The service was good but the food was terrible; tiny baked potato with a tiny amount of the most finely grated cheese and curled up, dried out salad and a congealed coleslaw which clearly was not fresh. I made the mistake of dining here again after a similarly poor experience; the portions are tiny and the prices are exorbitant. I will not return again. there are far better places to eat close by.

The venue was absolutely freezing. And an extremely creepy host who was getting drunk 18 year old girls to give him lap dances and trying to get their Instagram's. We went there for a bingo bongo night. Barely played any bingo, and we left half way through because the host was making us feel too uncomfortable.

Absolutely disgusting prices , we ordered two sandwiches one bacon and egg on normal bread and one bacon and sausage and was charged £19.68, we could have a bacon sandwich in the Ritz for this . After ordering the sandwich we were asked to stand outside on a very cold windy day. How rude after robbing us with the prices of a normal sandwich . This is daylight robbery and we will never ever eat here again .They also advertise a breakfast sandwich on ciabatta at £5.75 ?????? . Why was we robbed

The service was so slow that it would have been quicker to go home and prepare it myself. Nearly all the tables were littered with dirty crockery and left over food. It was obvious that they were short staffed but they should have stopped serving cooked food and just carried on with drinks and cakes. It was the most awful experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I will accept that what staff there was did as well as was possible but should not have attempted to do cooked meals. Gordon Bradley

First time we have Booked the lounge. This will not be the last. We were friendly welcomed at reception explained how it worked. The breakfast there was cereals, porridge, cold and hot fresh food you can go back as many times as you wish. The drinks there was a good selection alcohol or non alcohol, along with a coffee machine. There were no toilet in the lounge area which is a shame. Overall a good experience

Wish I’d read the reviews before we came! My original choice was sold out so chose scampi and chips with salad and my husband had hunters chicken. The wait time wasn’t so bad to say how busy it was but the meal was not worth the money. I was expecting home cooked chips and hot skinny French fries, the salad was a measly but if iceberg lettuce one slice of lettuce and one bit of cucumber! I could have had the same meal in Morrisons for half the price! Will not be returning as very disappointed

Whether it was 'cause it was busy but............ Not a long queue but took 15 minutes to get to the hot food for starters. Then served my husband and then the ONLY server started talking to a work colleague. I had to interupt!!! another 7 minutes to pay. by the time we found an empty table, seemed to be only one person clearing the tables at lunch time, our poorly cooked and presented food was nearly cold. Dhepherds Pie was quite tasty but tepid. My husband had macroni cheese and chips. Chips were just about cooked and still white. Macaroni cheese flavoursome. not recommended for lunch time

The food is very good, but the service is extremely slow, with unhelpful and surly staff. If you are within half an hour of the breakfast menu ending, they won’t serve you. If you are 10 mins too early for the lunch menu to start, they won’t serve you. If you are visiting within half an hour of closing time, they won’t serve you. Seeing a pattern here?I go with my 2 year old granddaughter, and thankfully she is patient, as we have waited over 20 mins for a fish finger sandwich! BUT, it is worth waiting for, as tasty and freshly cooked!
