We ordered a saveloy and chips and a chicken kebab and chips, all fresh and really yummy and hot. Customer service was good and the portion was great. Only thing I would add to make it 5* is if the person cooking wearing a hat/hair/beard net as I was a bit concerned I would find a beard hair in my food(I didn't!)

It Tony's. Lovely, friendly, passionate chap with a good team of helpers. Post parkrun it's vibrant with Lovely park runners. Lots of seating in and out. Lovely on a sunny day. Tea is good, and have a choice of small or big, which I like. There is a good choice of breakfast's or can have cake instead! Lots of folk were ordering the bacon butties, I went for the sausage butty which was dissapointing because of the low grade sausage made it tasteless. At £4.70 for a large tea and butty I'd happily pay more for better quality. Toilets are available inside, and dogs are welcome. It's a fab location and everyone is really friendly. I'll be back at some point for a tea or coffee. Unless the quality of the sausages improves I'll pick something else, maybe.

🤩Absolutely the best party you could wish for. 🤩 Simon is brilliant from start to finish. There are so many thoughtful touches to the party. There are screens with their photo and name on that later change to a photo of them with all their friends. The games and dances are all brilliant and get everyone involved. The meal is just such good fun and all part of the party atmosphere with fun sauce drawn pictures and special “wish bubbles” after dessert. Simon not only made my daughter feel like a star on her birthday but he included my little boy too in such a lovely way. It made our day. Simon you are amazing at what you do. The kids loved it and the adults had a blast too! Thanks for your energy and the best party we’ve ever been to! Special thanks also to Lyn who was so helpful and lovely when we booked. Well done to you both xx

I ordered the brie wedges and a 6oz burger. They both came out piping hot and hastily without delay. They both were gorgeous and gooey. Having found the establishment in a local theatre programme, it was a gem that we could have missed!! Staff are super friendly and eager to serve you.

Closed. 😭 A cosy cafe with friendly and attentive staff. Indoor and outdoor seating in a quiet courtyard conveniently located just off the high street. Nice breakfast and lunch menus available; and of course a good selection of cakes and deserts. Well behaved dogs are allowed inside and outside; water and complimentary treats offered. Parking just a couple of minutes walk away; toilet / baby-changing facilities on-site (ask staff for key). Card payments accepted. Highly recommended.

We ate at The Castle Inn with my daughter who is coeliac. We always check in advance that places understand that cross contamination is the danger - cooking in a kitchen where there has been gluten on a surface or in a shared container. For coeliacs for example, you cannot cook chips in fat that has had any glutened batter in it. You have to have fresh fat in a cleaned fryer. We have discovered that many high end restaurants like The Ivy don't manage to offer this so it was so heartening that The Castle was meticulous about her needs. When the menu didn't offer an option she could pick, they found something different, making her cheesy mashed potato from scratch. It was delicious and we are so grateful for their kindness. We shall definitely eat here again when we're in the area.
