Very friendly staff. Ceiling not clean in room. Usually excellent. Very average this time.

More bar staff is needed for a busy hotel like this; one person is not enough for hundreds of hungry diners. Rooms could do with a touch of paint, but otherwise, okay.

An exceptional service with a genuine human touch—helped me through a missed flight and provided much-needed comfort. Highly recommended.

This hotel saved us from a sleepless night! There was a choice: either sit all night at Luton Airport, where there was NO way to lie down AT ALL, or pay £99 for three and get a small room with lovely beds and a bathroom with hot water. We had a great night's sleep and that's the most important thing!)) At the reception they kindly provided us with a charger for our phone. 🤩

Had booked into this hotel to stay before flying early the next morning. We had a bit of a wait to check in upon our arrival and were finally given room keys at about 2330hrs. Got to the room only to find a man already in it. Needless to say we woke him up as we opened the door and both us and him were equally startled! Informed staff that our room was already occupied and they were not at all bothered, stating this happens commonly due to a new computer system. Didn’t give us much peace of mind as we went to sleep that someone wasn’t about to barge into the room.

Convenient location, close to the airport. Room comfy with good-sized bed. Unfortunately parking is not big enough, you can not book it in advance.

Cannot fault the location, 10min walk to the airport and you can leave your car here parked for the duration. Note parking fills fast. Its £13 for each night of your stay and then £22 a night if you're not a guest. All can be paid at the reception when you arrive. We did this and saved us moving the car. Prices were actually comparable to airport parking. The hotel has definitely had an upgrade since I stayed a few years ago and though we didn't use any facilities in reception, it looked good. The rooms were a good size. Bathrooms a little odd as it looks like a portacabin type bathroom had been slotted in so there was a step up into it from the room, but not bad. All in all good location and great for a night or two at the airport. Staff were lovely too and very helpful. Very quiet despite being so close to the runway and great value too for london.

Okay for one night... Cold rooms and prison-like look of the hotel drag the rating down. Also, oily water??? Makes showering very uncomfortable!

Booked this trip as knew I would arrive in the early hours. I turned up and wasted 30 minutes or more trying to get into a room only to be told that many of the rooms aren’t accessible as the card reader doesn’t work. I wondered why they would give these rooms to people if they knew this. Then given a room that wasn’t what I paid for. I had no choice as it was early morning so couldn’t go elsewhere. Overall beside the poor service the hotel hasn’t been shown any love in a long time . It’s dirty and tired. Even the towels are dirty that I was given. There are many other hotels close to the airport so best to avoid this one.

Best hotel I have stayed at so far! Located right next to Luton Airport, Ibis is a great place to stay until your next flight! There is so much to unpack here. Let’s start with the rooms. It is nice and quiet in the rooms, but I need to talk about the beds. The beds are some of the best beds out there. The mattress is so comfortable (it’s made specially for Ibis, which is cool), while the pillows are that soft, that they can be compared to a marshmallow (imagine sleeping on a big marshmallow on a pillow… 🥰🥰). Enough dreaming, let’s continue this review! Now, I need to talk about the staff. The staff are really kind and are some of the nicest people I ever met. They work so hard at their job, and they do it great. In fact, they deserve a raise. The service here is 2000/10 (not an over exaggeration). One last thing, the hotel itself is really chill. When you wait for your taxi to take you to the airport, there is a lounge you can chill on. They have everything. USB sockets for charging your phone (even wireless charging)? Check ✅. Comfy chairs? Check ✅. Delicious food and drinks? Check ✅. 24/7 service? Check x2 ✅✅. They even have a professional pool table (I’m not lying) so you can sort out life long rivalries over a game of pool while waiting for your flight. Pretty cool, right? Overall, this hotel is in my top 5 of the best hotels ever. I don’t need to say anymore. Just come here and see for yourself! Great option hotel for flying out of Luton for a low cost stay

My evaluation is based on the type and reason for choosing the structure. I was looking for a place near the airport with a clean room and breakfast. It met my expectations. 10 minute walk, cozy room, good price and breakfast still quite varied. As a base for 1 night it's more than fine

Great location by the Luton airport. The guest room is clean and spacious. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out process is very easy. Great experience 👍

Absolutely shockingly bad breakfast. Probably the worst I've had.

Reception promised to make a refund because I did reservation on wrong day and said to pay again. When I tried to refund through hotels.com, they told me that ibis London Luton Airport hotel refused a request. Absolutely disgusting experience.

The rooms are small, the air conditioner is broken. I lost my key in the room, but when I tried to contact the hotel again, no one responded. I contacted by email and phone at least 20 times in three days, no response. Highly not recommended

Good for a one night stay. Small room. Comfortable bed. We were close to the lift and didn't hear a thing. 13 mins walk with cases to the terminal. There are buses throughout the night from outside the Holiday Inn next door. Only had cheesecake downstairs on the table and chairs near reception, which didn't taste very nice

Perfect location as only 10 mins from Luton airport by foot and staff are lovely. Only issue is that the rooms are VERY run down. Have stayed here twice in the last year and still the same. Paint peeling, dirty looking. It's a place to rest before or after a trip but wouldn't want to stay longer than a night.

Nice staff cheap & cheerful place

Obviously this is an airport hotel so is purely for convenience, but even for an Ibis this basic. (And I choose this normal ibis over the ibis budget!) Room quite compact two people moving around the room have to coordinated movement, the bathroom is equipped but our shower did not work properly. The tap that turns it from the bath tap into the shower leaks so the pressure of the shower is non existent. The 2 plugs in the room do not work properly, almost shorting so devices keep turning off. Only one very thin pillow per person Staff very friendly and a convenient little bar / snack count Frequent bus to the airport with times at all hours. It is still value for money but some bare essentials need to be looked at.

Ibis London Luton Airport, could be the ideal choice for travelers, if only it delivered on its promise to give you ‘a cosy room with all amenities you will need for a comfortable stay and a stylish welcome’. Unfortunately, the reality did not match this polished image. The room I stayed in was a far cry from the bright, clean, modern spaces depicted online. Instead of stylish wooden floors and cosy finishes, I encountered worn and dirty carpets, mismatched paintwork, neglected ceilings and a few damaged fixtures. At £70, Ibis Luton is definitely cheaper than competitors like Holiday Inn and The Courtyard by Marriott. Its price point, coupled with its proximity to the airport—it is the second-closest hotel to the terminal—are undeniable advantages. Its strongest asset by far is its staff. Both the front desk and bar teams provided efficient, professional, and genuinely welcoming service, making every effort to elevate my experience. Despite these positives, Ibis Luton failed to live up to its self-proclaimed standards. The advertised promise of comfort and style feels unfulfilled, leaving the property struggling to justify its three-star rating.

It's in a great position for the airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and we had lots of choices for breakfast.

The strong point is that it is close to the airport. I am very dissatisfied with the cold in the room, with the extraordinary cold in the bathroom. The air conditioner has been working since this morning and now it is evening and I can say that it is warm. Only now. In the room. In the bathroom has a fridge. The bed is comfortable, it's clean, but the cold is unpleasant. It's hot in the reception, even though the door opens all the time.

The high costs only seem to be justified due to the location. The room heating wouldn't change even if the thermostats were adjusted. Same with the showers. The water temperature was constant and turning the knobs didn't help. The towels didn't seem clean. There was no food in the restaurant at 11 PM. Parking was paid which the booking websites didn't mention.

The hotel has an acceptable price even if you book a few days in advance compared to the competition. The rooms were clean, simple and had basically everything one needs for an early morning flight or arriving from an overnight flight. The bathroom deserves renovation.

Dirty mattress and bed frame was dusty with some white powder all over it, looked to me like a bedbugs killer powder. Shower tap not working, only bath tap was working. Ground floor room 118.

Good service and reasonable prices.

Great service and close to the airport. Unfortunatly the room wasn't the greatest as the tile in the bathroom was completely loose and the shower stayed very lukewarm/cold, but it was clean and fine to sleep in. Loved the tea in the room.

Very close to Luton Airport, 10-15 minute walk. Had an early flight so it was perfect to sleep this close to the airport and just wake up in the morning and arrive after a short walk.

If you like to walk, then you will like the location. We had to do an overnight and stayed here. It’s a 15 minute walk from the Luton Airport. The path is lighted up and easy to do at any time of the day. However, if you are carrying lots of luggage, the walk can be terrible. A taxi from the airport to the hotel is 20 pounds and the hotel does not offer shuttle which is odd for an airport hotel. Staff at the hotel were welcoming and check-in was easy. The hotel is outdated with old rugs and lighting. The room is mini. Like when I walked in, I felt I was in a Barbie doll house but without the colors. Super small with two super small beds stuck together in a space that you can barely move. For an overnight I would do it again since the price was low but for an extended stay it would be a terrible idea. Also, if you are a light sleeper just be aware that you hear many airplanes ✈️

The hotel is about 10 mins walk away from airport. The rooms are like boxes with small uncomfortable beds and not very nice bedding.The towels were worn and had holes in. The bathroom was clean but shower was very dated and basic. We only stayed a few hours to get a little sleep after out journey but that was enough.

I arrived after a delayed flight in early hours of the morning, the reception staff were not very helpful of welcoming. The room was very small, opening the door I was barely able to enter the room with my case!. The room was in my opinion tired with a bath room that was functionable but the shower arrangements were very basic. This was a one night stay and given the choice of hotels in the area, this regretably would not be my first choice should I return

The organization was absolutely terrible. My experience started with a mistake during check-in, which resulted in other guests being assigned to my room. At 3 AM, they entered my room while I was already asleep, which was both shocking and unsettling. After spending the next day out, I returned to my room late at night, only to discover that all of my belongings were missing. Since it was already midnight, the cleaning staff had left, and the reception couldn’t help because they couldn’t find my items. I had a flight at 7 AM the next morning, and with the cleaning team not returning until 6:30 AM, there was no way to resolve the issue in time. As a result, I lost all of my belongings. This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable!

10 to 15 minute walk to the terminal, quiet enough hotel that is fairly clean however, the toilet needed to be pushed 4 or 5 times to get ot to flush and if the person above needs to use the toilet you will basically hear it

Don't book! Hotel old, dirty and not fit for purpose. Spend more. Housekeeping came in the room while we were in bed, way before the check out time.

Hotel quite outdated, bed was too close to the door. There was not enough pressure in the shower and the tub is slippery

Very good for layover connecting flights

Firstly I have raised a complaint with you, which you still have not got back to me on. Secondly the hotel was more like a prison than hotel, it is completely overpriced and I have been massively ripped off. Secondly, do not book the stay with parking, they suggest online that it is for the entirety of your stay however it is just for 2 nights. I was forced to pay and additional £132 when I arrived - it would have been cheaper to just pay the fine. Do not book.

Convenient hotel 10 minutes walk from the airport. Like many hotels near the airport, there are a lot of people there and the rooms can be noisy.

Convenient hotel near Luton Airport, however needs upgrading. Also, it needs to improve anti-aircraft noise for the guest to have sound and uninterrupted sleep against the airport noise. Remote control of TV and the card lock is not functioning properly.

Very easy to get to the airport at 3am. Bus right outside. The windows were magic though as barely heard any planes! Was as quiet as hearing them from your garden! Food was really good too and reasonably priced

Great location for the airport, they don't include the parking charge so be ready to add that to your costs. The rooms are small but fine, soundproofing is very good so no being woken by road or plane sounds.

This hotel has a really great location, it's right near the Luton airport, so if you have an early flight out, this is a great option. However, it is quite outdated and not super clean. The restaurant menu is not super healthy, but that's fine. Staff is very friendly. Overall, it's passable for one night.

room was comfortable but there was a constant loud humming noise all night, so i couldnt sleep. i checked in at midnight and had an early morning flight, so just needed somewhere to sleep close to airport. location is good, but as arrived at midnight i got in a taxi and cost £18! was only a 10 minute walk back to airport in the morning.

Unremarkable room. 20 minute walk to terminal - no hotel shuttle bus. Easy to find. On the whole, it is convenient for both early departure and late arrival.

Very close to the airport, short walk away. Nice staff at reception as well as the people I saw in the corridors. Room has everything you need, shampoo, iron, hair dryer. My only issue is that the TV was capped at volume 12 and couldn't go any higher.

Great location within easy walking distance of Luton airport. Room was comfy if a bit smaller than similarly priced hotels. Dark charcoal walls and decor in the entry and restaurant is a bit odd and makes the place feel a bit seedy, but it's reasonably good value and breakfast was okay.

When I arrived at the hotel I requested a quiet room as I am not a good sleeper and the girl at reception picked one at the end of a corridor which was perfect! All the members of staff I interacted with were very friendly, polite, and helpful. The only downside for me was the menu at the restaurant: I had intended on eating there but nothing really appealed so I ended up walking to the terminal to get some food.

Very busy hotel, upon arrival the reception was part of the bar so was noisy. Lots of tables overflowing with dirty glasses and plates. The man at reception was not the most welcoming. He was suspicious of us as our boss had booked our room and wasn't present at the time of check-in. We gave the full address, name, and booking reference but still had to show photo ID before he would check us in. Didn't ask if we had come in a car, so when we eventually got our room key and turned the corner towards the lifts, we saw a sign about registering the car details. I went back and was met with a long queue, which was really annoying. £26 parking fee for 2 nights! Can't fault the room. It was clean and tidy and had a comfortable bed. Went back down to reception a bit later to get some extra tea bags and milk. I asked for 8 small milk sachets and was told, 'I only have 4,' placed them on the counter, no ' so sorry I only have these.4 left'. It was like those I'd what I have, that's it attitude. Not the friendliest vibe from the hotel, busy noisy and not great. Disappointed.

Great option for an overnight layover. About 10-12 minutes away from the airport, the room was very quiet, with a comfy big bed, and everything was clean and tidy. Towels, shampoo, body wash, kettle, tea, coffee, TV - all you might need is there. The staff is very friendly and helpful :)

Absolute embarrassment. The public areas are filthy, the way the bar staff treated us and other customers was disgusting, not even looking at you when servings you, slamming the card machine down after ordering without telling you the cost. We are all well travelled, polite decent people, who do not deserve to be treated with such contempt. Disgraceful, filthy and without doubt the worst service I have ever experienced in a hotel.

If you need to stay close to the airport this place is perfect. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of food choice. The hotel has a little gym which was useful. Staff very friendly and beds were very comfortable.

Excellent location to stay at if you have an early flight from Luton. Walking distance from the airport (about 7mins or so). Very clean rooms and helpful staff. Was able to check in at 11pm with no issues what so ever. Surprisingly quiet at night despite being so close to the airport. One thing to keep in mind, it's a cashless hotel so everything has to be paid for by card.

Perfectly decent for the money especially. Room’s are small and basic, but service is good and hotel is clean and at 10mins walk to the terminal it’s very convenient.

Very disappointing stay. Unrenovated hotel, no recognition of the status (no drink voucher given at check-in), very insufficient sockets in the room, and very poorly placed (only one socket available without having to unplug the telephone from the room). Very very basic room. Correct cleanliness, nothing more. Extremely bad WiFi. For the price and for an Ibis, it is very disappointing.

Very kind and approachable staff, they were helpful. The location is great for the airport or coach drop off/pick up. The room was clean and well equipped with what we needed.

Very basic, rooms very dated. Carpets have a weird powder round the edges. Bed is very hard, staff unable to provide additional pillows. Only has plug sockets on one side of the bed. Staff friendly and wine was nice.

Strange check in experience as reception seems to double up as a cafe.. Rooms have a feel of Yugoslavian youth hostel…. A particularly depressing place to spend the night! Had to sell my kidney for 2 cans of water and a snickers - £7.25 whilst standing at the bar to purchase them I was completely ignored by member of staff until I had to ask her if I could pay…. UNBELIEVABLE Not exactly the Grovesnor…

It is what you expect for an Ibis that price. The location is great if you gotta catch a flight. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The Restaurant has a lot of options to choose from and is better than expected for an aiport hotel.

I just needed a place to crash for the night and catch an early plane. It's 10 minutes walk to the airport and this is very useful. Staff was very nice, everyone friendly and helpful. The room (specially bathroom) had a "dated" feel, although it was nice and clean. The restaurant menu is quite limited (mainly burger, fish&chips, pizza stuff). Overall, for a night after a late in flight, or to catch an early one, the hotel is great and offers good money value.
