The best restaurants serving British food in North Norfolk East of England

Called in unexpectedly on our way to Thursford Show, was recommended by a local, had never been here before, would definitely go again!! everything was good, all freshly prepared and a very reasonably priced! We also thought we had left my husbands phone here, and they looked for it whilst I called them, it wasn’t there but again nothing was too much trouble. Thank you very much!!

Lovely venue to stop for lunch. Good menu for the kids and adults. Good food for decent prices, I would definitely recommend it.

Nice, welcoming place. Had a flapjack and coffee so didn't really sample the menu but both of these were good. A great place to get out of the elements too after a beach walk. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited recently for supper with friends. Honestly, this is our favourite restaurant anywhere, not just Sheringham. It’s super cute, warm welcome, really cosy feel, the food is amazing and the service is just perfect. We love love LOVE it here !

Very nice tea and cake. It's decked out in Dads Army style Britain at War which takes you right back. Well worth a visit. Also very nice gift shop

I must say so disappointing The only thing to enjoy was the view coffees all cold cake dry and tasteless Staff couldn't give a hoot Eden these things were mentioned

YOU MUST TRY THIS PUB. The food was really good, it is not high end but very good home cooked food, the pub is warm and welcoming and the staff great. We went with friends who live nearby and will certainly be going back.

Wonderful brunch with friends the day after the Wells Christmastide Event. Lovely atmosphere and great service

Extremely welcoming and professional, friendly staff who helped with baby needs and celebration extras we'd brought. Only place in Norfolk I've found that fries in beef dripping, if you want the taste of Yorkshire fish and chips, it's here.

Had a fabulous meal here today. Food was excellent and the service was 100%. The one little issue we had was dealt with professionally and extremely satisfactorily. Would highly recommend.

Came here in November for a meal The food was absolutely fantastic. Had a share platter (£97) The seafood all tasted so fresh and was cooked to perfection. The piece of seafood tart/quiche that came with it would have been nicer warm, we didn't eat it all, but the rest of the food was delicious. Will certainly return

A thoroughly enjoyable Sunday roast in a wonderful village location for myself and my wife. A very warm welcome was given and although they were very busy we were given thoughtful consideration throughout. We will be back!
