Birdys Bakehouse in North Norfolk

Wasn't having a good day. Visited Birdy's and my mood changed. Extremely friendly staff, Birdy herself and another lady. My doggies were offered snacks and made welcome. There was a water bowl for them. We sat outside and listened to the boats, seagulls and general background conversation. The tables and chairs were very clean and there was just something about the whole atmosphere. I felt more able to negotiate the hustle and bustle that is Blakeney. Thank you, both.

We ate some very tasty breakfast baps and drank some great coffee. Lovely to sit outside and look across the creek. Very friendly and welcoming.

We have used Birdy’s for years and it is always a perfect way to start our day. We are addicted to the yogurt, fruit and granola pots with the most delicious homemade granola. Always busy and the huge selection of food seems to appeal to everyone. Just been for our last breakfast before they close for the well deserved winter break!

Barking Dogs … This is a wonderful little cafe ..in a lovely location… the breakfast baps are packed with the best ingredients… the food the staff the location a 5/5 … But as usual a few dog owners eating here spoiled the ambiance… If I had been a load of kids shouting and misbehaving everyone would judge the parents … such a shame because it’s a lovely little place

I tried the Avo smash breakfast roll this morning; granary roll, smashed avocado, fried egg. and lightly smoked bacon, washed down with a decent cup of tea. Freshly made, absolutely delicious and the quality was outstanding. Will definitely be back to try more!

We always visit Birdy’s when we are in Blakeney. Everything we’ve had has been superb, particularly their breakfast baps and falafel salad. Generous portions and good value for money as it’s clear they use high quality ingredients.

The best fresh cooked, quality breakfast bap and large tasty Americano in Blakeney. Really friendly staff, if you want anything e.g. salad, just ask :)

Just so fresh and lovely Other half snd I wandering about blakeney called in here for lunch I had no expectations .. but wow I had the halloumi bowl special with pitta and hummus .. really simple but so hard to do well Amazingly fresh , balanced by someone who knows what they’re doing with flavours , eaten on the quay side with a wooden fork !! Totally delicious I’ve been to a lot of Michelin 2 stars lately and as a bit of a foodie , I’d say this was memorable whilst all those 2 star meals are not Husband had one of the nicest burgers he’s had in a long time .. these 2 ladies deserve success .. they were working hard on a hot day to produce food they’re clearly proud of Thankyou xx

A nice little spot to stop, I saw this food truck when we arrived at about 10am and when I saw the menu, I decided I wanted to have lunch here so spent the next two hours walking up and down the area killing time until I could order the Loaded Fries with Flat Iron steak. Not kidding, one of the best plates of food I've had in some time! Probably the best thing I ate all weekend (and we went to some posh places for dinner!) The steak, cooked to perfection, was poured, juices and all onto a pile of delicious chips, a big splodge of garlic mayo and some rocket finished it off. As I said to the lady who cooked it, it wasn't very good, it was f****** fantastic! It was, in fact, so good, I totally forgot to take a picture of it! :(

Absolutely the best bacon and egg baps. We loved them. Great bacon and very fresh bread. Cooked in front of you! We were full for hours! You must try the coffee! Such lovely people too! Please keep it going!!! Worth the trip from Southwold!
