First time I have been here. We went for a family birthday lunch, 14 of us. We were the only customers! (Presumably they have most customers at night?). I must say I was impressed with the venue, everything covered in white, looked ready for a wedding reception. The staff were very attentive, the food was excellent - and plenty of it. For what we got it was reasonably priced, and we all agreed we will certainly go here for lunch again.

Excellent food, service and welcome. The salads are wonderful. Fresh and good quality ingredients. I’m a healthy eating freak and don’t go for toasties and paninis so a delicious and healthy salad is a rare and welcome option that isn’t offered at a lot of eating places. Their menu is varied catering to different tastes. Oh and their cakes are to die for when you fancy a sweet treat. Book to avoid disappointment as this place is very popular!

Milkshakes were brilliant, ordered the chocolog pancakes which on the menu states it comes with some chocolate log unfortunately neither turned up with any on the plate, when I mentioned it at the till got a half bothered apology and was still charged full price, which is a shame because if they had run out I would have like to have being told but to not even discount the puddings due to missing item seems poor customer service to me, was going to go for breakfast there tomorrow but think I will give it a miss now, which is a shame cos the menu does look great.

Walked all the way from Great Easton expecting to get lunch. Only to be told they haven't been doing food since January. Pity they can't update their website so everyone knows. Have been here several times before but won't be going again.

We had an amazing Sunday roast today at the Dog and Duck, 1 beef and 1 pork. Huge portions, loads of veg, and a great cauliflower cheese thrown in as a bonus, the roast potatoes were spot on too, always a good measure on a roast dinner out! Food and plates were piping hot, bonus points for that too service was great, lovely girls, and a really nice chilled atmosphere. We shared a chocolate fudge cake desert, which was to die for, definitely food coma inducing. The best roast I've had out in a long time, well done ✔️

Went as a family of four on a Friday early evening. Wasn't greeted before others arriving after us. Sat at table and drinks and meal orders were fine. Food was good and everybody happy. Then after plates cleared away we were left alone for quite some time hoping to see a dessert menu or get more drinks but after half an hour decided to leave and had to go to the bar to get the bill paid. Then generally ignored on way out. Don't know if this is a locals only pub but service was lacking.

The Kings arms hosted my grandfathers wake a few months ago and I cannot recommend them enough. They were kind and helpful when setting up the wake at short notice, they even offered for us to drop over some pictures of my grandfather earlier in the day of the wake, so they could put the photos up on the walls as a memorial. It was lovely for the extended friends and family to see pictures of my grandfather from over the years. The food was also lovely, there was a few packages to choose from and they also catered for a few family members allergies. At events like this there is usually a lot of leftovers but the food was so good everything got eaten during the wake and revived a lot of complaints. Thanks again to the team there, we really appreciate your kindness at such a difficult time
