The best restaurants in Peterborough East of England

A friendly coffee stall on platform 3 at Peterborough Rail Station dispensing excellent coffee and a wide range of biscuits, flapjacks, &c. Telephoned me immediately upon discovering my pocket book which I had forgotten on the stall. Unhesitatingly recommend.

Fabulous range on the menu (almost too much choice!). We had a mix of pizzas & kebabs, which we ordered online. Really easy process, I could even say what time I wanted to collect the order & it was just being finished as I walked in. Great 2-for-1 offer on the pizzas - which were huge & delicious - & my husband struggled to eat all of his kebab. Great value for money. Friendly & efficient service. What's not to like? We were only visiting Crowland for a few days, wish we were more local as we'd definitely be using this place more often!

We were greeted on arrival with welcoming smiles from the hosts and a head butt in the nuts by the very friendly dog Hector. The new kitchen upgrade has made a world of difference. With the array of freshly packets of snacks presented beautifully. The host also included some fresh herbs, but was unsure what to do with them. I'm sure the selection of new cookbooks will help. The fantastic oven and hob looked immaculately clean like it had never been used. I think the intention maybe to reduce cleaning by keeping it unused. The hosts and guests all enjoyed themselves, the atmosphere was excellent. Will have a return visit soon

Awesome plant based dishes in this small market stall - run by a lovely lady who makes everything herself. Specials board changing daily with dishes ranging from lentil curries, wraps, brownies thro to vegan burgers and plant based “milk” shakes. The stream of regular customers is testament to the great vegan food at very good prices - highly recommend!

Amazing Kurdish food and beautiful Shisha bar out the back. Can bring your win alcohol if you wish but they don’t sell it themselves. We had the Hummous with Shwarma for starter and a mixed grill for main. The naan bread is the best I’ve ever had. The lemon and mint shiaha was perfect. Can’t wait to return.

really like these people and their traditional menu has a twist with a home made kind of feel o the good. great location with other locals there for breakfast and dessert menus. it is like subway but fresher..not sure I that makes sense. great selection of fresh shakes as well. very healthy and organic.

This is the best Chinese in Peterborough, since moving to Peterborough 5 years ago you always struggle to find restaurants and takeaways that you like but I have ordered from wok inn so many times, perhaps every month and when ever we have guests come over they always want a Chinese from here, one mistake I keep finding is I forget they are closed Wednesdays and have had to order elsewhere but wok inn is 5 star and more. Wish they was closer lol

Vicky runs a small stall at 119b in the food hall. It was indeed a little gem. We had a bowl of carrot and coriander soup with a freshly baked bun followed by a slice of home made cake and mug of tea. All extremely delicious and served to us by Vicky at a table, complete with embroidered tablecloth. Definitely a place to revisit.

Hot food and great coffee served with a smile from friendly happy staff. Very clean and bright service station. Coffee better value and tasting that other popular chains

Lovely family run cafe.. A hub of the local community! Happy to drive 10 miles to get there! Warm welcome, great service! Fit it in around a trip to the excellent Sue Ryder charity shop... :-)
