The best restaurants serving British food in Diss South Norfolk East of England

A warm and friendly welcome was just what we needed on a cold winter’s day. Very good food and coffee, prompt service with a smile. Lovely local art works on display too.

The food was amazing , everything was cooked beautifully and the staff were very attentive and informative . Amazing value for a set 2 or 3 course with just the right size menu to choose from . You know if a menu is too vast it’s not doable for the chef to be all his own work . Thank you everyone . We had a lovely evening

In my opinion our experience of this place was not good, I’m not sure if it has new management at all but the food certainly wasn’t good, the “five item” breakfast !!! £9.80 I have never seen such very small items !! The coleslaw that came with my food was in what looked like an egg cup, we have been to this cafe on many occasions over the years but I’m afraid this visit will be our last, it could do with a really good clean inside and out the toilet room is dirty, the tables outside were dirty too, I was also very surprised how empty the cafe was at lunch time, this review is our own experience at this cafe,

Another great visit with the family, very nice food and drink and accommodating staff, good atmosphere as always, an overall nice experience, see you again soon

The food was good but the restaurant was SO cold in there, ate my lunch with my coat still on as did most people. Spoilt the enjoyment of the outing.

The empty dining room should have warned us 1 Then after several attempts to order an embarrassed but polite waitress informed my friends and I who regularly meet up for local lunches out, that most of the limited menu choices were not available as the chef was leaving [thankfully I suggest.}. When the tepid, insipid reheated unappetising lasagne, with a sad very wilted green salad and warm chips arrived - I could not eat it . This was far worse than any school diner. One of our party ordered pate which was obviously bought in and proved the best choice but her green salad was the same as mine. After complaint we did get a small refund. The Park historically was the place to go in Diss although it has slowly over the years lost its former reputation. Regrettably none of our group will be looking to rebook any time soon.

Café Délices is a really nice place to eat all your favorite food. It serves dishes from breakfast, light meals and lunches. Also serves scones and cakes. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

As my heading states. Friendly smiling staff. Very reasonable prices. Nice drinks, I highly recommend this establishment to everyone.

The café floor I don't think has ever been cleaned.tables needed cleaning.one poor girl on the till and giving out food clearing away going to get numbers .will not return.coffee machine out of order.water all over the floor
