Great DJ on Saturday night. We had a lot of fun

We visited the White Hart pub because my husband fancied a burger. He had The Grande burger and I had the cod goujon wrap, both of which were really good. We also had the 2 for £14 cocktails (sex on the beach and espresso martini), decent sized drinks and well mixed. The decor is quite modern and eclectic, the pub in general was quiet (it was Wednesday around 5-6pm), and the staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely, warm and inviting local town centre pub. Stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the vegan options. Friendly and helpful staff. We sat near the fireplace and on a cold and wet rainy day, it was most welcome. Will be back for sure. 👍🏽

Visited the weekend just gone, really lovely pub with a cool outside area. Great decor, nice staff & good choice of drinks & food Had a pizza too while we was there and that was so nice, will be returning.

Good service, good atmosphere, I understand it’s a pub but I’ve honestly never had chicken wings as bad as I have here.

Used the slot machine - Cashed out and didn’t receive the money last weekend. Was told I would get a call in the week to collect the money but have not received a call :( Drinks and food very nice tho!

An amazing pub that hold awesome events the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The food is amazing especially the burgers and the pizzas are fresh and tasty. I would recommend this to keep an eye out on for events they do.

Beautiful place with a good set amout of staff and was served fast.

Such a great pub with amazing staff.. The decor is really nice too.. They have a lovely beer garden & hold events on certain weekends. A must visit if in the area.

Out for a walk with our dog we popped into the White Hart at the last minute for lunch. Good was amazing and really reasonably priced, but what makes it great is the really lovely staff. Polite, friendly, nothing was too much trouble, really loved the atmosphere.

Love this pub, my go to after work, they have an amazing selection of beer and not to mention all their non-alcoholic options, including non-alcoholic gin,rum,vodka and cocktails! . The staff are a lovely and funny group of people.

First time I’ve ever visited and definitely won’t be the last! Amazing staff and atmosphere , couldn’t imagine going anywhere else now.

10/10 pub, good atmosphere throughout the week but especially on the weekends when they normally throw events, and food is good

Visited the White Hart after work with my colleagues for a drink. Service was fast and there was a nice atmosphere. Would come back after work again.

Came here with my family and were pleasantly surprised. Drinks were of a good standard and had a lot on offer on the menu. Everyone had something they liked. Good, friendly service. Would return.

Been here for lunch with my friends multiple times, amazing service every time! Food arrives quickly and to a good standard. Brilliant staff including a lovely girl named Ella, who couldn’t do enough for myself and my friends! Highly recommend

Lovely pub especially early evening sitting out the front. Also like the large TV in the courtyard showing the big events. All the staff are friendly and always service with a smile. Big shout out to Libby there

Love this pub! The bar staff are all exceptionally welcoming, especially Kirstin and Libby, you can tell that they all get on so well which makes it such a lovely place to come for food & drinks!

Pub is great. But so many Essex wannabees. Some real sights to behold! More trout than the fishmongers.

Great town centre pub but what buffoon of a manager decided that peanuts have to be ordered from the kitchen from a huge bucket served in a fancy tray….you are not a gasto pub and no one trusts the quality Serve KP packet nuts like everyone else,

One of if not THE best pubs in hertford. Special mention to some awesome staff that are always a pleasure to see, Katie and Maddie. Great food and events too.

I went on Saturday with my group of friends, my mixed race friend was singled out to remove his hoodie and cap while every white person including my friends were told they didn’t have to remove their clothes. Do not go!

Couldn't give a 0 star review so begrudgingly left a 1 star review. Unfortuantely this isnt a joke; ***DO NOT go here for a drink/meal unless your skin is white*** Otherwise you'll be subject to cavemen posing as bouncers with medieval attitudes towards anyone who doesn't look 'British'. You've been warned.

Really nice changes to the garden and outside bar following refurbishment. Additional toilets are a great addition.

Made the mistake of going on a Friday night. Walked in and straight back out again. The place was completely overcrowded, bar was at least 10 deep and it was full of underage drinkers. Haven't been during the day but if the night was anything to go by then I wouldn't bother.

My wife and I visited this establishment for a glass of mulled wine,and was presented with a bill of £11.80 …OMG for 2 glasses of SOUR mulled wine….I know pubs are having a tough time atm, but I know when I’m having my pants pulled down,I will NEVER visit this place again because I hate being ROBBED,and drinking mulled wine from half pint tankards

Good staff always attentative and welcoming has a TV not too loud and you can sit and relax inside or outside in a town square many businesses

Went last night, bought a round, put my pint down went to the toilet , came back and 3/4 pint was cleared by bar staff, when I complained they said I shouldn't have left it. So basically you have to take your drink to the toilet with you! Got a half in replacement, won't be rushing back.

We recently travelled to Hertford for a family walk. We wanted to stop somewhere for a drinnk and some snacks. Down the side of White Hart there is a self contained beer garden. The walls are brightly painted, there's plenty of seating. We ordered from the app on the table. Quick, friendly service, food was great (just a variety of starters). The waiter noticed we had a dog with us and brought over a water bowl - he did this without being asked and was very helpful and friendly.

Overall good food and nice helpful staff. Located in the centre of Hertford and you can eat in or outside. We had fish and chips and a salad, both were quite good. Would go back again.

Do not order nuts here, they charge you 3.50 for mixed nuts, extortionate! Con merchants!

Visited with our 2 dogs, very friendly and welcoming staff, brought a bowl of water out immediately without even being asked. The food was very good and well presented. I would certainly recommend it and shall definitely visit again when we are in Hartford. A lovely atmosphere.

Enjoyed lunch here today. Lovely wine and food. Good atmosphere on a chilly day. But most of all must commend staff member Jack. Pleasant, welcoming and loads of good information on his great little town. What an asset he is to McMullans.

My favourite pub to go to! It’s our local for me and my friends and I’ve never had a bad experience there. The staff are all so welcoming and accommodating and will always do their best to get you a table even last minute. The new 2 for £12 cocktail menu has been going down a right treat over the last month and with a great undercover courtyard it doesn’t matter if it rains. The food is lovely, especially the homemade pizzas and loaded fries (personal favourites!). I always know I’ll have a nice time here.

Went here yesterday & the food was incredible!! Cant recommend the pizzas enough! :) Rhian is a hero, her service was brilliant and she realy helped us out with the app. Wil be back in on Friday for another cheeky Katsu & guinness combo.

Can’t believe the reception we have just received. Popped in for a drink as it was empty. Politely asked staff for a table she was lovely until the “manager” came out. I can’t believe mcmullens would employ such an unprofessional and unwelcoming manager. Won’t be returning!

Incredibly rude staff who actively allowed other people at the pub to break covid guidelines by sitting at our table then refused to rectify this. Felt very unsafe and absolutely would never return and vehemently encourage others to avoid this place!

Rhian is a AMAZING!!!! She looked after us when none of us could get the App to work, as well as getting us a table when we popped back a couple of hours later despite not booking. Food was tasty! Drinks arrived quickly. All the team were great throughout both our visits. True stars!!!!

So, they offer table service only, which I totally agree with under the current circumstances, except when you sit at your table, no-one bothers to come and serve you....we just got up and left...

Booked a table for six at 8 pm Saturday night as we knew it would be busy.When we arrived we were shown to our table (sic) -A barrel with six stools and a pillar in the middle."Would we like the menu?"-We could barely fit our drinks on barrel let alone food."Sorry all tables have been booked" Yes we know thats why we booked!!!! This is just cramming people in for the £££'s.Try to support local business but this makes you wonder why we bother-disgusting way to treat customers that take the time to book.
