Being fully gluten free in here, there was nothing on the menu I couldn't eat. The pizza, garlic bread, panini and cooked breakfast we had were all really tasty. And the cheesecake for pudding was too die for! We will definitely be back here again, a really lovely atmosphere with friendly staff.
Our favourite breakfast spot in Chesterfield. The menu is always full of interesting flavour combinations! Bacon . Brie and mango panini is delicious. The staff got to know us really quickly and we always get a warm welcome there.
I came across this just by chance when looking for our Saturday night takeaway treat I love seafood so thought I would give it a choice I had a platter for myself £19.99 plus some beaded crab claws the crab claws were delicious and the platter had loads of choice and plenty of seafood loads of dips well stuffed and well pleased they even apologised for being 6 minutes late no problems give it a try
Went for some dinner with 3 grandkids (from 7 to 1 years old), Louis the chef went above and beyond to cater to all of us. The food was glorious and the kids and adult all really enjoyed the food.
Delightful tearoom stumbled upon when driving through this village. Very kind owner delicious food. Would recommend you stop buy! If you’re a visiting American you’re gonna love this quaint spot!! A little light music would be nice.
Soy un huésped muy regular aquí en el parque plaza Faridabad. Me siento como mi segunda casa. Me gusta aquí la comida y los servicios todo el personal es tan bueno y tan amable aquí, especialmente gracias al Sr. Hemant y dayanand
Fabulous place that I saw on Facebook and decided to try. We went on the Greek night and Cary and her staff/helpers catered for us specifically as we are Pescatarians and vegan. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere relaxed and chatty , will definitely go to another bistro night
The company has started supplying buffets to the firm i work for and they have a bigger variety than most caterers, including baguets and wraps. Service with smile too. must pop in the shop soon
Friendly and welcoming staff from the outset. There were 7 of us in total and we all chose our own toppings for our handmade bars. There were also lots of chocolatey nibbles to eat as we crafted. We learnt how to make filled chocolates with decorative transfers and rolled truffles too! Everything was explained and demonstrated clearly and we enjoyed delicious hot drinks too. I would highly recommend this experience.
There is one girl who has browny blond hair very kind and dose my food top-notch
every time but the other boys just seem to mess about and when she asked for help they are just sat down pissing about and I feel sorry for her Cos she is doing everything on her own all time but she is amazing
What a little gem this is tea room / coffee is, tucked out of sight at the back of a garden shop / gift / vintage / bric-a-brac/ games/ curio store, down a little laneway off Church Street in Ripley. It’s a bit off the trodden paths of Ripley, but deserves seeking out and spending a few moments here over a decent hot brew and a delectable cake.
The cafe has that vintage, shabby chic, stylish junk shop feel, with its mismatched furnishings and different seating areas (table and chairs, and sofas), surrounded by odd bits of clutter and gifts for sale. It works, and looks homely and welcoming, with the feel of an old country cottage.
But it pulls a punch, at extremely reasonable prices. The hot chocolate and mocha we enjoyed were excellent, and were much better than our experience at a Starbucks outlet earlier in the day! I’m not sure if coffee is barista style, though there was a good selection of the usual latte, cappuccino and Americano varieties available, as well as pots of filter coffee and speciality teas. And what an amazing array of cakes, cookies, and slices which are available for your morning or afternoon tea: rainbow cake, harvest cake, carrot cake, triple chocolate cake, chocolate brownies, and black current, fruit and granola, and rocky road slices and the like, with gluten free and vegan options available! A huge slice of rainbow cake was only £2.50.
The menu is quite comprehensive, and caters for the breakfast, lunch, and morning and afternoon tea crowd. Breakfast and lunch items are fairly simple fare, such as beans and scrambled eggs on toast, jacket potatoes, and a good selection of sandwiches, paninis and toasties made to order. Cream teas with fruit scones and clotted cream are also available.
You can grab a board game to play while waiting or enjoying your refreshments; there’s also complimentary WiFi.
We enjoyed our visit, and will definitely return. It’s quirky, and unpretentious, with efficient service. It’s also spotlessly clean, with a top hygiene rating. The toilets were fresh and clean. It's also very child friendly; some tables are laid with games and activities for the kiddies! It’s only open Wednesday through to Saturday, with the coffee shop closing at 15:30. Unfortunately for wheelchair users, there's stairs at the front, and there's a lot of shelves and display units in the gift shop part of the complex that you'll have to weave your way through to get to the tearoom. However, there's seating outside if it's a nice day.
Places like this deserve patronage! Give it a go!
