Well, what a fantastic find I had booked here because of my husband working in huntingdon. Not only are the staff incredibly friendly, but the food is second to none fantastic quality with a very reasonable price. We stayed in room 11 with hot tub. Yes, I agree with a resonate review that it just needs a tide up, but this didn't affect our stay in any way. We are now staying on for lunch before heading home, and we have also booked the horse box to bring our grandkids to next weekend and can't wait thanks go to Lucy front house and Ross the brilliant chief see you all next week đ xx

Beautiful lodge in a peaceful surrounding. We stayed for a week in The Florence lodge. The lodge itself had everything you needed. The hot tub wasnât quite hot enough so messaged the Elton Furze team. Lisa messaged back straight away and came to have a look. She explained the temperature is always set at 38 degrees but turned it up 39 degrees. This was better but it did soon cool down. We did not let this impact our break at all. Visited lots of surrounding villages and towns and ventured into Peterborough. Would highly recommend staying at Elton Furze and would definitely come back.

Four of us went here last night with our 3 dogs and had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was perfect as was the music, service, etc. Paul (owner/barman) is a top man and couldn't do enough for us. They weren't serving food at the time but I've already booked for one of their Caribbean nights, can't wait. I highly recommend you try this place if in the area. Superb.

We have been eating from Platters since the doors opened many years ago, always fresh and tasty Sandwiches, Baguettes, Soups and Jacket Potatoes made to order not pre-packed. Never had a bad one and always good value for the quality you get. The Chicken Bushfire Baguette is my favourite and is out of this world! Just the best. Even if you just nip in for a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake you will not be disappointed!

Another perfect Sunday lunch enjoyed with friends. The staff were very attentive and the food delicious, no complaints from anyone in our group of six. Being intolerant to several ingredients I had no problem with choosing a meal from the special gluten free menu thatâs always available. The menu had a good range of âfree fromâ meals and the manager was able to give me additional information on the meal ensuring that there wasnât anything that would cause me problems. We travel from Norfolk to meet friends from Buckinghamshire for Sunday lunches several times a year for at least eight years and are greeted by the staff as long lost friends. We will be back in the new year.

Good service ,polite friendly excellent choice of food well cooked and presented. Not the cheapest place around but you certainly get what rou pay for. Like the fact that many of the dishes come with three types of fresh vegetables and there's is plenty of i. The mash is excellent especially with the added spring onion ( you get a choice with the mash. Had the home made shepherds pie today excellent . Will return again soon.

Called in to have a coffee and hot panini did have a dog no mention of not allowed in the shop until coffee brought over and told to leave!!! staff had seen me with daughter and dog at ordering and again when coffee brought to table then ?manager came over was rude and said we had to go daughter stood out in the rain with dog and manager person took the coffee away to put in takeaway cups Staff disorganised and queuing out of the door as so slow Too many staff and not working together leading to slow service poor granny in a mobility scooter left out in the rain as couldnât get in to be served Worst coffee I have ever been served totally undrinkable Signage needs to be displayed to make owners aware that dogs are not welcomed and staff need some training about how to be respectful and courteous to customers as the manager was downright rude to us which is totally unacceptable Not a nice experience at all

In arrival to the Hartford mill, me and my partner got a carvery and was greeted by a loverly lady named Tracy, Tracy was very warm hearted and perlite. After we had finished Tracy then approached again and asked if everything was okay and if we wanted anything else, made me feel like I was at my pedants house very loverly

Ate there a couple days ago. Food was edible, nothing out of this world, atmosphere was OK, also, nothing eye-catching or particularly interesting Quite expensive. I was served by a lovely American redhead girl. So that is why I gave a five star review for service, she was absolutely wonderful.
