Elton Furze Golf Clubhouse in Huntingdonshire

Beautiful lodge in a peaceful surrounding.We stayed for a week in The Florence lodge.The lodge itself had everything you needed. The hot tub wasn’t quite hot enough so messaged the Elton Furze team. Lisa messaged back straight away and came to have a look. She explained the temperature is always set at 38 degrees but turned it up 39 degrees. This was better but it did soon cool down. We did not let this impact our break at all. Visited lots of surrounding villages and towns and ventured into Peterborough. Would highly recommend staying at Elton Furze and would definitely come back.

My partner and I stayed in one of the cabins for 3 nights, and it was just the most beautiful setting ever!

Wow this has been one of the best Lodges I have ever stayed in staff were so polite and helpful. The accommodation was beautiful they definitely go above and beyond, providing hand soap, dish soap and so much more. Would definitely Recommend this to friends and family and I’ll be staying here again.

We had our wedding reception at Elton Furze and the whole experience from the moment we booked our date to the actual day of our wedding was incredible! Fee was amazing and couldn't have been more helpful in answering all our questions and helping us to get plans in place for our big day - everything went so smoothly and the food served for our meal and evening buffet was just insane! We stayed at one of the lodges 'Foxy' for a few days before and after the wedding and it was 5 star - everything you could possibly need and the perfect setting for us newlyweds. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Fee and the team and they certainly helped to take away a lot of the stress associated with planning your wedding! We had a horse and carriage to take me from Elton Furze to the church and Fee was so accommodating to make this dream happen. Highly recommend if anyone is considering holding their wedding reception here, it really was an amazing experience! :)

Wonderful from start to finish. 4 nights felt like 7 as it was so nice. Owners and staff - we salute you! Thank you for a brilliant break. I echo the other excellent reviews but am going to add a few things that may help you if you're booked or book... There's a big freezer (it's a lovely, integrated fridge freezer). Perfect for taking things with you or stocking up at Waitrose, Oundle - which is nearby. We go to sleep early but made ourselves wait for it to be dark to enjoy the twinkly lights near the hot tub - just fab. After we checked out on Friday we visited Stamford. We've been before and always love it. It's a must if you like beautiful buildings, cafes, shops etc. There's a park by the river for a picnic (Hambleton's Bakery does lovely bread, cakes and nibbles to take away . It won ITV's Best Bakery and is worth finding.) The Friday market was bustling. Burleigh House is also great, we just walk up and enjoy looking at it from outside but you can pay to go into the stunning gardens. There's a beautiful cafe garden there too, it was closed for a private function but we've been before and loved it. Oundle is pretty for a morning out. We also had a walk around Elton and got an ice cream from the friendly village shop. The village was idyllic. The lodge oozed luxury - everything was spot on and we'll definitely be back. You certainly get what you pay for here (thanks so much for the welcome treats Fi, Lisa et al). If you're going you're in for a treat.

Outstanding golf and staff and course!. I made a call to book and it was very busy . I requested an early tee time and the member of staff fitted me in . The condition of the fairways greens in general faultless. I highly rank this and with return. Some tricky holes but good for your game.

Had a brilliant stay at Furze lodge, a very warm welcome from Fi (the owner) and other reception staff...the lodge is in the trees, very calming and so quiet. Lovely new lodge with all mod cons, a fabulous bathroom, and a hot tub bliss. I can't find fault with anything, wonderful stay, had some nice goodies left in fridge for me. On leaving was asked by owner if everything was good, such nice friendly people, made time to talk to me even though busy with a golf competion. Would highly recommend this accomodation and will be returning shortly!! Had a fab meal at the Stilton Bell (not far by car).

Warm welcome for our society. Good good at a decent price in the clubhouse. Really interesting course to play. Some challenging holes and straight driving is required. Course is in good condition although the greens were slow. Well worth a visit.

Having played the club in poor weather and still had a good round I'm looking forward to returning soon to play in *hopefully* better weather. The course offers a range of holes that will challenge most golfers. The facilities are good although the driving range was a little tired looking, that said, it still did the job of letting us loosen up before our round.

EFGC put on a great Christmas party for my group of 70 last weekend. Everything was perfect...the venue, the food, the service and the DJ were all top drawer. All 70 guests had a great time, dancing the night away until after midnight. Great thanks to Fee, Lisa, Jim and the rest of the staff who made this a superb night for us! This is a beautiful venue for any type of the function and the staff are totally accommodating. We'll be back!

This is a brilliant venue for a party. Great service, great food, discotheque. Reasonably priced. Very friendly staff.

A group of 20 of us had an away day from our golf course at Elton Furze. Booked 5 tees the week before had to contact the club secretary for booking but wasn't a problem thanks Fee. Arrived and everybody was very friendly we teed off at 10-00 onwards pro shop provided nearest the pin and longest drive markers. Glorious Autumn day all aspects of the course were in superb condition. Retired to the bar to find winners. All thoroughly enjoyed the day and will be making a return visit next year without doubt.

There were 45 of us for a full three course meal and everything was tasty and fresh. Home made soup, roast beef and full works and lemon tart etc. Have been before and will go again.

We played golf her and wanted to eat before we played. The staff really welcoming and friendly. The food is great value for money and a match for many pubs and resturants. Looking forward to a further visit.

Celebré mi fiesta de cumpleaños en 50 Elton Furze y desde el principio hasta el final, todo fue perfecto. Los propietarios son amables, accesibles y todo el personal está bien informado, trabajador, amable y servicial. La comida era excelente. Es un lugar encantador con un agradable espacio exterior, lo cual es bueno para una fiesta de verano.

Decidimos tener el campo en el asador tres club. Fue encantador. El servicio era a la T y sus alrededores tan encantador. Nunca había estado en el club antes de duda en algún lugar volvería otra vez. Conseguimos un poco perdidos al club pero fueron muy serviciales cuando llamé para más indicaciones. La comida era razonable para la calidad y el asador era precioso.

My sister used this venue for her wedding reception. It was a lovely venue with friendly staff and a good range of drinks at the bar.

What a lovely place to eat. Great homemade food and Sunday lunch car very was great. The golf course is great also. So combine golf and food and you have a perfect combination

Excellent homemade cooking in a relaxed setting, perfect for a long Sunday lunch with the family. Recommended to people of all ages.

I have visited this club numerous times over the last 15 years and have always had a good meal. The staff are welcoming and efficient, even, unusually for many golf clubs, the man in the Pro shop.

El asador de cena con asado fue fantástico, la carne estaba perfectamente preparado, una buena selección de sabrosas hortalizas y muy caliente. El personal es muy agradable y muy servicial.

Celebré mis Captains golf del día en Elton Furze esta semana y fue genial. De la organización, hasta el día en sí, nada era un problema. El campo es una delicia para jugar. El personal del bar y las camareras eran excelentes. La comida después fue - felicitaciones magnífico al chef. Sin duda volveremos allí y también se lo recomendaría a cualquiera.

Celebramos nuestra boda en EFGC y superó nuestras expectativas. Desde el momento en que se veía todo el año sabíamos que era el lugar para nosotros debido a la amabilidad del personal y entorno tranquilo. Tuvimos algunos contratiempos personales por lo que tuvimos que cambiar nuestra reserva y tarifa fue fantástico en hacerlo. El día de la boda fue mágica y Katie, tarifa y el equipo eran parte de hacer que esto suceda. Ellos nos cuidaron y nuestros huéspedes, y nada era demasiado problema. Llovió lo que significa que la mayoría de nuestras fotos estaban allí en vez de en la Iglesia y el equipo nuestro fotógrafo permiten la libertad para mover las cosas durante todo el año para obtener los mejores posibles disparos. La comida era deliciosa y hemos tenido muchos comentarios positivos acerca de nuestros clientes. Mientras que no prevén que necesiten para otra boda ( ! ), sin duda alguna utilizarlo para otras celebraciones especiales. Recomendamos encarecidamente este lugar a parejas, el paquete de bodas es muy bien de precio y las cosas que están incluidas significa que se puede llenar varias cosas fuera de su lista de planificación de una vez! We went to a celebration of my sales managers wedding.It was a company gathering.The food was fantastic.It was a buffet.The venue is excellent.Great place for anything to have a party or get together.And a beautiful setting.So ideal for a wedding

this golf clubhouse is the prefect place for weddings & parties alike, the buffet style food is great.

It was ok for a gathering but not the best bar restaurant setup. Has a lot more potential.
