Friendly prompt efficient customer service from Jade and the other waitress with blond hair and glasses (I don't know her name) and a delicious filing breakfast with a very generous discount on the price, as I stayed the night at Travelodge. I asked for breakfast without tomatoes and beans and also if I could have an extra hash brown instead which was okay and Jade keyed it in on the receipt but I realised about half way through breakfast that I didn't get the extra hash brown. Doesn't detract from a decent plate of food and customer service though

We decided to eat here before going on to the airport first impression good clean the lady on the till was very friendly.However to the side was the manageress she was very rude when the lady asked her a question about our meal if looks could kill i think she needs more training on customer service and a smile wouldnt go a miss.The food was lovely the only thing that spoilt our visit was the manageress

Stopped off here on the way home, not expecting anything great, but hungry and tired after landing at Luton Airport. We both had Fish, Chips and mushy peas, at a very reasonable price. Not only that, but the fish was hot, huge and very tasty with a generous portion of chips and peas. Free and unlimited salad with every meal as well. Special mention to Karen who served us in a friendly and professional manner. A credit to Harvester and a good laugh. Ticked the boxes. Well done Karen.

Husband had ultimate grill and the meat was inedible. Offered him a doggy bag but to be fair I would not have fed it to the dogs. Desserts only two available off of whole menu. My meal had so much bbq sauce on it you could not taste anything else. All in all very poor and will not be wasting money there again

The staff seem to have forgotten what the concept of being open until 10pm meansBy 8.30pm 80% of the restaurant is shut off, or has reserved sheets of a$ on the tables.The coffee machine is shut down, and cleaned and put to bed.You don't feel wanted in fact you feel inconvenient. Staff are focused on going home rather than giving anyone a good experience.

My wife and I were staying in the Travelodge next door prior to a flight from east Midlands airport. We were unsure about eating in the services but our meals were both of good quality and served with a help yourself salad. The discount of 20% as residents of the Travelodge made our meals very reasonably priced.

Stopped here around noon on a Saturday, Might have been the horrible weather but everywhere was very quiet.Thus there were plenty of tables in the area specific to teh Harvester. It's a find a table and order at the counter operation. Ordered 2 fish and chips and a gammon and chips. Food arrived after about 10 minutes, all freshly cooked. Unfortunately, one of the plates of fish and chips was swimming in grease. Looked as if the fish had been cooked at the wrong temperature, which also affected the quality of the fish. The other F&C was fine. Didn't make a fuss as we still had a very long journey ahead of us. The gammon was also fine.Would probably have rated a 4 had both G&Cs been good, so 1 star less for grease.Staff very friendly, service very quick and food freshly prepared. Thirty quid for 3 meals plus a coke and a fizzy water not too horrendous,

It has been some time since my last visit to this restaurant and the improvement has been remarkable. The food was excellent, served hot and in a reasonable time by Izzey who was cheerful and smiling throughout.

Ate here Tuesday night as we were staying at the nearby Travelodge and got a 20% discount on food with room key. It was surprisingly good. I had gammon and my wife fish and chips. The chips were not great, but plentiful. Salad buffet was included. Located in the covered area surrounded by other food outlets.

Treated my boys to a meal here when staying at the travellodge as it was their birthday. Ordered chicken wraps for them and order wrong as one arrived with baked beans which were not ordered. One only wrap for each son which I did not expected so not big portions for older children. I ordered simple grilled chicken which was served with frozen bag vegetables and very thin gravy. Quite disappointed with our meal.

We were staying at the Radisson Blu at East Midlands Airport the night before our flight and not wanting to pay restaurant prices at the hotel, headed to the Harvester pub at Donnington Services for our evening meal.The pub is fairly large with plenty of tables and a wide range of choices on the menu. We opted for the mac and cheese bites and the chorizo to start followed by the grilled chicken and BBQ chicken stack. All courses were served piping hot and the staff were very friendly.

On a normal journey we wouldn't entertain this restaurant having read the reviews. However, on a nightmare journey from South London to North Yorkshire, we were getting desperate. It just goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything you read on TripAdvisor! Having not visited a Harvester for many years, we were pleasantly surprised by the varied menu of good, simple classics. Between us, we opted for a chicken burger, stuffed peppers and kids fish and chips with steamed vegetables. The salad bar inclusion was a nice treat and evoked 1990s Pizza Hut visits! I went to the bar to order from Emma, who was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there were no stuffed peppers (this was a downside - a number of other things seemed unavailable also) but Emma recommended the pasta arrabiata and offered Cajun chicken on top. We filled our salad bowls and refillable soft drinks, and sat at our table for only about 10 minutes before the food arrived. On arrival it was all nicely presented and lovely and hot (unlike the previous nights different restuarant - which shall remain nameless!) All the food was well cooked and flavoursome, barring my son's steamed veg which looked like it had been microwaved. All in all, this restaurant was surprisingly good and I won't hesitate to eat here in the future, as well as looking at Harvesters elsewhere as back on the menu!

We stayed here as a family of 5 on our way to London. Pleasantly surprised to see a harvester at a services.

La hamburguesa tenía un agradable sabor, con remolachas mezclado con patatas y otras hortalizas, creo. La porción gruesa de Haloumi dieron un sabor único. Con una buena porción de patatas fritas y una parte de col esta fue una abundante comida. Aunque tuvimos que esperar una media hora para la comida, el hecho de que cada plato viene con ensalada ilimitado nos mantuvo ocupados hasta los principales campos llegamos.

Came here with my fiancé, after hours of driving from London, we stopped here for dinner, the service was so bad, we were given dirty stained glasses, they had nothing available from the menu, the food was stone cold when it arrived. Stopped here for some dinner. Fish and chips. INEDIBLE. Disgusting. Never again. Fish was overcooked, just mush, tasted of water, chips burnt, salad bar was empty.

Decided to have a spot of breakfast before picking family up from the airport. Now, my exceptions of such establishments is not very high however I ordered a veg breakfast and a coffee for the grand total of £8.18. Not cheap by there you go. I received my breakfast which was missing toast. As I glanced back on the menu it became apparent my breakfast didn't actually come with toast. One would imagine for the price of the breakfast, a slice of toast would have been compulsory. Never the less I couldn't warrant paying any extra for my breakfast so I left it. Veg sausages extremely dry, scramble egg not creamy but ok. Mushroom and tomato were ok. Hash brown crispy. I had about a table spoon of beans. All I can imagine is beans around this neck of the woods must be mega expensive. Hardly worth putting such a small portion on the plate. Coffee was decent. Overall very poor quality plastic food at a high price. Word of advice. Keep driving.

Nos gusta la cadena harvester de restaurantes y este es útil cuando vas al Este Aeropuerto Midlands o viajar a lo largo de la M1. He visitado muchas veces, pero esta vez me decepcionó. Como esta Cosechadora Express está muy cerca del aeropuerto de East Midlands comimos aquí antes de volar.
