Thank you to the team for your brilliant service on Halloween. We had a lovely three course meal, the service was excellent as was the food! We cannot wait to return for breakfast with Santa :)

Great pub, Katie served me. Had 4 Guinness split 4 G’s The bar area wasn’t too crowded, there good music and a nice atmosphere Highly recommended

The waiteress i believed named issy, was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Food overall was very nice and was quick service. Would 100% recommend This pub is also dog friendly so a nice place to come for a morning stroll and drink with the dog

Lovely business lunch yesterday. Their new menu is brilliant and has a lot of new options that made us spoilt for choice! I opted for their special Octopus, followed by another special of Lemon Sole and both were delicious. My colleagues shared the Chateaubriand sharing steak that the waiter recommended and they said it was cooked perfectly. Service from the staff was brilliant, as it always is. Will be back soon!

Busy place, car park almost full. Fortunately, we booked a table. The Service was great and it felt like they were working as a team . We didn’t have to wait long before our food arrived and it was scrumptious indeed. Tender roast chicken and all the trimmings, with Yorkshire pudding and bottomless gravy. Not much room left for dessert, so they provide a mini portion with a coffee. I certainly enjoyed myself as did my companions and we will be back.

A busy pub, but a nice atmosphere. Brilliant food, good service. The only little niggle was that every time any people came through the main door there was a cold draft at our table.

Very handy pub if you're taking a walk on the Cole Green Way. Stopped here for a quick refreshing beer and Guinness on Sunday evening. Was very busy with lots of families having Sunday roasts etc. And even a birthday party in full swim. But we found a cosy corner for a quick drink. Will be back to try the food at a later date. Used to come here decades ago when the kids were little, but it seems to have undergone a revamp for the better since those days!

I have been coming here a few times a year for more decades than I care to remember and have yet to be disappointed. Monday lunchtime was no exception. The service was great, thank you Trudi, and the food exceptional (I had the king prawn, crab & chorizo linguini). Love the option of a mini dessert and hot drink too after a substantial main.

Had a great night tonight served by Max and josh! Will be back again soon!

Nice country pub atmosphere, good starters but we had to return a battered fish to the kitchen because it was slightly off, and service was a bit erratic - one waitress was excellent the other didn't listen to us and brought us the bill instead of coffees.

We visited on Friday evening. It was our first time visiting from recommendations through friends. The menu choice was great and Sharon our lovely waitress was very helpful to recommend the king prawn linguine. It was delicious and the seafood was fresh. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at The Cowper Arms. This was my first time visiting and it did not disappoint at all. Our Waitress, Jasmine was friendly, welcoming and offered amazing service for our Sunday visit. I had the roast trio and every bit of it was so yummy. I will definetly be coming back for more Sunday roasts, and even may visit in the week to try more food.

Lovely place to go for a meal. Food delicious but the service was poor! Had to grab attention of servers every time. Once you had them they were lovely & helpful but lads please stop chatting & watch what’s going on!!

I have been to this pub many times and normally can never fault it, However today 01/09/24 my husband and I went for dinner, I ordered the chicken burger and it was like rubber, to the point I couldn’t eat it, could barely cut it or bite into it. The chicken was also a browny colour inside, not a nice texture or taste at all there was no staff to tell and normally they ask how the food is but nobody checked in with us. After about 20 minutes of waiting for someone we eventually spotted staff and asked for bill, we told her about the chicken as she could see I hadn’t eaten it. She did apologise but didn’t seem to care, so we got the bill and left promptly as I could feel that something wasn’t quite right and I have since spent my evening in the toilet with an upset stomach and vomiting.

I came a couple of weeks ago for lunch and it was lovely. Came again yesterday and the food was very disappointing. We both had the tempura prawn sandwich. Wasn't sure whether the bread was meant to be toasted - it had no colour but was dry. The filling was rather mean and very bland. No Yuzu flavour in the small amount of mayo and no crab at all as far as we could tell. Definitely not worth £13.75. The chips were nice and its pleasant to eat outdoors in the garden.

Lovely Thursday meal. The place was absolutely packed out at lunch time but staff were friendly and kept us updated throughout the meal. Food was absolutely delicious, we went for the lamb & pork belly and both were melt in the mouth. They offer a lunch set menu which has some great options on to. On all of our visits the staff have been excellent and never been disappointed with the food.

I've never eaten anywhere so accommodating and helpful. The staff couldn't be better. The Food was perfectly cooked, and they knew the ingredients and what I could have despite my very specific intolerance.

Good selection of drinks. Absolutely incredible food for our whole group. Nobody could fault anything! Fantastic experience!

Sofr drinks were expensive and not great quality .

Wonderful pub and staff!! My mother loved the fish and chips. Our waiter max was able to swap the mushy peas to garden peas and was very helpful. Definitely recommend to go.

The Cowper Arms was a lovely venue, the staff were accommodating and friendly, the menu had enough variety and the food was excellent and the portions were great. At £100 for 3 people (and two of us had 3 courses and beer), we felt that the lunch was value for money.

Had the Wine and Dine menu which is extremely good value for money. The food selection was brilliant; thoroughly enjoyed the Scallops and the ribeye followed by cheese and biscuits. All the staff were so lovely, especially our waitress Trudi who catered to our every need. Will be coming back for sure. Such a lovely pub !!

Lovely pub with great food and helpful, friendly staff. We had a very pleasant meal taking advantage of the 2 course lunch menu. The gammon was delicious with fresh pineapple and perfectly cooked eggs.

Ordered a salad for dinner but unfortunately it wasn’t very fresh at all and the leaves were very soggy and not appetising!! The prawns were good but was the only plus side for me. Nice garden and snacks for the starters as well.

The Cowper Arms in Letty Green is my favourite local gastro pub in the area. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly. Also, If you’re looking for a cracking Sunday roast then it’s by far the best one in the local area!

Had a birthday offer and decided to go for a late lunch. The food was very good. I had the fillet Steak, a bit pricey but delicious. All 3 course's were excellent and our server Talli was exceptionally good, so informative and helpful. Highly recommended and looking forward to going back for my birthday in July.

Lovely sunny garden with friendly people

Attended yesterday (Fathers Day) quite late in the evening but was absolutely amazed at the experience my family and I had at this pub. Our lovely waitress Ellie went above and beyond for us whilst we were dining and made it so much more enjoyable!! The food was spectacular, great value for money and was a comfortable environment. We could not recommend this place enough. Will definitely be returning soon.

Service can be a little slow in here sometimes but has always been 5 stars for me! Great food and quality of service is excellent, making you feel welcome with smiles all the time too! Had my graduation a few months ago and everything was spot on, and with a great atmosphere! Cosy little place for the winter and perfect for the summer!

Probably one of the best cheeseburger I ever eat. It’s not easy to fiind a good looking burger and to be good in the same time.The size was more than enough.I take it to eat outside where they have a big car park probably 30-45 car can park in there and 14 tables.If it is a sunny day will be twice as lucky .Inside this restaurant is good atmosphere and lovely dining area.Take a look at the pictures and video.Bon appetite!🥰

Had a Sunday roast delivery. Was pretty impressed by the portion size, was ample. The beef was tender and the cauliflower cheese was smashing, best one so far. I would have liked the roast potatoes to have been a bit bigger and maybe a choice of beef dripping potatoes to compliment the beef ( I am quite picky with roast potatoes). All in all though, a good roast delivered so no doubt just as in good in the pub.

This is the first time that we have visited the Cowper Arms but we will definitely be returning in the future. The food was lovely and so was the staff. We all left with full tummies and happy smiles.

We went for a family birthday meal. We waited ages at the bar for someone to appear and seat us. When we finally did get seated our server just seemed rude and unbothered. Again there was a long wait for our order to be taken. I must say I really enjoyed my food but my dad was so disappointed with his he requested to have it taken off the bill, which they did oblige. I have been here several times and it's the food that keeps me coming back, not the service.

We had nice fish and chips, helpful staff, and plenty of parking. Apple crumble with custard, yum yum!

My lunch at the Cowper Arms was a reunion with a former business colleague. We had a comfortable table by a window and the staff were attentive. We were both happy with our food- my guest more than I- and felt we had had good value for money

Came with my friends for a meal on Tuesday night and was served by Josh! He was very professional and gave us a quick and efficient service!

We had a great lunch, we asked to be tucked away so our dog could sleep without getting in everyone's way and this was accommodated. We will be back ASAP.

Staff very pleasant, we ordered a spinach cheese and mushroom pizza for starters between 3 of us, it was delicious so fresh and tasty perfect. We had a few beers wines and waters between 3 of us. We bartered the cod and chips in batter steak pie and ribeye steak. Ribeye steak was beautiful in flavour but a little too fatty. Steak pie was lovely but slightly over cooked on top crust fish and chips lovely and all were nice size portions. Chocolate bomb for pudding wasn’t the best best wasn’t horrible and trio of desserts lovely. The meals took ages over an hour and we had to ask staff what’s happened with the dinners. They came back and said for some reason the dinner orders didn’t go through. Then the food came within the next 10 mins so felt maybe it was rushed a little causing the pie to be overcooked. We were given one round of drinks free from our bill and 20% off the whole bill as a good will gesture. I love the pub it’s very clean cosy and a nice choice of food on the menu.

Had the best time, amazing service. The barman Jamie had the best cocktails and amazing customer service. Will definitely recommend to all to friends.

One of the best roasts has in a long time little wait for food but worth it and also has a cheese board top marks from us!

It was a bit quiet when we went but apart from that everything was great. Will return.

Wonderful food and atmosphere- but it took so long for us to get served which wasn’t great but wasn’t a deal breaker. We were there for maybe 2 1/2 hours. And we managed one drink and a main, we would have had dessert and another drink but we’d been there for a while and had had enough. Only thing I hated was the fire was not managed properly made our clothes absolutely stink of smoke!! It only happens to open fires when not managed and allowed to go out. However I would 100% go back because this is just what happens sometimes. I would have not cared about the wait had it not been for the fire. Oh and LOVED being able to have Moët and Chandon as a glass! Would go back just for that.

This is our second visit to The Cowpers Arms. We came over Christmas where the fire was warm and Santa was handing out presents to the kids. It was such a good morning brunch we decided to come again for Mothers Day Brunch once again was delicious, fresh eggs, local bacon and sausages- generous vegetarian portion and kids enjoyed brioche, thick yoghurt and berries. The fire was cracking in the corner, the staff were friendly and service was good. Can’t wait to come back

We had our work Christmas party here and it was great. They did a buffet of food that was good, the bar service was quick (their was lot of us), we had half the pub to ourselves (while restaurant side stayed open) with a DJ and dance for. It was a very good night and the staff were welcoming. Overall very good.
