Cafe Delight in Peterborough

The food is good. However they have a card machine which is conveniently broken all the time. When you phone through and they lie about the card machine. I dont always have cash and I'm not walking to the post office to get money to then go get food. I will just use an app that also allows me to pay and get something delivered. Must loose alot of custom for something so basic.

Takeaway came to £10.95 refused to take card, I was told cash only, So i had to go somewhere else

Lovely Chinese take away. Friendly, helpful staff and tasty food. Will definitely be back next time I visit my family in the village.

Food always good. Payment can be painful, have a card machine but sometimes they say cash only, means you have to go and find somewhere to withdraw cash. Last time we were unable to withdraw cash locally, so they requested a bank transfer! That is a new one on me! Like the place, but the payment side is becoming a pain!

The food is good but the payment system is unreliable. They only cash only until they have enough to cover the staffs wages, then take card. That makes it really unreliable as we were passing and a bit of a guess but we were ordinary for 12 people. Made more sense to go home and order over just eat as the nearest cash machine is further away from home.

Ordered takeaway from here and it was horrible, i was drinking water all night as i was so thursty after. I collected my takeaway in the evening and saw a big rat run towards the side of the building next to the kitchen. I know this is difficult to control but not pleasent to see when you want to eat from there.

Stopped here to grab a Chinese before going to the dog park. We had crispy duck and it was very crispy in places. I love this item, but feel this one had been overcooked as couldn't eat some of it, which my dogs were happy about!

Put an up to date menu, only brought the pancake rolls so cannot comment on the other food items, but I would of happily paid more for a bit better quantity.. also the opening times have changed to 10pm close

Very decent Chinese. Salt and pepper chilli chips would be a great addition though.

Had ordered food I rang them to place an order and said to collect in 10/15 minutes which I thought was rather quick especially when the food should be cooked fresh not reheated as when we had started to eat, my boyfriend noticed his food was hard from the prawn balls and the prawn toast looked over burnt. Next day my stomach had pains and felt rough. We both felt very poorly after eating so I will not ever eat food from here !
