Morrisons Supermarket Cafe in East Lindsey

Just orded a Ultimate breakfast with uber eats and a jacket potatoes with cheese for my wife. I did not receive ANY fried bread or hash browns. The food was served in a tiny box all sat on top of each other. I have taken pictures of what I received I'm totally disgusted. My wife's jacket was uncut sat on cold salad that had sent it soggy and no butter.The jacket was that cold the cheese would not melt. It cost £17. Im totally in shock at just how bad this was. I will never order again

Lowsie service. The food was cold, I asked for jacket potato with beans and cheese, never got my beans. My uncle asked for bangers and mash, his mashed potato was cold. The coffee machine was broken. We went in at 1:45 and there was nothing left for a Sunday dinner. Over all bad service

we were told a 45min wait for lunch after we had paid? otherwise we would have go somewhere else, when it arrive it was cold and tasteless, never eat here again!!!

Love this place for a nice coffee, my little boy loves the balloons.Nothing is too much trouble for the ladies and very clean

First meal I’ve had where the container tastes better the food! Had to wait 30 mins plus for subpar food. Manager was on phone the whole time on shift. Would not recommend

Probably the worst Supermarket restaurant experience ever. Cold, tasteless food (that is if they even have it), dry shriveled sausages, and chips that taste like they were cooked a week ago or fell out of a microwave box . Dirty tables, overpriced - just awful.

Had a breakfast after shopping not bad at all breakfast was ok but coffee machine was not good that’s why we missed the coffee Recommend

We decided to visit Morrisons Skegness cafe on Sunday lunchtime, myself, my wife, daughter and 2 grandchildren. We ordered 3 Sunday roasts and a lasagne. As I was getting the drinks a lady said to me, don’t order the Sunday roast it’s terrible. Too late, I have already ordered it. I then met a lady from our church who said the same as she also had tried it and was disappointed. When the food arrived my granddaughter was not happy as her meal had gravy on it , they agreed to swap it which was good. The look of the roasts was not appealing and unfortunately the meals were mostly like warm and the vegetables were old and dried up. The cauliflower cheese was warm and not too bad. I asked if they had horseradish to go with the beef, alas no, and this is in a shop where they sell it. My daughter had lasagne she said it was ok but not very hot. I’m afraid I would have to say avoid the Sunday lunch. The cafe was fairly quiet and I know why now. We have tried many Morrisons cafes around the country and they are quite variable, unfortunately I think Skegness is not great at present, hope it gets better

Cold coffee soggy cool steak pie. Lukewarm chips and peas. Staff in filthy aprons serving food, very unhygienic and risk of cross contamination. Total waste of money and very off putting.

Popped into Morrisons and decided to have breakfast. You order your food on a screen and pay for it. There were lots of tables that hadn't been cleared with uneaten food. The food came and the lady was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasteless. Cheap sausages , bacon, and hash browns. Did not enjoy it at all.

It takes for ever waiting for your food. They need more staff and the food is always cold plus they don’t even put all your food on the same plate.

Went here today with our grandchildren as they love it . Food not bad but a big shout out to sylvi who served us and was very polite and helpful they need more staff like her and up the food standards and it would be a vast improvement

saturday 27-8-22 went to this shop for breakfast myself and the wife, I order two full english breakfasts two teas for a grand total of £16-56p, the tea was £1-29p each, the two meals was £6-99p each, for that we got one small egg small pot of beans two sauge two thin bacon half tomato two hash browns one bit of toast, and a mushroom this meal was not worth the money, the meal was just worm, will never have a meal in any morrisons around this country again.

I have had several meals here and for the past few years I have been disappointed.I normally go with my Nan and she suggested to give them another chance which I agreed to.I wish I hadn’t bothered.I ordered a small breakfast which came with a fried egg,tomatoes,one slice of toast as well as the usual condiments and I asked for the meat to be cooked well done.When I came to order my meal I requested to not have the tomatoes and replace them with scrambled eggs and also added an extra slice of toast.When my meal came my sausage was well done but my bacon looked anaemic.My fried egg was missing as well.I mentioned that I had no fried egg and the response I got was you can’t have a fried egg as you requested a scrambled egg.I replied back stating I didn’t want any tomatoes and requested to replace them with scrambled egg and they said you can’t do that.So I had to order a fried egg even though this is mentioned to be included in the meal.Before I came to pay for my fried egg I said it’s a stupid rule,they said the person who put my order through was aware of this rule and should have told you this which they didn’t.Anyway they said “just take it” and I said do you want me to pay for the egg and they said no.And I got no apology either.So if you do decide to have a meal their and want a breakfast then be aware that you can’t have more than one kind of egg.So to sum up my experience I felt disappointed and mislead.

Decided to go for a breakfast with my partner today on a sunday and the cafe was so dirty, the tables was filthy had other people's food left on them, food on the floor. We picked a table but had to ask the lady if we could move to a clean table as it was disgusting. She told us that we can but the waitress probably won't know which table we would be at. It got to the point we're other customers was grabbing spray and cloth to clean their own table. If the cafe was in that state then i couldn't imagine what the kitchen was like...i dread to think.

Morrisons have obviously upped their game since the last few reviews. We visited twice (for breakfast and lunch on different days) on our recent seaside jaunt. So this review covers both visits. Food on both our visits was absolutely delicious, ordered, served and tables cleared with a smile. Kids heartily recommended the Mac`n`Cheese and we loved the vegan burgers and smashed avocado and poached eggs on toast. Another small thing to mention. Serving simple scrambled eggs separately to the toast so the toast doesn`t get soggy. Simple, but effective. All food was really nicely presented as well on posh plates which was good and a step up from usual supermarket cafes presentation. Thumbs all round from us, keep up the good work.

We came here to the cafe last year sometime in the summer when we stayed at Butlins Skegness. We drove over to here because the food at Butlins were alot more expensive! We came here everyday for a week and the food was lovely, the staff talked to us and seemed really happy to be there. The food is delicious and normally served pretty quickly. We loved comming here as the food was tons more cheaper than butlins. If we stay at butlins again, most certainly will come here again. Lovely place. X😊

Wated one hour for a sandwich and chips Served by a rude man who when we asked for a refund for our chips because they had prices from the fat fryer he didn’t speak in a mood and took them away . Also my brother went up to the counter later on to get our refund the rude lady we were served by three 75p at him! ps: the toilet paper feels like sandpaper 😂

Was served by a rude lady who told us a 20 minute wait for food. 55 minutes later our food arrived to turn out to be disgusting and inedible. We asked for a refund and had the money thrown back at us. We will not be visiting again!

Food was disgusting, staff rude and waited 50 minutes for a toasted sandwich and chips which weren’t edible!!

Eggs benedict & a small breakfast, pot of tea & cappuccino. Got served pretty quickly as only a few customers at the time, food was hot exactly what we had ordered. Drinks were refillable. Reasonable cost good food definitely visit again.

Been here a few times for breakfast and the odd coffee and never really thought to give it a quick review. Portion sizes are generous and would come back time and time again. The cooked breakfasts are not too greasy and the quality f the coffee is good. I would rate this as a good decent place to eat for convenience or a quick bite in the morning.

Popped in for a hearty breakfast before heading on a long coach trip. And left feeling ready to face the world. Yes it's a supermarket cafe, and you wouldn't expect 5 star. But you would be pleasantly surprised. The staff are helpful and friendly. Toilet facilities are the supermarket ones. Disabled facilities available.

Staying on a nearby caravan park, Morrisons was ideal for breakfast. We must have been in at least 5 days out of the 7 we were there.

I really wish I didn't have to write this, but I feel I have to. This is the second visit in a row we have not been happy. First time was a few months ago, we waited over an hour for jacket potatoes. The table next to us had small children and were having tantrums, the mother was having a meltdown. I did feel sorry for her.We thought this time, as its off peak, thta it would be better. The wait was better, but the food was yak. The chips that we all had and an extra plate were dark brown and tasted really weird. My husband said its coz they needed to change the oil, makes sense. I was really disappointed as I was starving and couldn't eat it.My husband ordered an extra burger, which they had none of, so we were offered a chicken burger. We didn't realise it was a singular chicken burger, minus the bun and salad!!!What a shame. .

Even if the staff here can manage to get your order correct, it really is a disappointment to eat here, considering they have a supermarket full of great produce, they still manage to supply poor quality food in their cafe.

I've eaten here a few times and normally always have an issue, usually forgotten food items, meals not available, no cutlery, dirty tables, no milk for the coffee or issue with the food. Due to the constant issues we decided not to use again for the past 7 months, however we decided to give it a try on Sunday to see if there was an improvement, unfortunately I have to say not really, the staff were nice and at least more of them because it's normally understaffed the issue this time was the food qualify, we ordered an all day brunch and 2 Scottish breakfasts, the eggs were so undercooked they were unedible, the bacon also very undercooked, very disappointing as I can honestly cook it better at home. It's a shame but to many issues now to risk again, ok for coffee, if you can get cream or a tea spoon ( you often cant ) but otherwise I think eating here is to hit and miss and not reliable or consistent

Popped in here as we were in the area for a coffee. Good service, reasonably priced and good seating. Ideal for a break before shopping or if looking around the area. Plenty of parking and located near to the railway station.

Not the most exciting place to eat but you always know what you get at a low price no unexpected extras

I had sausage, egg and chips. I’m sure the sausage was haunted. I had a similar experience in Oxfordshire one year. Weird.

We came to Morrison’s for some dinner, we waited 50 minutes for our meals and when they finally arrived after they were cold, also they had forgot the cheese and bacon and the cheese and bacon burger we had ordered😑

We stopped here and grabbed a quick breakfast. It was a Monday morning and we were quite early. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered the Big Breakfast Bap, to be fair one between us would have been enough! But when you've ordered and it's served fresh and hot, it's heads down and chomp away!!!!!!

Bought the family. In for tea. No cutlery out. Asked for tomato ketchup, asked they done have any. Said ita a supermarket get some off shelf. Not impressed

The first 2 meals I ordered were out of stock. - Lasagne and Tikka. My friend asked for a breakfast to be told they don't do any after 3 but didn't get told about the alternate all day breakfast brunch they do after 3.

Myself, wife and kids were on a weeks holiday at butlins skegness, if you enjoy blowing £50 a night on food and drink then please don't bother reading this review.

Cold and badly cooked food I would not recommend this place for eating. Staff was scruffy and bad mannered.

Won’t be visiting again. Second poor breakfast we’ve had. Always give places a second chance but this one was worse than the first, order was missed so sat for over 40 minutes waiting until I asked where the breakfast was. Hash browns still cold. Very poor quality. Not impressed

Well went for food with the wife we got there seen what we wanted we orded food and got to drinks out the pop dispenser we got to table and both drinks was flat my wife's bacon come like Cole out of a fire and I had a burger that was dry as hell and taistless will not be going back there discussing

I came in this evening and sat and had tea with my little girl after a quick shop around the store. I ordered lasagne and my little girl had cottage pie. The food was lovely. That was until a guy came out the kitchen, still wearing his apron and started spraying the bottom of the fire door next to the till and coffee and condiments section. There were bugs all over. I’m not sure what they were.

Cafe not open so called for petrol never seen such rude staff before in my life. The Lady lambastated me when went to pay for fuel for going in wrong way pointed out there sign had been changed around she said that is always happening - no apology instead she said I must go and change it now imediately I said what about serving me so I can pay for my fuel she said I can leave the other lady to do that - she had stood at her till empty the whole time there waiting for person in front of me to be served she had never offered to serve me earlier just left me to wait

Visit Morrisons for shopping regularly and always have a coffee or meal whilst we are there. Food is good and not too pricey.

Breakfast was fantastic, good quality food and good prices, shame about the noise of a busy supermarket however what can I say to that when it based in a supermarket.

Ok food. typical supermarket café. Wouldn't win any prizes but probably not trying to. Useful for breakfast.

I ate here as it was convenient. I had never heard of the Big Daddy Breakfast before consisting of 19 items so being a fry up connoisseur I ordered it with a coffee and a slice of toast (as it does not come with toast) at 50p a slice with butter and a coffee. The breakfast was nothing special at £6 but everything was lukewarm including my coffee.

I went with my wife shopping and we had breakfast first it was while coming and not very warm when we got it we have had the same problem at several Morrison's still like there shops but stay clear of the cafes.

Visited this cafe while visiting Skegness with my Husband, brother and sister-in-law, all pensioners. It was a disaster from the start! wish we had just walked out. Could not see a menu, lady at till said see some at entrance. really wanted a loose one in my hand for us to look at, told some at entrance, went back again and none available , she said they must have been taken. Decided what we wanted in the end, told only 2 pies left! This being only 3pm. Asked for Chicken, No Chicken!. Decide two would have the pie and mash with peas, one Gammon egg and chips, myself Lamb Hock and mash. Well the mash was awfull! grey and horrible, one came with beans that were not ordered, we got an apology about the beans and asked if wanted to change, being polite we decided to keep as had already started the meal, but leaving the beans. Lady in Cafe gave back the price of the meal with the beans and apologised but overall all the meals were awful including the Gammon. Will avoid!!!!

The omelette meal was good two cheese and mushrooms with chips and pease there was only two of us but if we would of had the grand kids with us they would of had there’s free

Day trip on train from Heckington to Skegness , popped into a cup of tea and we ended up having lunch. Was impressed the cafe was busy , they have a good system for ordering food. Food was hot and served to the table. I drink Earl Grey Tea and was pleased there was lemon slices available. Tables were clean and cleared quickly overall very good value and food couldn't be faulted.

Good value, good menu covered most times of day as open early morning to late afternoon. Service was a bit slow as restaurant was not busy at time but food was hot and freshly made . Glad to see they now have individual seats as not a fan of bolted to the floor type perhaps they were worried about them being pinched!

We managed to feed 3 of us for £12 which was fantastic. We all walked out full and satisfied.

Lovely food and extremely friendly staff. Good selection of meals for adults and children. Will be going again

Me and my family were on holiday for 7 nights at Butlins and after tasting the overpriced microwaved grub they serve up we were so thankful to stumble across this little gem!

We often have breakfast at our own Morrison’s so we were not disappointed . Same good service and a lovely meal

We arrived for a meal with family, we ordered and got told it would be 25min wait for food after 30 mins someone came over to say one of the meals we had ordered they haven't got we had to choose something else and wait another 30 mins the food was really nice when it came but wait time was unacceptable.

When we arrived (around 5pm) there were no trays. The lady behind us had to ask to have some brought through from the back. We got to the till and was told there were no fish and chips. Okay, no biggie. I then tried to order a lasagne and was again told no lasagne. I was also told there would be a 30 minute wait for hot food. What food? No apology or explanation was offered though the woman behind us did get an apology despite the fact she hadn’t even ordered any food. We walked out in the end and went to KFC.

Called in here when I was in town for football. Had Pie Jacket Potato and Beans. Was more than enough for a quick lunch. Pleasant staff and reasonably quick service. Under £7 with a nice coffee

This was our first visit to the Wainfleet store, we usually shop in Pinchbeck. Staff friendly & helpful & well worth a visit, a mini roundabout from the main road would help the chaos on busy times of day, if trying to turn right you have to risk pulling across the road & hope someone will let you in.

Time didn’t allow us to go to our regular eating place so we decided to eat in the cafe. What a pleasant experience. The food was a good standard, it was hot and the staff were very obliging. I chose the jacket potato with Chilli, a good selection. Well worth considering future visits.

Called in the restraunt for coffee and toast. It was fairly quiet but the wait for food was half an hour or more. Customers were complaining and unfortunately the staff didn't appear interested. Tables were cleared but not wiped down. It's not like Morrisons to be lax .

Ultimately when the staff are friendly and try their very best you get the best that you can. The staff work very hard here and cook the food as well as they can, as quickly as they can. It is not a massively culinary experience but all power to them...especially the ladies who deliver the food...thanks

Paramos en el hotel con mi pareja cuando compras. A pesar de pedir uno después el otro mi compañero había acabado de comer su comida antes de la mía llegó. No había ni siquiera una disculpa por la demora. Muy decepcionante.

quite good value for money and very generous portions---there must have been 6oz of ham on the plated salad and 3 sausages with the egg chips and beans all for around £3.50 a pop--will call again.

Even though I work in this store I eat in here when I am on a very late finish (silly o'clock at night ) I have had lasagne and chips (nicer than m+s in my opinion)Scampi and chips and peas . loads of scampi and really nice tartar sauce too.And others too! I can honestly say that I have not received a below standard meal at all throughout the summer season when it has been extremely busy.Yes sometimes it's really busy and you have to wait a while for the meal, but you do everywhere when it's busy but at least it's cooked to order so it's fresh. It works out that I can get a hot meal and a drink for about £1 more than from the fresh to go counter (sandwich, snack and cold drink) and I know what I would rather have when I am on lates.

This is not a bad a bad place for a cuppa or coffee, I had something to eat but when it arrived it was just warm, when I complained the staff were not to interest, yes it was take away but it still came back just warm.

I have used several Morrison's Supermarket cafes at various locations and find them all to serve food to the same high standards. The menus are pretty much the same but are substantial. The food quality is very high and reliable. The serving staff are very nice. Portions are generous and the prices are low. I always eat before I shop, tend to buy less and make a saving :)

The meals are nice for the money you pay but the fish and chips are lovely very good if you have children free for kids with a adults meal and after 4pm 2 adults fish and chips meals with a drink for £9 the staff are very nice and cheerful

Whilst paying a visit to Morrisons in Skegness, we decided to have our evening teatime meal here instead of in Butlins Resort where we were staying. What a difference to be part of the real world again, Two meals which were Steak and Ale pie and Gammon and egg with the usual chips and veg, plus two drinks all for £9.50p, fantastic.Not only were the meals plentiful but the quality was also very very good indeed, why would you want to go anywhere else for a meal, well worth a visit if you are anywhere near the supermarket, and the bonus is that it's free parking.

Nothing special, usual menu for a supermarket café, service was rather slow & the prices were rather on the high side for the quality of food received.

Great menu, the all day full English is a must, great prices , comfortable environment and friendly staff. All round good place to eat.

Me and my partner visited just gone 12, women said there would be a wait as they are busy, we sat down and waited. 40mins passed and our order was served, wrong, cold and not up to normal standards, totally put me off.

After completing our shopping my wife and I always go to the café for our lunch. This is our treat once every two weeks on a Wednesday. The downside is that you cannot use your Morrisons points card in the cafe

Had a Christmas Dinner 2 course at the morrisons café. My friend and I decided to have a Christmas dinner as it seemed to be good value. We waited about 15minutes which was fine. But when the dinner was presented to us it was all cold. My friends was too. So had to walk from the bottom end down to the counter to tell the lady on desk it was cold could they please warm it up. So she looked and just said if you bring it back down we will sort it. Not good customer service making me have to walk back with 2 dinners in my hands. I was shocked she told me to take them and didn't send someone down to us. Then we had to wait about 20minutes and then had to ask a member of staff where our dinners were. She said they will bring them back down to us fresh meals. So when they finally came they came back hot . But as much as it was great to finally get what we had expected to receive in the 1st place. It should of been tested that it was hot in the 1st place. Very disappointed that we had to wait so long to get our hot meal. Then we had Christmas pudding and custard. Could of been a better experience. But will give them the benefit of the doubt. It was value for money . so please make sure you are sending out hot meals not cold . Nobody wants a cold hot dinner.

They say you shouldn't food shop on a empty stomach, so we popped into the café for dinner. The choice of food is quite good. The order for food is taken one end of the counter then you help yourself to extras and drinks then pay the other end. The food was quickly brought to the table. My wife has the lasagne that looked and smelt lovely. My son had chicken nugget kids meal with mashed potato. The mash didn't look very appealing but he cleared every bit of it up and said it was nice. I had steak pie and jacket potato that was very nice. The meal was far cheaper than a certain burger place and filled us up. Only downside was having to do the shopping when I really wanted to have a sleep.

Went to have a snack but ended up leaving before we ordered. The whole cafe was disgusting, had to clear a table to sit down. From where I sat I could see at least 15 tables piled high with dirty crockery. My husband was in the queue, I phoned him & we decided to leave. Our first & last visit.

We use to like eating here, infact we use to bring a mini bus of old folk for shopping and a meal. The food and service have got so bad we wont come and more.

Arrived on a Saturday morning after a 3 hour drive , staff very helpful and pleasant. The cooked breakfast we Ordered was very nice.

Was one of the best Morrisons breakfasts I've had. Quick service even though it was busy and staff where really friendly. Will be back next time I'm in Skegness

We always have lunch here when we get off the train. It's a family tradition but this time it's gone downhill. It's always super busy do that cannot be used as an excuse although I can forgive them running out of chickens. I chose a replace the pie which was lovely, but swapped with husband as his looked nice until he opened it and he had been looking forward to it. I can only assume they microwave it as it looked like it had been nuked once you lifted the lid. The pastry was so burnt inside it was black. The gravy was completely dried up so the volume was half the amount of the nicely cooked pie and the meat was like little rubber bullets. I don't know if it had been reheated twice but you don't spend to leave the food. Looking at the que and the fact we had already had a long wait put me off complaining but I doubt we will eat there again.

Because of our time schedule we had a limited choice of places to eat. For that reason we chose the Morrison's Cafe, which I have used before. I was however disappointed at the meal set before us. Prior to this visit we had always enjoyed a good fresh salad with our meals. On this visit our salad was almost non existent. One small tomato and one small piece of salad. Sorry Morrisons, you will have to do better than this, unless you are not worried about our custom, which includes £50 plus of groceries. Tescos is just down the road.

My nans favourite so its why it got the five amazing value friendly team decent service. Definatly a place to eat if ur after a quick bite

Always pretty good food , sometime service leaves a bit to be desired. But great value throughout the day.

We used the restaurant for a lunch following recommendations of others. They have a large enough menu for everyone to be able to find something they like, your order is taken at the Cafe order point, and 10-15 minutes later your food arrives. We chose one chicken dish and a lasagne - both were hot and delicious. Well Done.

Nice store as usual but went there for breakfast on Sunday I would give it a 3 out of ten the food was not good compared to other morrrisons would not eat there again

Often have breakfast here when in skegness - the breakfast is always good and unlike some of the arcade cafés it's not swimming in grease. The bacon is grilled which i like and you can tell it's not "cheap" ingredients. I can't give it 5 but that is because I hate the fixed seating has a 70s road chef feel that's the only downside really.

Found the staff helpful and friendly, we only had sandwiches, they had a good filling and bread was soft, tea and coffee at a decent price. Workman at side of us had full English and there was plenty on his plate, the menu was good and they advertise specials, did find sweats a bit dear. plenty of people in and looks like it could get packed at times.

Have visited on several occasions and have no complaints about their snacks nor their beverages..they do a lovely hot chocolate!

Great good size portions and a proper mug of Tea. Easy to find at the Spilsby end of the B1195 Wainfleet To Spilsby. Just what you need after a good old ride out. 12 miles from Skeg.

had lunch on visit to Skegness to view property the range of freshly cooked food at exceptional low prices was good, hunters chicken meal worth mentioning as large portion well cooked

Cafe Morrisons, located inside the Morrisons Cafe in Skegness is a perfect place to get a decent, reasonably priced meal if you are in the Skegness area. It is situated in pleasant, clean surroundings and the staff are always very helpful and attentive. The meals are excellent, very reasonably priced and even when the cafe is very busy, you do not have to wait very long for your meals to be brought to your table. Cafe Morrisons offers two meals for £8,50 with free hot beverages included in that price and these meals are as good , if not better than you would get in the average High Street cafe. There are lockers in which you can store your trolley after you have been through the checkouts or you could of course eat before you do your shopping.A little tip: Morrisons employ a Private Parking Agency to enforce certain parking restrictions. These are not legally enforceable as Morrisons car park is on private, not council land, but you are advised to leave your vehicle's registration number at the Customer Serive Desk if you intend to eat in Morrisons cafe as well as do your shopping there, because to hours is simply not enough time to do this in. You could be in the cafe for an hour, not because of the time it takes to be served, but because it is very relaxing area, there are even lounge style seating at the rear of the cafe if you simply want to sit and have a chat with your friends over a coffee. I eat here on a regular basis, at least twice a week and I can highly recomment Cafe Morrisons
