the staff seem too snobby to be running a little kiosk... if it was managed better then yeah it is what it is.. .a standard hut for sweets and drinks... just don't talk to the staff and all is well

Run by a very young and enterprising lad called Ollie, who is also a local town Councillor, the pavillion is open from Thursdays to Mondays and serves up a variety of hot and cold drinks including one of the best hot chocolates in the town. He also makes all the sandwiches fresh and presents them on a china plate with a small serving of salad. There is an enormous amount of ice creams to choose from which will cool you and your children off after playing on this very clean and well kept park which has a good array of play equipment for all ages to enjoy and lots of benches where you can just sit and watch the children play or the ducks splashing about in the mere with its splendid fountain!

We came on 14/10/24 for a family wake. Mandy and Simon did an amazing job of making the room welcoming and accommodating us with all our wishes. The service and food were of excellent quality with a very fair price and there was plenty for all. It was so nice that even the cakes were iced in the favourite colours of our late family member, not requested but we felt was such a lovely added touch. Thank you Mandy and Simon, we would definitely recommend you.

3 of us had lunch here. We all chose something different and each dish was great. Everything was lovely and fresh. The soup was homemade with a generous portion of bread. The sandwich from the specials was accompanied by two types of salad as was the sausage roll. The service was efficient and friendly too. I highly recommend.

Found the cafe purely by accident, on the High Street, stopping in Loddon for something to do on a rather autumnal day. You will find it near to the take away and funeral services, but don't let that deter you...So glad we popped in! Wide choice of cakes and some savouries, including vegan and/or gluten free. Huge pot of tea! Pretty tea room, very well equipped single toilet. Family affair, mother and two daughters bake everything on site. Long chat with lovely Lisa, so enthusiastic about their business. We only tasted a quiche and blackberry cake, but goodness, so delicious, and if a hint of other produce from their fine hands, well worth a further visit or cake order. Apparently mum Julie runs craft classes upstairs too.. talented family. We wish you continued success and will hopefully see you next holiday.
