could be on candid camera!!!

My meal was served on an enamel baking tray! It looked and tasted bland and unappetising. Won't be going back Dreadful. Waited ages for food.

Food dire, seen better presentation of food in a 10 year olds cookery class. Remember to register your car otherwise you will be fined £95 for the pleasure if visiting this 'restaurant'. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I had the chicken wings to start followed by the surf and turf combo. The wings were fine but the surf and turf combo was poor, it arrived with no king prawns drizzled in garlic and parsley, the steak was very tough and fairly tasteless. The highlight of the evening was the server - Lauren - beautiful lady inside and out who was very bubbly and always had a smile.

We had a lovely meal at the Beefeater. Our waitress, Milly, was fantastic – if you’re lucky enough to have her serve your table, you’re in for a great experience! The atmosphere was briefly disrupted when some of the staff began preparing for breakfast a bit noisily, but it didn’t last long, and the pleasant ambiance soon returned. I highly recommend the cheesecake, but I was a bit disappointed by the sticky toffee pudding. Thanks so much!

Last time we came in here was a few years ago I believe and it was great,sorry to say but its definitely gone downhill and worst of all....the toilets,omg they are disgusting. Food and service where ok but the place is tired and someone needs to get the toilets cleaned both Gents and Ladies,my wife said the ladies where horrendous.

Just avoid. We are here twice- evening meal and breakfast. Evening meal: wrong dish was brought out (ordered vegetarian and chicken was served), then the replacement was simply inedible it was so hard. We never complain or send food back but for the second time the food went back (not paying for something that physically couldn’t be eaten). We were offered an alternative so ordered some fried mushrooms and onion rings. Both were sopping in grease but were at least edible. The other meal was a lasagna which tasted like a discount frozen ready meal. Not impressed at all but it was edible so didn’t mention it. They did take all the other food off the bill though which was good (dare I say essential). Breakfast: everything very greasy, poor quality ingredients, poor selection of continental options and no visible options for plant based alternatives like soy/oat milk, vegan sausages etc. My partner did end up asking for vegetarian sausages which they said they could do, and would bring over in a few minutes. 25 minutes goes by, still nothing, by this point she had to leave to catch a train, having only had some beans on toast and an apple juice. Absolute joke of a place. I normally eat like a starved horse and could hardly stomach a small plate. And we still paid full price for both breakfasts TLDR: Dreadful food, poor dietary options, overpriced

Ate there this morning and was very disappointed. Buffet food was stone cold and some items looked like they had been sat there for a while (beans had a layer of sauce glazed on the top). Lipstick found on a clean mug which I handed back, no apologies from the staff. One staff member was rude when we asked to move tables and would not accommodate us wanting to move. She completely shut us down and walked off whilst I was mod sentence. As they make you pay before you sit, the staff then wash their hands of you and don’t interact at all. Not going back there!

Okay place warm and inviting with great service. Only let down were the state of toilets all the gents floor were wet with no signs ans dangerous especially for old people and children, taps loose and overall in need of revamp. Apart from that it was okay.

We were both given about 15 chips. When we questioned the waitress she said there was a party of 20 or more in the bar area which weren’t catered for so everyone was getting small portions so there were enough to go around!

I've always liked the Brache. Every time I've been there the food has always been good. The service brilliant and cost reasonable.

My friends and I had a lovely lunch. Food was great, also the atmosphere. Place was clean and tidy. The food came on time and was nice and hot. Very relaxing atmosphere. Refillable drinks was excellent. It was great value for money.

Went to the Brache beefeater for my son's 263rd month birthday. We arrived as a table of 7 walking in, me, Johnny, Jenny, Jefferey, Jacky, Jodie and Steve and were sat immediately. Steve has an allergy to eggs, fish, nuts, sesame, celery, sunlight, tap water and ginger people. The staff were extremely accommodating to Steve's allergies. Especially our server Jason who sat us as far away from the red heads as possible so Steve was safe.

Another lovely meal with great service. It was busy but didn't have to wait for our food.

Nachos were cold and the toppings were cold and not cheap. Didn’t enjoy at all. Haloumi burger was sloppy and mean with the halumi.- bearable but for the price. Not good value. Avoid unless you desperate like I was
