An oasis of calm near the town centre, and has lasted longer than Bircherly Green shopping centre did. Now with added Kevolution and garden stage. The new chef is very good and the Sunday roast is most satisfactory

Outstanding quality Sunday Roast in friendly environment. From the start the staff made us feel welcome , the setting was comfortable and inviting. What made the experience memorable was the quality of everything that was on offer- the house wine was excellent, the rolled pork belly was the best I’ve had in years, I couldn’t fault the roast potatoes or veg. The home made bread and olives/olive oil/Balsamic vinegar beforehand were all extremely good. The team worked hard and had everything under control - well done guys. A great Sunday experience!

We were greeted by lovely staff and ordered some outstanding dishes. The Christmas decorations were cosy and the music was calming. I hope to visit again.

Stunning food, best desert menu ever! Service was top class. Fairly quiet, so atmosphere low key, but nice to be able to chat with friends. Would recommend 100%.

Excellent service, ambiance and food.

Firstly I’ve had some amazing meals at this pub and I’m not sure what has happened . We booked in for Christmas menu this year on the basis of the amazing food and atmosphere of last year. This year well what’s happened?! the food seemed reheated, it was Luke warm at best, half a plate of sloppy red cabbage. the dessert tart base was pale and the lemon curd rubberised and when I mention an issue with dessert the staff are so painfully new/inexperienced they didn’t seem to know what to do. The staff didn’t ask if we were ok, could they get more drinks, no end if meal tea or coffee just felt all very odd and awkward.

avoid the lazy Sundays. cold too much Yorkshire. onion bits greasy upside service and atmosphere. should have had a burger.

Lovely little friendly pub, nice food and ale.

Fabulous hotel and restaurant. But lots of problems with the food. Had to preorder because of numbers. Sent the wrong menu! Didn't do some of the dishes! Prices were different! Broccoli was literally raw. Not one of us could cut it! The sea bass ended up as being hake. Chicken supreme breast was thighs. Vegetables overall left a lot to be desired. Won't be going back. Sorry.

What a hidden gem! Great wait staff, beautiful views and location. Food was delicious.
