The best restaurants serving British food in Peterborough East of England

Missed lunch as a consequence of a disruptive court case so grabbed a ham and cheddar sandwich large packet of Walkers crisps plus a can of San Pellegrino aranciata. But because the Italian drunk was outside the meal deal I had an astonishing bill of £8.10. Not even a paper bag to carry them in. A silk purse might have been more appropriate at that price!

It's a nice pub & lots of outdoor space, with coffee options & a proper coffee machine, service is quick and theres plenty of seating Very dog friendly Unfortunately there are no high chairs available despite advertising as child friendly, said there's baby change but theres no changing table They also don't serve pimms or guinness which seems like a bit of a miss roast dinner was nice

Visited here a few times whilst going to the hospital close by . Food was nice and hot . Being as is a wednesday lunchtime it was quite but several people came. Polite staff think they have had a change of management over the past year . Pub is overall clean and tidy

Couldn't of enjoyed my stay anymore then I did. The hotel manager akhmed was such a lovely man who was more then helpful an enjoyable company. If the restaurant had been opened would of been perfect

Lovely pub with great food and good service

The food is good. However they have a card machine which is conveniently broken all the time. When you phone through and they lie about the card machine. I dont always have cash and I'm not walking to the post office to get money to then go get food. I will just use an app that also allows me to pay and get something delivered. Must loose alot of custom for something so basic.

Went to this cafe just before they closed as we didn’t know they shut at 2pm. I am a support worker working for a young man with autism and the staff were happy to serve a cup of tea and chocolate bar which was highly appreciated. Great friendly service, will definitely return.

Hotpot is a fantastic takeaway spot that never disappoints! The menu offers a great variety of dishes, but my favorite is definitely the Hotpot Mix. It's a perfect combination of flavors and ingredients, always fresh and well-prepared. The rich taste and generous portions make it a satisfying meal every time. Excellent service for six of us at lunch at a great venue, somewhere you're not squeezed in either nor subject to music or screens. Wide choice from both the main and lunch menus too, quality food at not unreasonable prices. Plenty of free parking, outside space for the better weather, and outdoor play facilities for youngsters.

We had lunch at the harvester at alwalton the service was excellent . The food was delicious and very tasty we will go there again. Geraldine who look after us.
