Sunday roast was lovely staff very friendly and welcoming would go again Nice little pub if your having a walk or just popping by

We had a good time at the restaurant, nestled away from wedding festivities elsewhere on the grounds. The wait staff were both friendly and attentive. The cream tea was good and we were indulged without the usual reservations requirement which was appreciated. Our sandwiches were fresh with tasty fillings and the scones warm and generously sized. However for the price we felt the trio of desserts was incredibly basic. A real shame since the rest was so enjoyable.

Quality Sunday lunch with friends from Brazil. Beef, Lamb and Chicken all excellent. Nice roasties, veg, yorkshires and gravy. Excellent ales. Lovely sweet service. Highly recommended. Thanks

A superb pub restaurant in Stebbing village. Warm welcome from staff and owner with friendly locals, lovely atmosphere with oak beamed bar, restaurant and cosy lounge. Food is brilliant especially Pizzas (cooked by Italian chef) Been here previously with friends who all want to go again … thought I should recommend … absolutely 5*

First time revisiting the pub since new owners. Went for Thursday Steak night and the steak connoisseur with us gave it a big thumbs up. I had the Teriyaki chicken which was very tasty. We were sat at a table in the dog friendly bar area near the fire, the only criticism was the too bright spotlight above (which was pointed out).Highly recommend for food in the area

We booked a table for Tuesday evening, lovely decor but the slowest service possible. Only 2 people serving, some food even brought out by chef. Staff looked stressed, and were rushing around. Food nice but didn’t have dessert as couldn’t wait that long.

Lovely lunch this afternoon, Sean was absolutely brilliant and the food was fab Visited here a few times and have never had a negative experience
